Photos of script reading for KBS 2TV’s new drama ‘The Joseon Gunman’ have been released. The staff and cast members had a script reading at KBS in Yeouido before shooting begins. The participants included Lee Jun-ki, Nam Sang-mi, Jeon Hye-bin, Han Joo-wan, Choi Jae-sung, Yu Oh-seong, Choi Jong-won, Ahn Suk-hwan and Lee Min-woo.
Lee Jun-ki, the ‘Gunman’ shook hand with everyone in the practice room. He especially greeted Nam Sang-mi, whom he shot drama ‘Time Between Dog And Wolf’ 7 years ago.
Before reading the script, Lee jun-ki said, “I will spend summer with you all, my senior and junior actors. I think I am the only one who has to work hard after seeing everyone here. I will do my best and study a lot to be remembered as an actor who is a hard worker”.
When they began script reading, everyone focused on the script and their faces got red by practicing hard. Beads of sweat fell from Lee Jun-ki’s forehead.
When Lee Jun-ki was asked by a staff member to take a pose with Nam Sang-mi for a photo shot, he said, “I would have dressed up if I had new that”. They held the scripts and made the shape of V.
‘The Joseon Gunman’ is an action drama set in the age of enlightenment of Joseon. Park Yoon-kang is the last sword fighter in Joseon who becomes a heroic gunman. When script reading ends they will begin shooting in many places across South Korea for the drama to become a big hit. The first episode of ‘The Joseon Gunman’ will be aired on KBS 2TV on June 25th.

The first teaser poster for the KBS2 new Wed-Thurs mini-series "Joseon Gunman" has been revealed.
Anticipation is now high for the first broadcast of "Joseon Gunman" in around 3 weeks' time on 25 June. The production team said, "A gunman in the Joseon era is a unique concept, so there are many people who are curious about the story and image. In fact, we have been receiving many queries. With the release of this teaser poster, the veil will be steadily lifted."
The teaser poster is able to evoke many different kinds of imagination. As the son of Joseon's best swordsman Park Jin Han (played by Choi Jae Sung), what could have possibly made Park Yoon Kang, who carries on the family's line of swordsmen, abandon his sword for the gun? What kind of fate awaits him who wields a gun? A single poster alone is able to make one curious about many things. Especially so, as the teaser poster was designed by a team that has been credited with creating many hits with a unique feel in the movie industry recently, drumming up anticipation for the different kinds of images that will be revealed in the future.
Lee Joon Gi, who is returning to the small screen after almost a year, coupled with the age of revolution in Joseon as backdrop and an unprecedented hero with a gun, anticipation is higher than ever. He also takes on the challenge of transforming into a matured man with his acting in the title role of a gunman. The production team said that Lee Joon Gi's masculinity will be wonderfully seen in his appearance as a gunman.

'Joseon Gunman' releases poster for Lee Jun Ki's character
KBS 2TV's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Joseon Gunman' has released a poster for Lee Jun Ki!
Lee Jun Ki plays the leading role Park Yoon Kang in the drama. Because the drama is set in the time period where Korea was switching from swords to guns, he plays a famous swordsman who had to put his sword down and pick up a gun.
The poster staff said, "We were so surprised by Lee Jun Ki. Throughout the entire shoot, he wasn't stingy with bursting his manly charms as Park Yoon Kang."
