[ARTICLE] 150521 BEAST‘s Dongwoon’s Japanese debut
Dongwoon, who is the most fluent in languages in BEAST, is debuting in Japan before South Korea. He even personally worked on writing the lyrics and captivates the listeners with his sweet singing voice!
Two songs are written by BEAST’s member and music producer Junhyung and Dongwoon wrote the lyrics himself. Also, a song requested by the fans, ‘Become a Star’, which was sung together with his friends from BEAST, Yoseob and Dujun, at Beautiful Show 2014 in Japan. Additionally, a cover ofAyaka’s ‘Strong Thought’was also recorded.

[ARTICLE] 150521 KBS Bans New Songs from 2AM’s Seulong and BEAST’s Jang Hyun Seung
New songs by both 2AM‘s Seulong and Beast’s Jang Hyun Seung have been deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS, but both sides have revealed that they do not plan to revise their songs’ lyrics.
On May 21, KBS announced that Seulong’s new track “Tell Me,” in addition to two tracks from Jang Hyun Seung’s new solo album, “I Love You” and “Dirty Joke,” will not be broadcast on its networks.
In spite of this news, however, both sides have said that they will not change the content of their songs. According to a representative of Seulong, “It’s the music [Im Seulong] wanted to make, and he will not sacrifice his style by modifying it.” Meanwhile, a representative of Jang Hyun Seung’s agency, Cube Entertainment, made a similar statement, saying, “We submitted the title track for review first, and the decisions about the rest of the album’s tracks seem to be coming out now. There are no plans to revise any lyrics.”
Jang Hyun Seung’s new solo album “My” was released on May 8, while Seulong will release “Tell Me” on May 22 following his recent move to his new agency, SidusHQ.
[ARTICLE] 150521 Yoseob and Junhyung lend a hand for 'Let's Eat 2' OST
BEAST members – Yong Junhyung and Yang Yoseob – participated on the OST for the latest drama of fellow member Yoon Doojoon, ‘Let’s Eat 2′.
The OST titled ‘Why Don’t you Know’ was showcased on the drama’s last night episode. This song was aired when Doojoon’s character, Goo Daeyoung, was sadly looking at his crush Baek Suji, played by actress Seo Hyunjin, while she getting together with Lee Sangwoo, a character played by actor Kwon Yool.
‘Why Don’t you Know’ shows dramatic vocals by BEAST’s main vocalist Yang Yoseob and was written by Yong Junhyung and his best mate in the Good Life team, composer Kim Taejoo*. This song will be officially released online on June 2.
Before the drama was aired last night, Doojoon wrote on his SNS account: “having a favor in irrelevant timing, a friend who makes it in short times and a friend who sings it in a blink of an eye. Putting aside the fact that we’re friends I’m just really fortunate to be able to work very closely with such talented people…. Thank You Thank You”.
Yang Yoseob then also took time to write a witty tweet: “You’ve worked hard. Thanks to Goo Daeyoung I can sing a good song and make a cameo on drama, also I genuinely a Goo Daeyoung’s fan, Goo Daeyoung not Yoon Doojoon,” he posted.
Not only that, Yang Yoseob will also make a cameo appearance in this drama which airs every Monday-Tuesday at 11 p.m. KST.
