Bernard denies drugs or third party as reason for breakup with Meryll
From Bernard to Meryll: "I just wanna say thanks. Thanks for the memories, good and bad."

Although Bernard Palanca admits that he still loves his wife Meryll Soriano, he is still firm on the decision he has made. Bernard says about their separation, "It just can't be and I've accepted it already. I'm moving on already."

"Araw-araw kasi we would fight. Little things, useless things, parang nakakapagod lang," paglalahad ni Bernard.
Paliwanag ni Bernard, "Because we both tried e. We both tried to fix it naman e. Talagang kung may nangyaring problema, definitely, either she would fix it or I would try to fix it, parang ganoon. Even together, hindi na kaya e."
Panimulang pagsasaad ng TV actor, "Right now, I don't have a regular show, and she has. So she was working more than I was. She was working hard.
"Yeah, I understand...I know that it's supposed to be that梚f one is down, the other one helps梑ut it came to a point na parang I just... It made me feel already na...I felt useless, so I thought na parang, 慦hat's my worth?'"
Dagdag pa niya, hindi raw siya nakaramdaman ng suporta mula sa asawa. Sa halip na "helping me to lift up or stand up, or say na, 慔ey, you know, this is okay,'" ang nangyari ay tila mas hinihila siya pababa.
Ayon pa kay Bernard, "Normally, I wouldn't care about life, wala akong pakialam sa buhay. But I couldn't ignore this one. 'Yon na nga lang ang natira sa akin, e inapakan pa."
Ani Bernard, "You know, if it's not drugs, it's another girl. But it's not another girl e."
Nang tanungin kung may pag-asa pa bang maisalba ang kanilang relasyon, heto ang kasagutan ni Bernard: "If we're gonna talk about me and her reconciling as husband and wife, I've already made my decision and I stick to my decision."
Paliwanag ni Bernard, "I want the public to know na it's not bad, she's not crazy. There's medication na she's taking naman. She is under medication for it, and you know, so far she's in control of it naman."
"You know, honestly, when the baby comes out, I would be the happiest father on earth. And I will definitely be there for my baby, without a doubt," sabi ni Bernard.
At ang panghuling mensahe niya para kay Meryll: "I just wanna say thanks. Thanks for the memories梘ood and bad梑ut definitely I want you to know that there's no way in hell that I'm not going to be there for our baby."
