Arsenal vs Fulham Player Ratings
Arsenal definitely looked weary after their midweek endeavours as they drew 1-1 with Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal
Wojciech Szczesny - 6
Barely had a thing to do but helplessly watch the ball creep into his own goal.

Thomas Vermaelen - 7
Confusion in the Arsenal penalty box resulted in him hacking the ball past Szczesny. The Verminator did not lose heart, poping up in the Fulham penalty box to head in the equalizer from a Walcott's cross, making him the 31st player in Premier League history to score at both ends in a game.

Per Mertesacker (68' off) - 6
Had Arsenal's best chance of the game in the first-half but missed a simple header from a set-piece delivery. Defensively he looked unsure against aerial balls and allowed the Fulham players to win headers in dangerous positions.

Andre Santos - 7
Unlike Ashley Cole and Gael Clichy, Santos is probably the first of his kind because of his ability to cross balls from the wider positions and at the same time show off his Brazilian Samba when he has the ball. Was exciting once again, but just could not make that breakthrough for the Gunners.

Johan Djourou - 8.5
Could give Sagna a run for his money when he returns at the rate he is going. Dealt with Dempsey brilliantly on the right and almost scored from a header after a Van Persie corner.

Mikel Arteta - 6.5
Slowly fitting into this Arsenal outfit. His passes may not be as crisp, but his desire to win balls in the middle of the park is admirable.

Alex Song - 7.5
Dropped to centre half after the departure of Mertesacker but that did not deter him from making runs forward to grab an equalizer.

Andrei Arshavin (76' off) - 4
Was a fraction offside early in the game and the linesman's flag went up despite the cool finish. The hours spent on the bench must have had taken its toll on his confidence as he had a poor 75 mintues or so.

Aaron Ramsey (68' off) - 5
A frustrating game for the Welsh skipper who couldn't get his passes right all game, losing possession needlessly at times. He could have single handedly won it for the Gunners in the opening few minutes, but it was just not his day.

Theo Walcott - 8
Arsenal fan must be seeing Walcott in a new light with the quality of the crosses he whipped in from the right all game, setting up Vermaelen for that crucial equalizer. There is more to come from the England international if he keeps his feet on the ground.

Robin Van Persie - 7
Posseses the ability to set up others and give the Fulham defence all sorts of problems with his movement and skill with the ball. Unfortunate not to be on the scoresheet this time round as his effort was cleared off the line.

Substitutions
Gervinho (68' on) - 7
Made an immediate impact after coming from the bench to run at defenders but needs to work on his final ball and finishing.
Abou Diaby (68' on) - 6.5
Although he can keep the ball well, he was guilty of being too casual and dwelling on the ball for too long at times.
Marouane Chamakh (76' on)
N/A

Fulham
Mark Schwarzer - 8
Was called into action after Arsenal threatened to score from the kick-off, but his defenders got their act together and he did not have much to do till that reflex save from Djourou's header. Perhaps he is still dreaming of a move to the Emirates?

Brede Hangeland - 7
The giant centre back seemed to be winning all the aerial balls in the Arsenal penalty area and coped well with the waves of Arsenal attack after they grabbed their equalizer.

Philippe Senderos - 7.5
Up against his former team mates, minus his buddy who is now at Barcelona - he showed Wenger what a player he has become after making a few crucial interceptions to frustrate Arsenal.

John Arne Riise - 6.5
Probably only made one run down the left but his presence wrecked havoc in the Arsenal defence resulting in the goal. Back in his own half however, he struggled with the pace of Walcott, allowing crosses to come in from the left.

Chris Baird - 6.5
It was Baird to the rescue after a goal line intervention to deny Van Persie a goal in the second half or else it might have been all Arsenal thereafter.

Dickson Etuhu - 5.5
Was unfortunate to get a booking after a clean tackle that the referee deemed unfair, but he was chasing shadows most of the time anyway.

Danny Murphy - 7.5
Proved to his manager that he hasn't lost it and can still play for a few more seasons in this level. The skipper orchestrated the Fulham attack with his vision and pin point passing.

Bryan Ruiz (76' off) - 6
A rare start for Ruiz who had a decent work out against a fatigued Arsenal side. Should have covered more ground for the visitors to stretch the Arsenal midfield.

Clint Dempsey - 5.5
Unlike the last season, he seemed to have lost his goal scoring hunger and barely made those trademark late runs into the box.

Bobby Zamora (78' off) - 7.5
Showed great strength with the ball and was definitely a handful for Mertesacker and Vermaelen

Moussa Dembele - 6.5
Exciting to watch when he has the ball and worked hard to win possession and break the Arsenal play down.

