Oh please. Don't paint Atheism as such a great and wonderful belief. It has its own equal number (if not more) deaths than religious followers.
While it is true that many of the evil things Christians (and Muslims) had done in their name of religion had caused a large number of deaths, they were driven by their leaders in term of political disguises. Just read through any historical book and you could find that the first thing Politicians use (even today like with George Bush) is Religion. No moron could be more eager to fight than a moron who thinks God is quite incapable of taking care His own affairs and required some hillbilly to fight for Him.
However, atheism in my opinion are much worse than any religious followers. Military atheists like the Russians rejected God and - by their own free will - choose to fight for their own political beliefs. And in China, great Chinese atheist "god" Mao Ding Dong ... ahem ... Mao Zedong had killed tens of millions since 1950s (which is insignificant compared to the Rape of Nanking that came around half a million people. And let not forget that Atheism continued to fuel conflicts and further bloodshed even today. It was Atheist Chinese who provided weapons and supports to communists in South East Asia, continued to do so to Mynmar Junta Regime, the Iraqs, Pakistan and marched their people into Himalayan region. They also currently using the Islamic conflict in South East Asia to muscle their way in to the region.
Atheists are not such a peaceful folks like this ba$tard (atheist.1) like to potray them. They are Evil and unlike Christians and Muslims who are digging their own damnations by their own actions, atheists do not fear God nor damnation which makes them more dangerous than anything else.

So, God hasn't changed. The law hasn't changed. This means that if you were a true christian, you would have to stone your own child to death for disobedience (Deuteronomy 21:18-21) kill homosexuals (Leviticus 20:13), all in the name of the all-loving god.
