Inter Prepare 15 Million Euro Bid For Rosicky - Report

According to news coming out of England, the Nerazzurri are set to make an offer for Arsenal's Czech star as Roberto Mancini searches for Figo's heir.

Tomas Rosicky has been targetted as the player to lead the Inter midfield of the future, according to the English media.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini believes that the former Borussia Dortmund ace can add that spark of creativity which will be missing once Luis Figo retires at the end of the season.

According to the 'Daily Mail', Inter have already prepared an offer of 15 million Euros in order to lure the talented and creative midfielder away from Arsenal.

Rosicky joined the Gunners last year, turning into a key player for the London-based outfit. He's been a significant factor in Arsenal's table-topping form this season despite the team losing Thierry Henry in summer.

It is unclear whether Arsenal will consider this offer or not, but it will probably take Inter more than 15 million Euros to sign him in any case.

ONE THOUSAND GOALS

Arsenal's most vital Premier League goals?

Arsenal reached a notable milestone on Monday night - Emmanuel Adebayor's strike against Reading was the Club's 1,000th Premier League goal.

To celebrate we've trawled through the archives to bring you some memorable goals from the Premier League years. We kick off here with 10 of Arsenal's most important goals in the last 15 years.

Dennis Bergkamp - 1996
Tony Adams - 1996

Dennis Bergkamp

Arsenal 2-1 Bolton Wanderers. May 5, 1996

Arsenal's hopes of Europe were ebbing away when Platt found Bergkamp with moments left in the final game of the season. The Dutchman lashed a shot into the top corner to book a Uefa Cup spot.

Tony Adams

Arsenal 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur. November 24, 1996

Wenger's new dawn had broken but a controversial Spurs goal threatened to knock the wind out of his sails. Then Adams met Bergkamp's pass with a crisp volley to keep Arsenal on an upward curve.

Ian Wright - 1997
Marc Overmars - 1998

Ian Wright

Arsenal 4-1 Bolton Wanderers. September 13, 1997

Not important in terms of trophies but a precious goal for Wright, who eclipsed Cliff Bastin's club scoring record with arguably the simplest finish of his career. It was No 179 for the legendary striker.

Marc Overmars

Manchester United 0-1 Arsenal. March 14, 1998

The moment the title pendulum swung Arsenal's way. Keown's long ball was headed on by Bergkamp and Anelka, Overmars nodded it into his stride and slotted past Schmeichel to snatch victory.

Chris Wreh - 1998
Freddie Ljungberg - 2002

Chris Wreh

Bolton Wanderers 0-1 Arsenal. March 31, 1998

Arsenal won 11 games on the spin to clinch the title and Wreh's spectacular goal in this game, plus his winner at Wimbledon, were just as vital as the high-profile victory at Old Trafford.

Freddie Ljungberg

Arsenal 2-0 West Ham United. April 24, 2002

Wiltord's Old Trafford goal was symbolic but not important - a draw would have clinched the title. But Ljungberg's late deadlock breaker against West Ham kept the Gunners on track during the run-in.

Thierry Henry - 2004
Jose Antonio Reyes - 2004

Thierry Henry

Arsenal 4-2 Liverpool. April 9, 2004

Out of the FA Cup, out of the Champions League and 2-1 down at home to Liverpool. Then Pires equalised before Henry produced a moment of magic to keep unbeaten Arsenal on course for the title.

Jose Antonio Reyes

Portsmouth 1-1 Arsenal.May 4, 2004

Apart from Van Nistelrooy's penalty at Old Trafford, this was probably the closest Arsenal came to failing in their bid for an unbeaten season. Reyes' second-half goal kept the run going.

Thierry Henry - 2006
Alexander Hleb - 2007

Thierry Henry

Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur. April 22, 2006

Henry came off the bench to rescue a point in the North London derby. It proved crucial in the race for fourth place; if Henry hadn't scored, Spurs would have reached the Champions League.

Alexander Hleb

Arsenal 2-1 Fulham. August 12, 2007

Would Arsenal be top - or even unbeaten - without Hleb's confidence-boosting stoppage-time winner on the opening day of the season? It turned a demoralising draw into a belief-building victory.

ONE THOUSAND GOALS
Our most beautiful Premier League goals?
Arsenal reached a notable milestone on Monday night when Emmanuel Adebayor's strike took the Club to 1,000 goals in the Premier League.
The 1,000th goal was typical Arsenal - quick passing, slick movement and a clinical finish. We've trawled through the archives to pick out 10 other beauties from Arsenal's years in the Premier League.

Ian Wright - 1993
Ian Wright - 1993

Ian Wright

Arsenal 2-0 Everton. August 28, 1993

Wrighty at his brilliant best. The striker latched onto a long goal-kick from Seaman, lifted the ball over two defenders and cushioned a perfect lob into the North Bank net.

Ian Wright

Swindon Town 0-4 Arsenal. December 27, 1993

Kevin Campbell scored a hat-trick but Wrighty stole the show in the last minute at the County Ground with an astonishing chip into the top corner from fully 40 yards.

Dennis Bergkamp - 1997
Nigel Winterburn - 1997

Dennis Bergkamp

Leicester City 3-3 Arsenal. August 27, 1997

Goal of the Season from the Player of the Year. A brilliant first touch to kill Platt's pass, quick feet to turn inside his marker and a cool finish to complete his hat-trick.

Nigel Winterburn

Chelsea 2-3 Arsenal. September 21, 1997

A rollercoaster of a game at Stamford Bridge looked destined for a draw when Winterburn picked up the ball 30 yards out and rifled an unstoppable drive into the top corner.

Kanu - 1999
Kanu - 1999

Kanu

Tottenham Hotspur 1-3 Arsenal. May 5, 1999

Kanu was tightly marked with his back to goal but a breathtaking piece of skill saw the Nigerian flick the ball up and over his opponent before ramming home a shot.

Kanu

Chelsea 2-3 Arsenal. October 23, 1999

The best comeback ever? Kanu, having scored twice already, chases down a loose ball and bewilders the keeper before finding the top corner from the acutest of angles.

Thierry Henry - 2000
Dennis Bergkamp - 2002

Thierry Henry

Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United. October 1, 2000

Marked by Neville, Henry collects a short free kick with his back to goal 25 yards out. In one movement he flicks the ball up, turns and volleys it into the top corner.

Dennis Bergkamp

Newcastle United 0-2 Arsenal. March 2, 2002

Another Bergkamp classic. He flicks a pass from Pires to one side of Dabizas and spins past his marker on the other side to collect the ball and apply a precise finish.

Robert Pires - 2004
Robin van Persie - 2006

Robert Pires

Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal. November 28, 2004

After a slow start to the season, Pires comes to life with a superb curling shot into the top corner to complete a vital comeback victory for Arsenal at Anfield.

Robin van Persie

Charlton Athletic 1-2 Arsenal. September 30, 2006

Van Persie races towards the edge of the box to meet Eboue's right-wing cross. He makes perfect contact with a flying volley to rocket the ball into the top corner.