Substitutions
Pajtim Kasami (76' on)
N/A

Andy Johnson (78' on)
N/A

Arsenal vs Man City Player Ratings

Arsenal's 1-0 defeat in their Carling Cup quarter-final with Manchester City.

Arsenal

Lukas Fabianski: 6
After being pushed out of the Arsenal spotlight by compatriot Wojciech Szczęsny , Fabianski has been stewing on the bench, but didn't do himself any favors by flapping needlessly for set-pieces once more.

Johan Djourou: 4
Wayward crossing from the Swiss, but then again, left-back isn't really his bread and butter position. Should have done better to track Aguero in City's counterattack that led to their decisive winner, but stood off instead when a sliding tackle could have made a difference.

Sebastian Squillaci: 6
Wasn't overly tested, and kept a firm line with Koscielny.

Laurent Koscielny: 7
Was left floundering by Johnson's pace often enough that it was a worry, but showed good anticipation to half any attempts at trickery by Aguero in the second half with well-timed sliding tackles.

Miquel (Off 78'): 6
A decent enough performance from the ex-Barcelona youngster, but he will need more games to find his feet. Looked exhausted when he came off the pitch.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Off 86'): 9
You can see why Arsene Wenger was so keen to bring the young Englishman over from Southampton, as Oxlade-Chamberlain always looked eager and penetrating, and never overwhelmed, despite the attentions from experienced stars like Nigel de Jong and Kolo Toure. Showed his confidence by hitting a wonderful shot that was arcing towards the top right hand corner, but for Pantilimon's interventions.

Emmanuel Frimpong:8
Very mature performance from the Arsenal youngster, who held his own in the centre of the park.

Francis Coquelin: 8
Always positive, and impressed the Emirates crowd with his work rate and willingness to charge forward, reminiscent of a certain Mathieu Flamini in his prime.

Yossi Benayoun:4
Gave the ball away needlessly on several occasions in the first half. Should have done better when Park threaded in a pass to the Israeli early in the second half to put him through, but missed the ball completely.

Park Chu-young (Off 67'): 4
Should have given Arsenal the lead as early as the 12th minute after being put through with a wonderful pass from Coquelin, but could only hit a scuffed shot that was saved by Pantillimon, who looked surprised to be let off so easily.

Marouane Chamakh: 4
This was his chance to try to cement his Arsenal spot after failing to impress this season, but he failed to do so, and spurned a late chance with an easy header to help Arsenal to an equaliser. Interestingly enough, Robin van Persie, who was seated with the Gunners on the bench, looked upset after Chamakh's miss- the Dutchman must have wished he was on the pitch instead of the Moroccan instead.

Subs

Gervinho (On 67'): 6
Wenger showed how much he wanted to beat the Citizens by throwing on Gervinho in the second half, but the striker just didn't have an outlet to pass the ball to in the Man City penalty box.

Thomas Vermaelen (On 79'): 6
Did well when he came on, but fell victim to an incisive City counter attack that left his side's Carling Cup hopes in tatters.

Andrei Arshavin (On 86'): 5
The muted reaction from the Arsenal fans when he came on was telling. Got a few shots off, but unable to make a difference to the end result.

Man City

Costel Pantilimon: 7
Called into action on several occasions throughout the game, and showed good concentration to deny Arsenal.

Nedum Onuoha: 6
Kept his position well and defended with gusto when called upon.

Stefan Savic: 6
Some good twists and turns from the new City recruit, and looks a promising prospect. Faded in the second half though.

Kolo Toure: 6
Looked a tad sentimental as he faced his old side, but gave no quarter throughout the game.

Pablo Zabaleta: 7
Overlapped with impunity in the first half, as his experience against the Arsenal right wing pairing of Coquelin and Djourou showed.

Adam Johnson: 8
Looked threatening early in the game, with strikes that showcased his powerful left foot. Left Koscielny for dead on several occasions, and continued in the same vein in the second half, and his swivel and turn in the second half to help his side in the lead was a sign of his new found maturity.

Nigel de Jong:7
Found himself having to cover more ground in the middle of the park with Hargreave's movement somewhat labored.

Samir Nasri:4
Booed on every occasion when the Frenchman got on the ball by the partisan Emirates crowd. Seemed to affect his game somewhat, with Nasri a pale shadow of his usual effervescent self.

Owen Hargreaves (Off 78'): 4
Didn't look completely at ease with the fleet-footed Arsenal midfield, whose movement left the Englishman grasping at straws on occasion, and he was left flummoxed by Frimpong on several occasions, which culmulated in a yellow card in the second half. Just couldn't seem to find any form, as he then proceeded to hit the ball into Row Z with a wayward shot in the second half.

Alexander Kolarov (Off 31'): 5
Clearly wasn't performing to manager Roberto Mancini's expectations, who yanked Kalarov off the pitch early in the first half. Apparently he was hampered with a mysterious injury during the warm-up.

