lehmann bley laaa blahh ... bagik ler peluang kat dia ntuk back to track ... (and arsenal too) ...
almunia ada ... fabianski ada ... keeper muda pong ader vito mannonne ngan wchojzeny ~
BERLIN (AFP) - Germany's goalkeeper Jens Lehmann said onFriday he will stay with English Premier League side Arsenal, eventhough he has lost his status as first-choice shot-stopper at the northLondon club. "I want to stay with Arsenal until the end of the season,"Lehmann told a press conference here head of Germany's Euro 2008qualifier against Cyprus in Hanover on Saturday.
"I have a responsibility with regard to my family and for my children, even if I were not to regain my place.
"I cannot just leave like that before the season ends," he added.
Lehmann will win his 50th cap against the Cypriots in ameaningless qualifier with Germany already through to next summer'sEuropean Championships and Cyprus unable to advance further.
The 38-year-old admitted he has received several offers from other clubs, without giving precise details.
But he again criticised Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who haschosen Spaniard Manuel Almunia instead of the German since mid-August.
"I believe a manager must be honest with his players," said Lehmann.
"During the two talks I had with him about my contractextension he gave me no indication of what he was going to do," saidLehmann, who has been with Arsenal since 2003.
"I would like to be in the head of my manager, but I cannotanswer your questions for him," he added in a far more diplomaticstance than his last outburst when he accused Wenger of "humiliating"him.
But Lehmann again disputed whether Almunia is better than him.
"There are situations where you find yourself behind a goalkeeper who is world-class and you have to accept that.
"But I am not in this situation," he added.

Hoyte - I'll knuckle down
Right-back determined to fight for his place
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11670_2891581,00.html
Arsenal's Justin Hoyte admits he is going through a tough time at present, but is fully prepared to 'knuckle down' to earn a place in The Gunners' starting XI.
Hoyte has found first-team appearances hard to come by this so far season following the signing of Bacary Sagna.
And since Sagna's arrival from Auxerre, the Frenchman has demonstrated many flawless displays during his 15 starts.
However, Hoyte has voiced his determination to stick with the North Londoners, and he is ready to take his chance should one present itself.
"Of course I want to stay at the club and fight," he told the club's official website.
"I want to be an Arsenal player. You never know what can happen in football but I know I am going to knuckle down, train hard, work hard and perform when I get my chance.
"It is tough at the moment because the team is doing so well and a few players are not getting into the team. It's up to us to take our chance if there is an injury.
"It is frustrating but I am a professional and need to behave that way and focus on the job in hand."

menimbulkan harapan palsu di hujung november...
Only the 'Invincibles' eclipse Wenger's new generation
http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?thisNav=News&article=484387&lid=NewsHeadline&Title=Only+the+%27Invincibles%27+eclipse+Wenger%27s+new+generation
Arsenal's start to the current season bears healthy comparison with each of the Club's last six title campaigns - with the honourable exception of the 'Invincibles'.
Only Ars鑞e Wenger's history makers of 2003/04 picked up more points in their first dozen games than the Frenchman's latest crop, and even then only one win and one goal separates the sides.
It's also worth noting that this season the Gunners have had to play two further European fixtures, and one more domestic cup fixture, compared to the 'Invincibles', yet still they remain unbeaten.
In their unbeaten league season, Wenger's charges had lost two Champions League games by this stage - against Inter Milan and Dynamo Kiev - and required a penalty shoot-out to dispose of Rotherham in the League Cup.
Wenger's first title season in 1997/98 is the only other year during his reign which has seen Arsenal remain unbeaten after 12 games. However, that side drew half of those Premier League games. Interestingly goals both for and against are the same now as then - 27 scored, 10 conceded.
Prior to Wenger's appointment in 1996, the last three title triumphs had come in 1970/71, 1988/89 and 1990/91. In the double year of 1970/71 Bertie Mee's team had lost twice, drawn four and had an inferior goal difference to that of the current team.
Similarly in 1988/89, with George Graham at the helm, Arsenal lost twice in their opening dozen games. In that year the Club were not in Europe but had played four domestic cup fixtures by this point. Indeed, the campaign which culminated with that famous night at Anfield is the only one in which Arsenal started at longer odds with the bookmakers. The Gunners were 16/1 for the title in August 1988; they were available at 12s 19 years later.
Two years after Anfield '89, the league trophy returned to North London thanks in part to a very strong start. After 12 games Arsenal had won eight and drawn four, and although they had scored only 20 goals they had conceded just five. The season would continue in the same vein. The Gunners lost only once, at Chelsea in February, and set a record of 23 clean sheets in a season..
kalola menang ngan blackburn dolu...

PENDAPAT STEVE BOULD (COACH YOUTH ARSENAL) TENTANG TRIP KE MALAYSIA
Looking at pre-season, what did you learn from taking the team to Malaysia for the Champions Youth Cup?
The trip to Malaysia wasn抰 fantastic. The conditions, the facilities and the pitches were all very poor. It was at the wrong time of the year and we got stuck inbetween pre-season and we missed a two-week period where we should have been doing other work and not competing in a tournament. It was a useful experience, with regard the players we played and the teams we faced, without a shadow of a doubt. But it was at the wrong time of year.
