Hmmmm ..... no evidence for 'splitting of the moon'?

Actually this event has been documented.

The incident relating to King Chakrawati Farmas is documented in an old manuscript in the India Office Library, London, which has reference number: Arabic, 2807, 152-173. It is quoted in the book “Muhammad Rasulullah,” by M. Hamidullah:

    “There is a very old tradition in Malabar, South-West Coast of India, that Chakrawati Farmas, one of their kings, had observed the splitting of the moon, the celebrated miracle of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) at Mecca, and learning on inquiry that there was a prediction of the coming of a Messenger of God from Arabia, he appointed his son as regent and set out to meet him. He embraced Islam at the hand of the Prophet, and when returning home, at the direction of the Prophet, died at the port of Zafar, Yemen, where the tomb of the “Indian king” was piously visited for many centuries.”

The old manuscript in the 'India Office Library' contains several other details about King Chakrawati Farmas and his travel.

I personally did ask for this via email. The following is what I received :

according to the catalogue (Loth 1044), is “A fabulous account of the
first settlement of the Muhammadans in Malabar, under King Shakruti
(Cranganore), a contemporary of Muhammad, who was converted to Islam by
the miracle of the division of the the moon.”

Isu skg , ada bukti berupa dokumen ttg saksi yg bulan terbelah

Muslim ada bukti , kapiaq macam ko hanya ada air liuk basi

Mana dia bukti ko yg manusia dari monyet , I mean bukti manusia <---- intermediate specie <---- monyet

Evidence of the moon having been split in two

You’ve already answered this question in August 2009 but I’d like to go into more detail. This website: http://www.mastikorner.com/forum ... hammad-p-b-u-h.html claims that Allah split the Moon in two at the request of the Prophet Mohammed and that there is a split on the Moon documented by American scientists that goes right around it which is evidence of the miracle. Is there any truth to any of these claims?

My recommendation is to not believe everything you read on the internet. Peer-reviewed papers are the only scientifically valid sources of information out there. No current scientific evidence reports that the Moon was split into two (or more) parts and then reassembled at any point in the past.

Kalo Allah dah boleh belah bulan pasal apa tak boleh cantum tanpa cacat cela?

Ye lah para saintis kata tak ada bukti belah bulan pasal ia terjadi 1400 thn lepas

BTW , jawapan saintis NASA tu adalah ttg the 'rilles' lines on the moon. Aku pon tak percaya yg tersebut adalah bukti bulan belah dua.

Actually this event has been documented.

and have used all the methods of search I know..to find this particular article… {Arabic, 2807, 152-173)….and even have tried to contact curator and Incharge via the emails regarding the authenticity of this article….

But so far I do not have any positive response..

….But this incident is quoted so many times…and at so many Web sites….its over whelming….. some one must have authentiated it…and validated it… Other wise… its on so many sites….it simply has become a established one…

and can any one help me validate it….?

….. I cannot simply dismiss it…neither can I accept it untill its validated…

So please help me on it…