Edin Dzeko: 6
Gave the ball away needlessly in the first half, and didn't make much of an impact, though not for want of effort. Did well in the second half to bring the ball out of defence to help his side to take the lead though.

Subs

Sergio Aguero (On 31'): 8
Immediately made life difficult for the Arsenal defenders after coming on, but was denied space by the Gunners, who were well aware of his threat. They were unable to keep him out for long though, and he finally broke the deadlock with a goal in the 84th minute to separate the sides.

Abdul Razak (On'78): 5
The ex-Crystal Palace youth star had impressed on his loan spell to Portsmouth, but was unable to make much of an impact after coming on.

Olympiacos vs Arsenal Player Ratings

Olympiacos' 3-1 victory over Arsenal sends them through into the final 16 of the Champions League.

Olympiacos

Balázs Megyeri - 6
Apart from that goal conceeded, Arsenal barely tested him and he was definitely the better of the three keepers that were on the pitch.

Avraam Papadopoulos - 6.5
A stroll in the park for the Greek defender who probably wished Robin Van Persie was playing instead of the predictable Chamakh.

Olof Mellberg - 7
Organized his defence well and he looked the most likely to score going forward. He even managed to clip the post after he got to the end of a corner.

Iván Marcano - 6
It seemed like it was going to be a one sided affair after watching Chamberlain's promising start to the game, but Olympiakos slowly starved Arsenal of the ball and Marcano emerged victorious.

Vasilis Torosidis - 6.5
Tackling Arshavin was like taking candy from a child. Tidy with possession and made the entire right flank his.

Giannis Maniatis - 6
A lively performance by the midfielder. But that's largely down to the lack of experience and quality in the Gunners midfield.

Francois Modesto - 7.5
A simple tap in for Modesto after the ball rebounded off the posts and fell straight to him. Else, he was one of the biggest threat on the night for his side.

Jose Holebas (39' off) - 6
Was taken off just before half-time after sustaining an ankle injury. Had little time to impress.

Kevin Mirallas - 7
Was unlucky not to have gotten on the scoresheet as he found the side-netting on several occasions

Rafik Djebbour - 7
Took the game to Arsenal and showed calm nerves to apply the finish after rounding Fabianski. Squillaci had a torrid time

David Fuster (64' off) - 6
Did not have the best of games by his standards, but did manage to get his name on the scoresheet after Mannone's early Christmas gift.

Substitutions

Pablo Orbaiz (39' on) - 6
Replaced the injured Holebas in the first-half and enjoyed a solid game in midfield.

Djamel Abadoun (64' on) - 6
Looked comfortable in midfield after coming on. Covered lots of ground in the short time he was on and frustrated the mediocre Arsenal midfielders.

Anastasios Papazoglou (90' on)
N/A

Arsenal

Lukasz Fabianski (25' off) - 2
Looked a ball of nerves during the early stages of the game and was conceded the opening goal. Taken off in the 25th minute due to an injury.

Thomas Vermaelen - 7
Once again Arsenal's most solid defender. Despite the waves of Greek attack, the Belgian stood firm.

Sebastien Squillaci - 6
A shaky performance by the former Sevilla defender. Another sign that his Arsenal future in the wane.

André Santos (51' off) - 6.5
Failed to exhibit his attacking prowess and was constantly found wanting by the Olympiakos attack.

Johan Djourou - 5
Deployed at his "usual" right-back position and looked surprisingly shaky against the tricky Greek attack. It was as though we were watching a totally different Djourou from the previous match.

Emmanuel Frimpong - 6
Tenacious in midfield but was simply overwhelmed by the Greek midfield.

Francis Coquelin (67' off) - 6
The French youngster had a decent game but was eventually taken off in the 67th minute.

Andrei Arshavin - 3
He showed signs of brilliance in the first-half but faded away for the rest of the match.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - 6.5
Showed some energetic runs down the right flanks but was easily dealt with by the Greek defence. His crosses were decent and doesn't get outmuscled by his opponent easily.

Yossi Benayoun - 7
Scored a stunning goal with a volley and further staked his claim in the Arsenal first team. A good team player who is not afraid to work hard to win possession back for the team.

Marouane Chamakh - 3
Very ball-shy and did not pose a threat to the Olympiakos defence whatsoever. How can the manager call upon him in the absence of Van Persie?

Substitutions

Vito Mannone (25' on) - 4
The two keepers blew their chance to make it into the first team with such disastrous performance between the posts. His ball handling looked very uneasy,  Szczesny the

Ignasi Miquel (51' on) - 6
Brought on for Santos early in the second half and looked promising. After watching his performances in the Carling cup, he could turn out to be a decent player with more game time under his belt.

