Honestly, pada Chic lagi senang maintain kayu flooring dari ceramic or marble. Chic ni penggeli, tak suka meleket2. And kengkadang tu ceramic flooring over time the gaps darkens coz of the trapped dirt kala tak maintain properly. Chic very particular about these things.My girl iktu macam I. Masa pegi tengok rumah,  flooring ceramic dia mintak dukung. Letak dia bawah jalan terjengkit2 menangis. So far, my house yang ini dah 6 tahun, the whole house parquet except kitchen, still looks brand new....

Itu memang you have to be careful. I must admit, memang ada scratches here and there because of the kids playing with their toys. The only way to rectify that problem is you have to call contractor grind the surface and touch up. But if that is what you're worried about then you can choose laminated flooring instead. It comes in many different shades and colours and its scratch proof and you can easily wipe off ink stains and what have you off the surface....I'm thinking of that for the new house...:ah:

tapi ade juga some contractor kata tak bagus pakai laminate pasal kosong lah n mcm, tapi i suka pade kayu pasal kalau pakai batu sejuk

Yup memang. That's the main reason why I chose timber flooring. Jalan on laminate flooring macam very creaky, macam jalan rumah kampung papan nipis...susah nak describe. Tapi easier to maintain kalau ada budak2.

we learnt from experience...some time back i bought a cabinet yang ada cermin kat bilik.according to the salesgirl...ini solid kayu.i paid about $700.
once in awhile my wife,will take a damp cloth to wipe the surface.(clean up once a year waktu nak hari raya) aiyohhh......dia punya surface macam kena jerawat...ni compressed wood lupa nya.

Yeah you won't have that problem if its solid. Cuma yang Chic perasan my teak furniture, kadang2 keluar macam mould putih2 gitu. Kena rajin polish dengan ubat dia...

marble sejuk ah...   tak bleh baring2...

parquet tido satu malam sampai pagi takde alas pun macam selesa gitu...
dah tu , main komputer kaki kat lantai berjam pun tak rasa apa2..
kalo batu, mesti kena alas kalo tak mesti tak tahan sejuk.

dulu rumah parents matz kat  top floor.....kalau hari sejok,nak mandi ayer macam ice box,punya lah sejok.kalau cuaca panas,mandi tengah hari ayer panas jugak.ada pro and con tinggal top floor.

flat tinggi2 ni,
jemur baju, kurang risau pasal rumah2 atas buang2 barang atau jemur baju tak perah... abis baju kita dah kering basah balik

dulu got this neighbour tak tau yang unit mana....pukul 12 lebih sampai 1 pagi dia orang still karaoke.....i want to sleep tak leh....i pergi turun naik
carik the source of noise tak jumpa pulak...bila nak tidor,kepala tarok kat bantal,i can feel the vibration.i sold my flat,partly becoz of this.

My experience pulak with killer litter. Diorang akan buang water bombs dan barang2 dari atas. 2 kali botol pepsi di isi air di buang ke bawah. Rumah Chic tingkat 2, and there is a covered pathway linking all the blocks in my area. So barang yang dibuang dari atas tu ada yang landing pat pavement ada yang landing pat the pathway punya roof. Bunyi punya kuat terperanjat2 kitorang. And there are so many dents on the roof. Imagine lah kalau kena kepala orang botol coke yang penuh tu, especially thrown from a high floor? :geram: Then ada satu hari tu diorang buang waterbomb filled with black coloured liquid nf:. Hari tu pulak Chic basuh kain baju putih. nf: Habis all my whites....Chic rasa yang suka buang2 barang tu the same person.

i dengar pun seram,kepala kalau kena botol ...... i dare not imagine.ni mesti call police,ni killer litter.my inlaw punya block ada malay family living on the second floor,there was once kejadian suicide.the person who died,the body
bawah tingkap dia orang.the family didn't come back home for a couple of days.dia orang takut.
kalau beli massionette jangan beli yang kat ground floor,nanti cleaner clear rubbish in the early morning...kacau your sleep.

Tapi, if you'd notice, yang banyak beli maisonette ground floor orang kita. Chic tengok pun macam best pulak. Ya lah macam pat kampung diorang buat. Tanam sayur lah tanam apa lah pat depan 'kebun' diorang tu...:bgrin:

kalo ko tahu unit mana, bleh ah repot polis kalo midnite, tapi kalo ko sendiri tak bleh trace unit mana yang buat bising tu, polis pun bleh buat apa....

most to most, dorang eksyen2 buat patrol kat blok ko... kalo jumpa alrite, kalo tak jumpa...nasib la...



pasal ni semua involve " internal " of flat, kalo benda ni selalu jadik, ko tarik HDB masuk campur.
Kalo HDB punya staff bleh track down noise nuisance punya source, bagus
tapi kadang2 problem korang tahu bunyi ketuk2 macam sheetmetal tak?

ni paling problem ah, konpem tak bleh trace...ko tahu ada satu rumah ketuk2 dari pagi sampai petang, tapi ko tak tahu rumah mana, bunyi dia tak kuat, tapi irritating...
Kalo unit by unit visit pun tak bleh trace, maybe HDB hantar formal letter kat seluruh blok, tapi ko ingat orang tu nak berenti ketuk ke?
most probably dia tengah buat sesuatu untuk business dia.

yang killer litter kat rumah ko tu, maybe just maybe, orang tu memang carik trouble ngan ko, suka tengok ko rasa boring , baju bersih semua kotor balik..
especially kalo baju kaler terang, dia bomb ngan black liquid...

ni ko ada hak inform either TC or HDB
zaman sekarang dorang dah advance, siap pasang kamera, kalo evidence dia serious case...dan kalo pepsi botol isi air penuh, kalo kena kepala, aku rasa mati kot..
