Lazada Malaysia, platform paling popular SE Asia

KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 — Lazada Malaysia has overtaken Lazada Singapore to become South-east Asia’s fastest-growing e-commerce platform in the past nine months.
Lazada Malaysia Chief Executive Officer, Hans-Peter Ressel, said Lazada Malaysia recorded over 100 per cent growth in sales for 2016.
“Malaysia’s e-commerce market is well-developed, as it is supported by the logistics facilities and the local and foreign courier companies,” he told reporters after launching Lazada Malaysia’s Fifth Birthday campaign here today.
He said the payment methods, such as cash on delivery and online payment facilities available in Malaysia, had made online shopping more convenient for Malaysian customers.
To date, about four million users had downloaded the Lazada Malaysia mobile application (app), with at least 10,000 users downloading the app and shopping on the platform on a weekly basis.
“We plan to triple the number of products that are sold on our platform to about 30 million by year-end, up from the current 10 million to 12 million products,” said Ressel.
He said the outlook for the company was positive, with the growth for 2017 to remain the same, or even accelerating further from the previous year.
Currently, the Lazada Group has its presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
In Malaysia, about 15,000 merchants conduct their online business via the platform.
“We signed a deal with SME Corp Malaysia last week to bring an additional 25,000 merchants in the couple of months until next year,” said Ressel.
He said the company had been investing heavily in data technology and automation to equip the online merchants with world-class logistics solutions, marketing tools, content management, as well as end-to-end e-commerce services.
On the collaboration between Lazada Malaysia and its major investor, China’s Alibaba Group, Ressel said, the group had assisted them in growing the business and tackling the e-commerce challenges.
On the digital free trade zone which is expected to launch tomorrow, he said, the Malaysian government was one of the most active and supportive governments in South-east Asian countries which endorsed its e-commerce players. — Bernama

Akak tak minat lelong, cam suck... barang mahal, nak order, kena delivery charge, nak bayar kena charge 3%.. last2 harga jadi mahal....tapi barang sampai dalam 3 hari...
Beli kat 11 street kena pakai coupon baru murah skit...
Beli lazada murah dan takder hidden cost.. cuma tak bleh beli banyak.. paling banyak boleh beli 2 barang sama jenis jer... beli lebih dari 2, dia reject or kansel your order... cuma lazada sampai lambat... |

Lazada menyakitkan hati. Ada bbrp kali beli. Ada 2 kejadian yg sakit hati. Iols share satu je kat sini
Kita order brg lain, tapi brg lain yg sampai. Option yg ada hanya refund, sistem nya tak distreamline supaya barang yg betul dihantar semula. Kita kena gi return barang tu, tunggu barang tu sampai ke lazada, dicheck verify bagai, after few days. Pastu masuk email kata duit kita sdg diproses utk refund. Kita diminta repurchase balik barang yg betul.
Tak kuasa haku. Brg beratus ringgit, kena begitu lak.
Bila complain mll customer service, jawapan semua jawapan mesin. Tak berganjak suruh repurchase balik. Tak de langsung option utk barang yg betul dihantar.

Akak tak laa sebodoh itu dik dok fikir lazada yg jual sendiri barang tersebut... lazada amik 5-8% komisen dari harga barang dari supplier jah....
Kot ko yg pikir camtuh dik... akak just tulis comparision yg lazada takder hidden charge macam lelong ajer... |

Yg nih akak setuju.... lazada sistem mmg menyakitkan hati...
Ada hari tuh akak beli barang sama ambik 5 unit sekaligus.... bila dah bayar.. lazada tulis laa dah process... esoknya bila bukak balik tengok order akak.. tetiba lazada kansel pembelian akak dan refund balik duit.... akak mengamuk laa kat customer servis, jawapan customer service mmg macam mesin komputer... sangat2 menyakitkan hati.... customer servis pertama tak abis2 mintak maaf sebagai jawapan.... call lagi, customer servis kedua.. cakap system ada masalah.... call lagi customer servis ketiga.. cakap apps akak ada masalah... call lagi customer servis keempat tak tau nak jawab apa.. cakap nak transfer pada manager... tunggu 15 minit dengar lagu.. akak letak...
Last2 call customer servis kelima akak terus mengamuk nak cakap dengan manager dia, dan dia janji manager dia nak call balik akak... tunggu punya tunggu.. esoknya tengok status pembelian akak, dia dah refund ke bank pembelian akak.. esoknya baru manager dia call akak.... dah malas dan takder mood nak tanya apa2 jawapan manager dia... nak beli dgn lazada tak bleh lebih dari 2 item... tuh jer jawapan dia... bodoh... |

Ada hari tuh akak beli barang sama ...
Situasi sy pun sama cam kaka... bbrp kali contact customer service dan setiap kali representatives yg lain.... jadi response macam new issue... itu yg tak selesai2 kluar jawapan sorry sorry sorry... tapi benda yg kita brought to their attention tak dijawab.
Sy drop juga questions kat fb page thru PM sbb sy bukan jenis suka 'create scene'. Pun jawapannya tak tackle issue sebenar. |

Alhamdulillah la setakat ni takde masalah beli brg kat lazada.. ada sekali salah brg dan stok habis..call customer service elok je dorg layan dan refund duit..so aku continue beli brg kat lazada..
lagi satu sapa2 pernah beli brg kat Shopee? adakah servisnya memuaskan? |