Tomas Rosicky (67' on) - 6
Was brought on to inject some life into the Gunners but did little of that.

Arsenal vs Everton Player Ratings
The Barclays Premier League’s top scorer stole the show once again as Arsenal managed a narrow 1-0 victory against Everton.

Arsenal
Wojciech Szczęsny - 6
He hardly broke a sweat and was probably playing with his towel and water bottle when no one was looking.

Laurent Koscielny - 7
He would be pleased with the prolonged run in the first team and his consistency over the past few weeks.

Per Mertesacker - 7
Formed a good partnership with Koscielny and it is comforting for all Arsenal fans to see that there is some sort of communication going on at the back.

Thomas Vermaelen (82' off) - 7
Arsenal now has four natural central defenders playing at the back due to injuries. The aggressive, ball-winning defender looked comfortable out wide but Arsene Wenger must be sweating on his left-back selection for the next game after he seemed to have picked up a knock.

Johan Djourou - 6.5
Without any natural wing-backs in the team, Arsenal desperately lacked support in the wider areas - something both Djourou and Vermaelen failed to provide.

Mikel Arteta - 7.5
A nostalgic game against his former mates, Arteta would have been pleased his side emerged victorious in this encounter. Did not need to run much in the game to exert an influence, due to his skillful long ranged passes.

Alex Song - 8
Not normally known for his passing nor assists, but he can add his pin-point pass to Van Persie to his collection of "match-winning contributions."

Gervinho (82' off) - 7.5
The man of the match of the first half for sure. Slowly becoming the complete striker but needs to be clinical in his finishing.

Theo Walcott (90' off) - 7.5
He was initially the selfish winger who took a shot every chance he could, but he has been crossing too much of late.

Aaron Ramsey - 7
Keeping the likes of Arshavin and Rosicky benched with his creativity and tireless runs.

Robin Van Persie - 8
Anyone who witnessed his first-time volley nestle into the bottom corner will all agree he is a gifted footballer. "RVP FC" is slowly but surely climbing up the table.

Substitutions
Ignasi Miquel (82' on)
N/A
Tomas Rosicky (82' on)
N/A
Emmanuel Frimpong (90' on)
N/A

Everton
Tim Howard - 6.5
Arsenal have not failed to score at home since March 1987 when playing against Everton, and today was no exception. No keeper in the world could have saved that thunderous volley from Van Persie.

John Heitinga - 6
Did well alongside Jagielka, diving into tackles and breaking up Arsenal's play.

Phil Jagielka - 6.5
Probably Everton's best performer in this match. If Van Persie had not taken that shot first time, Jagielka would have probably closed him down and the visitors could have left the Emirates with a point.

Leighton Baines - 5.5
Couldn't match the pace of Walcott and had a gruesome day in the office. Even when he went forward, Walcott was present to help Djourou out.

Tony Hibbert - 6
His goal-line clearance gave Arsenal that uneasy feeling that this might not be their day, despite the Gunners having majority of the ball possession. Right until that moment of magic from Van Persie.

Marouane Fellaini - 5
Failed to cut an authoritative figure in midfield and the massive difference in height was of no use as the Arsenal midfielders ran circles around him.

Phil Neville (76' off) - 5.5
Was deployed in midfield instead of the usual back four and did not have the legs to keep up with the young and energetic Arsenal midfielder.

Tim Cahill - 5
Known for his aerial prowess, Cahill was kept on a tight leash and barely had anything to work with thanks to Mertesacker the giant.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov (76' off) - 5.5
Had a promising start to the game but showed poor mental strength and seemed to lose all hope after that Van Persie strike.

Seamus Coleman - 5
Seamus who? Largely disappointing performance from him as all he did was give away fouls and free-kicks all over the pitch.

Louis Saha (64' off) - 5.5
Tamed by Mertesacker and Koscielny for virtually the whole time he was on. Tried to move into space but there was just no breakthrough for the French forward.

Substitutions
Sylvain Distin (64' on) - 5
The tactical change by David Moyes that failed miserably.
Magaye Gueye (76' on)
N/A
Conor McAleny (76' on)
N/A

Aston Villa vs Arsenal Player Ratings
A rare set piece goal from Arsenal separated the two sides as they scraped a 2-1 victory at Villa Park

Aston Villa
Brad Guzan - 6.5
Beaten by a penalty and a free header. Tough luck Guzan.

Richard Dunne - 7.5
An outstanding performance from him, blocking shots and making important challenges to keep the scoreline respectable.

Carlos Cuellar - 5.5
Villa should have stuck to the usual Dunne-Collins pair as this man desperately needed his defensive partner to clean up his mess.

