What is unusual is the sudden timing of the relationship that had clearly drifted apart since 2016, and suddenly was reignited in September 2017. Then 10 weeks later, MM has moved into KP and is engaged, having lived with Harry for less than a month it appears.
Despite Harry saying he didn’t want a family immediately, apparently MM fell pregnant within six weeks of being married, which is not impossible. Given that he had said he didn’t want to start a family it seems rather rushed and unplanned, especially since a tour had been arranged for October in areas where there maybe the zika virus.
The whole arrangement seemed hurried, and while crisis management can try and cover up the cracks, people can see that something isn’t quite right about it all. If these were private citizens then it’s their own business and it’s their own money and scandal they can deal with. However, Harry is a member of the royal family who lives off the public purse, and each public appearance he makes represents the nation, therefore he and his spouse are accountable to the public in how they appear and how they behave. They represent the nation poorly, appearing scruffily dressed, and having displayed poor manners at several engagements.
People who rush to move in, get married, and then get pregnant usually have an agenda…and that’s not based on love especially when they barely know each other and have not met the parents. Apparently Harry still hasn’t met his father-in-law, which is surely something you do before getting married unless you are trying to hide something?
