Negara mana jerrr yg jadi penyumbang besar FDI Temasek(atau ikut sifir political nuts M'sia, "Jual Negara"), mari kiterrr tengok.....
-------------------------
The stock of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Singapore amounted to $1,024.6 billion as at end 2014. United States ($153.0 billion), Japan ($109.3 billion), British Virgin Islands ($87.0 billion), Cayman Islands ($77.7 billion) and Netherlands ($69.5 billion) were the top five investor countries in Singapore.
http://www.singstat.gov.sg/educational-corner/faq-on-foreign-direct-investment
-----------------------

Dari structure ekonomi & policy2 ekonomi, dah kelihatan macam advanced economy,Sukuk/Bond Islamic finance kiterrr jadi penyelamat negara masa The FED Amerika buat Quantitative Easing 2013, taxation pun dah semakin advanced.....
Fundemental kiterrr dah boleh survive walaupun Ringgit dilanda taufan, masih boleh buat growth.
infrastructure-wise, kena lipat ganda kan pembangunan di Sabah Sarawak dulu, mentality religious tolerance 1st World mereka dah ada, cuma infra mereka jerrr 3rd World.....

susah nak jangka benda2 ni walaupun dah berapa banyak analisis yg keluar.....
tengok jer average GDP growth Greece period 2001–2007(4.11%), tahun 2008 dah negatif secara mengejut.
Ireland, Iceland pun tak pernah sangka mereka boleh recession sebelum krisis 2008.....
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ni belum masuk fasa Global Economic Crisis lagi yang biasa nya berlaku sekali dalam setiap 10 tahun.....
---------------------
http://www.straitstimes.com/opinion/slow-growth-is-here-to-stay
Growth below 2 per cent this year would be the slowest since the economy sank into negative territory seven years ago, at the height of the global financial crisis. It would also be the lowest in a year not immediately before or after a recession.
In fact, the services sector - which makes up two-thirds of the economy - is already in a technical recession, having shrunk for three consecutive quarters between January and September this year. If exports continue to decline, economists believe the whole economy may be in danger of a technical recession too.
To be sure, this is not Singapore's first slowdown, or even its worst. But it has already earned the dubious record of being its longest, with the end of the tunnel still far away. Never before has modern Singapore's economy grown below 5 per cent for five years in a row, as it has now since 2012.

kalau mereka nak pelancongan naik semula, SGD must be devaluated 20-30% from now
lagipun, inflasi mereka hampir 0%, devaluate sikit boleh menaikkan inflasi ke 2-3%... |

Think tank mereka lebih berat kepada solusi melobi pemerintahan baru Amerika untuk meneruskan plan TPPA...

I dont think dia berani reduce xchange rate, nanti harga barang naik sebab dia tak der material semua import secondly yg paling dia takut ialah company dia will swallowed by us, local funds tunggu jer nak telan kalau s$ rendah dah la valuation rendah, mmg kena telan punya. Kita is an export economy so cheaper currency better for export electronics, commodities, o&g even halal foods, financial services all will gain. Sekarang berbeza dgn 97 pasal us$ denominations loans tak der so tak der sell off in capital market , but singapore mmg in deep shit, oil n gas kantoi, financials kantoi currency strengthening lmbt lagi la nak recover...