Stephen Warnock - 6
Had a challenging game with the likes of Walcott and Gervinho paying him a visit every few minutes.

Alan Hutton - 5
A free header in stoppage time could have ended the game with the spoils shared, but he stole the show for the wrong reasons, collecting an unnecessary second yellow.

Ciaran Clark - 6
What was he thinking when he grabbed Walcott in the penalty box, leaving the referee no choice but to point to the spot.

Stiliyan Petrov - 6
Just another average game for the Villa skipper who sat in front of his back four hacking away everything that came his way.

Charles N'Zogbia - 7
Trying to fill the void left behind by Downing and Young and tormented Coquelin with his trickery and pace.

Marc Albrighton - 7.5
Hard work followed by an interception and a cool finish capped the 20,000th Premier League goal. The crosses he whipped in from the wide areas looked dangerous all game but there was no Darren Bent at the end of the cross to put it in the back of the net.

Stephen Ireland - 5.5
Inches away from grabbing the equalizer but that was his only contribution to the game before he hobbled off the pitch with an injury just before the break.

Gabriel Agbonlahor - 6
He looked more like a docile animal running around when he should have given the Arsenal defenders problems with his pace and power.

Substitutions
Barry Bannan (44' on) - 6
Almost scored with his first touch of the game, but his free-kick brushed the top of the net.
Nathan Delfouneso (88' on) -
N/A

Arsenal
Wojciech Szczesny - 6.5
An assured figure between the posts but some casual defending cost him his clean sheet bonus for this game.

Laurent Koscielny - 7
Probably the best defender in an Arsenal jersey as he seemed to be the only one with a sense of urgency at the back.

Per Mertesacker - 6
Despite the short header from the stand in left back, there was barely an effort to stop Albrighton in his tracks leaving him clear on goal.

Thomas Vermaelen - 5.5
An uncharacteristic defensive error from the Belgian defender resulted in a Villa goal. Playing at the full back position is definitely not his thing.

Francis Coquelin - 5
What was on Arsene Wenger's mind when he deployed a midfielder at right back? He was repeatedly exposed, but somehow managed to get away with it.

Mikel Arteta - 6.5
Had two responsibilities in the game - hold the ball and spread play. Both of which he carried out effectually.

Emmanuel Frimpong (66' off) - 5
His appearance merely reiterated the importance of Alex Song in the holding role. Nothing too fancy in Frimpong's play but he still has plenty of time to learn the ropes.

Aaron Ramsey (81' off) - 6
Despite being the national team's skipper, the young man has much to learn. However, Arsenal have him to thank after his last ditch tackle on Agbonlahor, keeping the score at 0-0.

Gervinho (81' off) - 6
The confused winger was mostly in his own half defending against the dangerous Albrighton instead of causing problems further up the pitch, something he wasn't very good at either.

Theo Walcott - 7
A classy turn from his marker earned his team a penalty which was converted by Van Persie. Could have had a goal for himself moments later but Guzan got in his way.

Robin Van Persie - 7
The goal scoring machine was at it again, hammering home his 34th goal this year! With the assists and his overall work ethic, Arsenal are just one injury away from crashing further down the table.

Substitutions
Tomas Rosicky (66' on) - 6.5
Has the ability to control the game from midfield and perfect Arsenal's passing movement when they were going forward.

Yossi Benayoun (81' on) - 7
What a bizarre way to go into the festive period. A goal from a corner and the on-loan winger scoring the match winner for Arsenal?

Andrei Arshavin (81' on)

Arsenal vs Wolves Player Ratings

Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was in fine form on Tuesday as his heroics helped his side to a 1-1 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

The Gunners went ahead after just eight minutes when Gervinho raced onto a clever through-ball by Yossi Benayoun, before rounding Hennessey and slotting the ball into an unguarded net.

However, Wolves hit back seven minutes before the break, when Steven Fletcher showed excellent reflexes to nod Stephen Hunt's deflected shot into the bottom corner, beyond the reach of Wojciech Szczesny.

Wolves were reduced to ten men fifteen minutes from time when Nenad Milijas received a straight red, but Arsenal failed to find a way past Hennessey despite a plethora of gilt-edged chances, and had to settle for a point.

Here, we take a look at the performances of the players who took to the field at the Emirates.

Arsenal
Wojciech Szczesny - 6.5
Could do little to keep out Fletcher's equaliser, and was a virtual spectator for the majority of the game.

Johan Djourou (off 85') - 7
Made a number of enterprising runs early on in the game. Plenty of endeavour, although his proficiency at right-back still needs a little fine-tuning. Abandoned his defensive duties on a number of occasions, but when he was tested at the back, he did well to keep Matt Jarvis at bay.

