KUALA LUMPUR: Barely 24 hours after their wedding announcement, Datuk Hans Isaac and fiancée Aileen Gabriella Robinson have had their happy occasion soured. A man, professing to be Robinson’s boyfriend, had said that Robinson had cheated on him.
A Facebook user by the name Robin Coenraad had expressed his disappointment in discovering that his girlfriend, Robinson, was tying the knot with the 45-year-old actor-producer. The post went up at 7.34pm yesterday.
“I never knew I was being cheated on for over a year until right now.”
“My ex, literally since yesterday, is apparently getting married and I found out through the news,” he wrote in a long post.
He also claimed that she had been two-timing him with Hans for over a year now, and that he had been blindsided by the news on the nuptials.
“She was proposed to just a month ago, while we were still together,” he wrote.
It didn’t take long for the post to go viral.
Hans must have seen it too since he responded to the allegations, levelled at Gabriella, via his Instagram and Twitter accounts at noon today.
He posted: “Very unfortunate that some guys can’t respect others on such a happy day for Gabby and me.
“When one has ended a relationship years ago and to damage the reputation for other (sic) on social media. When it’s also a day that important to gabby and me, is uncalled for.
“All I can say is that I feel sorry for this guy. He need (sic) a life. Kesian.”
Checks on Coenraad’s Facebook page showed that the post is still up at press time.
Despite the hiccup faced by the handsome couple, Hans didn’t let the rumour ruin his day. He thanked his fans and followers who have been supporting him all these years.
“I’m getting married guys. Be happy for Gabby and me. Salam sayang to all who support us and are spreading good vibes. We only want happiness and love with everyone around us.”
Hans and Robinson will be saying their “I dos” on July 29 at St. John’s Cathedral in Kuala Lumpur.
The two met when he became a judge for the Miss Tourism Malaysia in 2011, where Robinson was a contestant.
