Adebayor Happy With Form - (Striker Enjoying Gunners Life)
Emmanuel Adebayor believes Arsenal fans are now seeing the best of him this season. The Togo striker has helped fill the void left by Thierry Henry's departure to Barcelona with a number of impressive performances.Adebayor has netted six goals in the Premier League this term asArsenal have confounded the critics by going unbeaten so far this season.The former Monaco striker believes Arsenal and himself have benefited from Henry's departure.
Improvement
"People are seeing the best of me this season because I play more and I have more opportunities," Adebayor told skysports.com."My team-mates trust me more and also our game is not based on a world class striker (Henry)."Don't get me wrong, with the talent of Titi, it was a natural thing to go through him."Adebayor feels Arsenal's recent performances against Liverpool and Manchester United prove they are serious title contenders this season.

"We are ready for the title fight, we are a very young team,however we think we can win it with style and resilience," added Adebayor."Against Liverpool, we dominated the whole game. We played our passing game at its best."We created a lot to win the game, however to get a draw at Anfield is a good result as United still has to go there."The Man Utd game was the hardest, because they are a tremendous team with pacy forwards."It was an even game, we shared the points and hopefully that point, will win us the league come May."Adebayor also expressed his disappointment at Togo's failure toqualify for the African Cup of Nations in January, but vowed they will bounce back from the disappointment."We were beaten by a good Malian team with Kanoute, Diarra, Keita, they were very good on the day," noted Adebayor."Our nation were sad to lose that game, but we will be back very soon."

Barcelona board make Arsenal's Cesc priority
Barcelona's board are discussing the prospect of a major move to bring Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas back to the Nou Camp next season. DiarioSport says Barca directors are convinced Cesc has ambitions of again pulling on the Blaugrana shirt and are seriously debating the possibility of bidding for the midfielder at the end of this term. Barca already have first option on Cesc courtesy of his original move to the Gunners, which was negotiated by former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein. So any approach from Real Madrid can be countered by Barca should the Gunners indicate a willingness to sell.
Barca won't consider paying huge money for the midfielder, but the deal is on the agenda for the board in the coming months. |

Gerrard questions Arsenal depth
Reds ace unsure if The Gunners can cope with an injury crisis
Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard admits that Arsenal are currently the form team in the Premier League, however he is interested to see how The Gunners might cope should they be hit with an injury crisis.
Arsene Wenger's men have been in rampant mood so far this season, and currently top the table on goals scored, with a game in hand over second placed Manchester United.
After a bright start, Liverpool's recent league form has been indifferent, picking up two victories in their last seven matches.
But The Reds still remain unbeaten, and off the back of an 8-0 midweek thumping of Besiktas, Rafa Benitez will be eyeing an improvement in form.
Gerrard accepts Arsenal have been 'on fire' and are playing at the top of their game, however he has warned the North Londoners that Liverpool have yet to peak.
Full potential
"We are keeping pace at the top and we are not at our best yet, while few would argue that Arsenal are playing to their full potential at the moment," he told LiverpoolFC magazine.
He added: "They're on fire and playing out of their skin. But they have not had the problems that us, Chelsea and Manchester United have had with injuries to key players.
"It will be interesting to see how well they perform when they lose a few key players and face more tricky matches."