Per Mertesacker - 6.5
Decent game from the towering German. Seems strange that he's often ridiculed for his lack of ball-playing ability as he looked quite confident when bringing the ball out from defence.

Laurent Koscielny - 7.5
All-action display from the French defender, who was never afraid to charge forward to create an extra option in attack. Was solid at the back as well, and is starting to establish himself as a firm favourite amongst the Arsenal faithful.

Thomas Vermaelen - 7
The Belgian defender was one of Arsenal's best players in the first half, bombing down the left flank with regularity and whipping in a number of dangerous crosses. Undid his good work in the second half by letting his temper get the better of him, picking up a yellow card for dissent, and didn't look the same player after.

Alex Song (off 71') - 7
Like Vermaelen, Song was excellent in the opening 45, providing an excellent shield in front of his back four, biting in with a number of sharp challenges too, and giving the Wolves players no time on the ball.
However, he was lucky to stay on the pitch after two dangerous challenges on Fletcher and Hunt, and was immediately hauled off by Arsene Wenger.

Mikel Arteta - 6
Disappointing game from the Spaniard. Was tidy with his passing, but should have offered plenty more going forward, especially considering he was arguably the most creative of Arsenal's central midfield trio.

Tomas Rosicky - 8
Vindicated Wenger's decision to play him ahead of Aaron Ramsey, playing a key role in most of Arsenal's attacks. Rosicky virtually lodged himself in the middle of the park, switching play to the wings and played a couple of delightful balls over the top, which Robin van Persie failed to capitalise on.

Yossi Benayoun (off 63') - 7.5
Given the nod after the late withdrawal of Theo Walcott through illness, and made an instant impact when he played Gervinho in for Arsenal's opener.
Showed plenty of energy, regularly hurrying Stephen Ward into giving the ball away, and it was a surprise to see him hauled off just after the hour mark.

Gervinho - 8.5
Arsenal's best player of the match, Gervinho put his pace and dribbling skills to excellent use, constantly gliding past players effortlessly, before looking to play his team-mates in on goal.
Timed his run to perfection in the 8th minute, before calmly cutting past Hennessey and tapping home, and once Gervinho improves on his final delivery, he could go on the become one of the most damaging forwards in the game.

Robin van Persie - 5
Arsenal's talismanic captain looked strangely off-colour against Wolves, missing a glut of opportunities. Twice he struggled to control glorious through balls over the top, allowing his opponents time to crowd him out.
RVP also should have done better when the ball found its way to him after Hennessey had kept out Mertesacker's header in the 67th minute. Instead, he failed to hit the target with only a couple of bodies between him and an unguarded net.
Subs

Andrei Arshavin (on 63') - 7.5
The Russian put in one of his best performances in an Arsenal shirt in recent memory. Brought on just after the hour mark and actively looked to carve open the Wolves defence at every opportunity.
Came agonisingly close to scoring when his snap shot curled just past the post with Hennessey rooted to the spot. The only effort that managed to beat the Wolves custodian for the whole of the second half.

Aaron Ramsey (on 71') - 7
Steady display from the Wales captain. Didn't misplace a single pass, and linked up well with his team-mates.

Marouane Chamakh (on 85') - N/A
Brought on by Wenger as a last-ditch attempt to get a goal, but his only significant contribution was getting in the way of Van Persie when both were challenging for a header, leading to a painful couple of minutes for both Gunners.

Wolves
Wayne Hennessey - 9.5
The recent round of Barclays Premier League fixtures has seen the recurring theme of top sides being denied by an inspired goalkeeping display. On Monday, both Chelsea and Liverpool were held to draws following outstanding performances by Fulham's David Stockdale and Blackburn's Jason Bunn respectively.
And on Tuesday, Arsenal were the latest to fall victim to this trend, when Hennessey virtually kept out everything the Gunners threw at him. The Welsh international could do little to keep out Gervinho's opener, when his defence left him completely exposed.
However, he recovered from that early setback, and made several world-class saves to deny goalbound efforts from Van Persie, Mertesacker and Vermaelen, some from point-blank range.

Ronald Zubar (off 50') - 7.5
Strong display from the Frenchman, who was impossible to contain in the first half with his speed and physicality. Showed good bravery on a number of occasions, sacrificing life and limb to win the ball for his side.
Unsurprisingly, his efforts took its toll and he eventually limped off five minutes after the restart.

Roger Johnson - 8.5
The former Birmingham stopper was extremely lucky to stay on the field after bringing Van Persie down then the Dutchman was steaming through on goal.
However, he took advantage of that reprieve and was an immense presence at the back for Wolves. Made a number of key interceptions on the ground, and was unbeatable in the air.

