Ada byk jenis anaemia. Megaloblastic Anaemia, Anaemia of Chronic Disease (AoCD), Vit B12-Deficiency Anaemia etc.

Anaemia kerana kekurangan zat besi ialah Iron-Deficiency Anaemia (IDA). IDA, boleh membawa kepada symtoms anaemia yg dishare oleh pelbagai penyebab anaemia yg lain eg cepat penat, sakit dada, letih, sesak nafas, berdebar, pucat, kuku jadi pale etc.
IDA juga boleh membawa kepada pica (memakan benda yg tiada zat eg tanah, potteries etc), dan angular chelitis (pecah pecah bucu mulut).

Vit B12, jika kekurangan, boleh membawa kepada byk isu, termasuklah psychiatric issues dan anaemia. Dalam kekurangan B12 ini, pesakit boleh mendapat Obessesive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) tu, tetapi ianya bukan lah kerana Anaemia. Dalam Vit B12 deficiency ini, psychiatric issues eg OCD, datang sebelum anaemia nye datang.
