Just be honest and simple of who you are. It’s your own life and follow your heart not because you wanted to change for acceptance.

Humility is also a virtue as well and it should be something that you practice. If you are truly a good person you do not need others to praise you for it, your reward comes from inside and not from what others think or say. .

The act of being good and the sense of fulfillment that you get from doing the right thing should be the only reward that you need.