Christophe Berra - 6.5
Nearly resorted to illegal means to keep Van Persie quiet, putting his hands all over the Arsenal captain. However, his opponent left the Emirates pitch with no goals to his name, and Berra will feel it was a job well done.

Stephen Ward - 5.5
Terrible display from Ward, who seemed to be oblivious to the fact that Benayoun had him in his sights. Had a number of clearances charged down early on, but failed to learn his lesson and continued to give possession away throughout the game.

Anthony Forde (off 71') - 6.5
The highly-rated 18-year-old failed to see much of the ball, but he was impressive on the few opportunities he had. Showed no fear when on the ball, running straight at the experienced Vermaelen, and displayed a good array of skills.

Karl Henry - 7.5
Terrible first half from the defensive midfielder, losing possession right on the edge of his own box, which Arsenal failed to capitalise on, to Wolves' relief.
More than made up for his mistakes in the second half though, when he twice raced into his own box to put in diving interceptions. Had it not been for his intervention, the ball would have found its way to an Arsenal player, and the Gunners might just have scored.

Nenad Milijas - 6
Played a number of nice through balls in the first half, and will feel slightly aggrieved to have been sent off after a lunging challenge on Arteta. In all fairness, players are aware of the risk they take when they dive in with their studs up, and the referee was well within his rights to show the Serbian his marching orders.

Matt Jarvis - 7
The England international was engaged in an enthralling battle with Djourou for much of the better, and got the better of the Arsenal right-back on a couple of occasions.
Failed to get into the game in the second half though.

Stephen Hunt (off 86') - 6
Fairly anonymous performance from Hunt, who's capable of better.

Steven Fletcher - 7
Brilliant reaction to nod home Hunt's deflected shot and divert it into the bottom corner, beyond the reach of Szczesny. Didn't have much to feed on throughout the game, but wasn't disheartened, and regularly tracked back to help out in midfield.

Subs
Richard Stearman (on 50') - 8
Came on after Zubar limped off with an injury and put in an immense display at the back.
Won his fair share of aerial challenges, and was always the fast to charge out and put in a block when the ball fell to an Arsenal player on the edge of the area.

Adlene Guedioura (on 71') - 5
Twenty minutes is more than enough time to get into the game, so the Algerian international has no excuses for his woeful performance.
Failed to track his opponent down, and was sloppy in possession. Even managed to pick up a yellow when he caught Mertesacker with his arm in an aerial challenge.

Kevin Doyle (on 86') - N/A
Brought on late in the game with minimal time to make an impact.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dia dijangka menyarung jersi No. 12.

Kaki kirinya amat luar biasa." - AGENSI

Fuham vs Arsenal Player Ratings
ESPNSTAR.com takes a look at how the players performed in Fulham's come-from-behind 2-1 victory against Arsenal at Craven Cottage.

Fulham
David Stockdale - 8
Was left stranded by Laurent Koscielny's header for Arsenal's opener but he made an absolutely brilliant double save to deny both Aaron Ramsey and Gervinho from what looked like near-certain goals. Impressed immensely with his composure and ability to deal with crosses.

Stephen Kelly - 7
The former Tottenham defender put in a sold shift at right-back for Fulham, impressing with his stout defending although his attacking instincts were often curtailed due to the threats possessed by Gervinho.

John Arne Riise - 9
The former Liverpool man turned back the clock with an imperious display against the Gunners. Having been expected to struggle badly against the pace of Theo Walcott, he kept the latter in his pocket during the entire match and strode forward superbly time and again to deliver some pin point crosses. It was no surprise that most of Fulham's offensive forays were launched from left-back.

Brede Hangeland - 8
The towering Norwegian recovered after a slightly shaky start to marshal his defence admirably in the face of some intense Arsenal pressure. Kept a cool head and was soon mopping up nearly everything the Gunners threw at him.

Philippe Senderos - 7.5
The Swiss defender had a very successful outing against his former employers, defending tenaciously alongside Hangeland at the heart of the Fulham defence. He nearly capped off a memorable evening by equalizing for his side when he rose highest to meet a Danny Murphy free kick but his header flew just over the bar.

Steve Sidwell - 8
Struggled at times to cope with the interplay and guile of Ramsey and Gervinho but he never gave up the chase and kept plugging away. His effort and industry was rewarded when he leveled matters for the home outfit by nodding home from a Senderos flick on.

Danny Murphy (Off 68') - 7.5
Served as the hub for nearly all of Fulham's defensive and attacking forays and Murphy chipped in with a typical skipper display, covering every blade of grass on the pitch until an injury forced him off midway through the second half. His set-piece deliveries were magnificent and Arsenal struggled to deal with his pin-point crosses.

Clint Dempsey - 7
The American did not have one of his most finest games ever, but his persistence and industry made him a constant menace to the Arsenal backline. Never giving the Arsenal defenders a moment's peace, he chase and harried them at every opportunity and linked up well with the Fulham attack.

Bryan Ruiz - 8
The Costa Rican has been accused at times this season of not giving his all in matches but he certainly put in a tremendous shift against the Gunners. He combined beautifully at times with the likes of Bobby Zamora and Mousa Dembele and was unlucky not to score himself in the first half when he shrugged off three defenders and powered into the box before seeing his effort whistle just wide.

Bobby Zamora - 9
Was virtually the fulcrum of all Fulham attacks and terrorized the Gunners with his unpredictability, hard graft and intelligent running. Showed fantastic technique to steer a long ball right into the bottom right hand corner to hand Fulham all three points. Fulham would be mad to offload him in the January transfer window now.

Mousa Dembele - 9
The Belgian was quite sublime at times, dropping in from deep to collect the ball before spraying passes around the park with nonchalant ease. However, his imperious ball control skills and ability to pick a pass posed problems for the Gunners all night long. Fulham certainly have a gem of a player in their hands.

Substitutes
Kerim Frei (On 68') - 7
Although the Swiss starlet entered the fray with slightly over twenty minutes left, he displayed a bag of tricks and ran at the Gunners' defence every time he received the ball. Definitely one of the most hottest young prospects in the Premier League.

Arsenal
Wojciech Szczesny - 6.5
The Polish custodian actually had a decent game but chose to press the self-destruct button in the closing stages of the encounter when he flapped badly at the resulting Fulham corner and Sidwell pounced to head home from close range. Things were to get worst though for Arsenal and Szczesny had no answer to Zamora's sweetly struck winner.

Per Mertesacker - 6
It definitely has to be a worry for Arsenal fans if a pint-sized Dempsey is able to rise above the towering Mertesacker but that was precisely what happened. Shorn of pace, the German was expected to gobble up all the aerial balls but he struggled badly against the likes of Dempsey and Zamora. How much more time is needed before the German giant adjusts to life in the Premier League?

Laurent Koscielny - 7
The Frenchman showed great predatory instincts when he guided home a great header to draw first blood for Arsenal but was part of the Arsenal defence that was caught ball watching that resulted in Fulham's equalizer. Nevertheless, he definitely had a better outing than his German defensive partner Mertesacker.

Johan Djourou - 7
The Swiss international actually had a pretty decent outing against the Cottagers but his second bookable offence saw the Gunners crumble and Fulham duly took advantage.

Mikel Arteta - 6.5
The Spaniard lasted the entire ninety minutes but it's hard to actually remember a moment in the match when the midfielder actually made a telling contribution. Was a rather anonymous figure in the London derby.

Theo Walcott (Off 65') -4.5
An absolutely shambolic display by the winger. Supposed to terrorize the living daylights out of the ageing Riise with his searing pace and skills, Walcott found himself usurped by the left-back all evening. His crossing was nothing short of abysmal, with some of his crosses failing to even clear the first man. Wenger had enough of his rubbish and hauled him off midway through the second half.

Aaron Ramsey (Off 81') - 8
The Welshman was the architect of the deflected cross that allowed Koscielny to score the opener for Arsenal and threatened Fulham all night with his vision and neat distribution. Also saw a powerful effort saved by the alert Stockdale.

Alex Song - 7
The midfielder held his position well and allowed the likes of Arteta and Ramsey to push forward to support the Arsenal attack. However, Song found himself overwhelmed especially after the sending off of Djourou and his side were eventually punished.

Francis Coquelin - 8
Perhaps the only real Arsenal player to have emerged from the match with real credit. The Frenchman, who was playing out of position at left-back, struggled initially but slowly grew into the role, bombing forward at every opportunity and making some vital interceptions.

Robin Van Persie - 6.5
A rather subdued display by the Dutchman who was tightly marked by both Senderos and Hangeland whenever he received the ball. Perhaps the recent deluge of fixtures also took its toll on the Arsenal skipper.

Gervinho (Off 74') - 7.5
Was a key component of Arsenal's attacking triumvirate in the first half and caused the Fulham rearguard problems with his direct running and link-up play with his teammates. However, he faded away slightly in the second half.

Substitutes
Tomas Rosicky (On 65') - 6
Was hardly able to stem the rising Fulham tide following the red card to Djourou and struggled to get to grips with the game.

Yossi Benayoun (On 74') - 5.5
Had too little time to make any real contribution in the match.

Sebastien Squillaci (On 81') - 5
Even though he was on the pitch for only nine minutes, he demonstrated his awful defensive capabilities. His poor headed clearance straight into the penalty box resulted in Zamora slamming home the winner. Made his first appearance in the Premier League and this is likely to be his last as well.
