PAS-led state govt lobbied for titles to be revoked, claims Amanah
KOTA BARU: Parti Amanah Negara believes that the PAS-led state government lobbied for the revocation of the Datukship titles bestowed upon its leaders.
This is because Kelantan State Secretary Datuk Mohd Faudzi Che Mamat wrote in the letters addressed to the affected parties that Sultan Muhammad V had “agreed” (bersetuju) to revoke the awards and titles.
Amanah leaders believe that the word “agreed” could be construed as agreeing to a proposal made by another party.
In the letters dated Feb 6, Mohd Faudzi informed Amanah vice-president Husam Musa and Kelantan Amanah chief Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Abdullah that the Sultan had agreed to the revocation of the awards and titles.
Wan Abdul Rahim said Amanah leaders suspected something was amiss as the State Secretariat suddenly informed them last Friday that their titles would be revoked. Both men received the official letters on Tuesday.
“But we did not hear a word from the palace officials. We are still in shock because we have not issued any statement undermining the royal institution.
“We have, as you know, been highly critical of the state government.
“Although no explanation was provided, we returned the titles and awards today (Wednesday) because we have high respect for the Ruler,” said Wan Abdul Rahim.
Amanah secretary-general Anuar Tahir said the party was baffled over the matter because as far as they knew, their party leaders in Kelantan did not say or do anything to offend the Palace.
In a joint statement, both Husam and Wan Abdul Rahim pledged their undivided loyalty to Sultan Muhammad V.
“The State Secretary informed us that Sultan Muhamnad V had agreed to revoke the awards effective Feb 6. We returned the awards and related appointment letters to Istana Balai Besar today, Feb 7,” said the statement.
Deputy Mentri Besar Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah said the state government had no final say in awarding or revoking titles.

aku percaya PASc terlibat dlm penarikan gelaran olh istana kelantan ni.... cuma yg jadi efek nya (isu..?)
ialah.. puak PAS akan berkata.. "ha..tgk ... Istana pun tk suka..mcmana nak jd MB...?"
puak AMANAH pulak berkata.. " tgk.. jahat nya PAS... "

aku dah ckp... dah speku dah kat thread satu lagi...tapi macai umngok buat2 ngok.tetiba buat naive psl kebusokan hati lobai pas klate .semua salah sultan katanya.dlm hal ni aku sokong husam |

Mmg itu lah tujuan lobai menarik balik darjat kebesaran tu sbb nak cakap bahawa sultan pon x suka mereka. Takde angin takde ribut tiba2 kena tarik. Mader pon kena tarik jugak. Kau rasa?? |

aku rasa baru sgt je aku baca psl tokoh PAS sendiri subky latif yg memuji husam sb membuat pembelaan terhadap negeri kelantan setelah najib dok ungkit2 apa dia BN dok bg kat kelantan...
pd hal husam bkn nya anggota kerajaan negeri kelantan......yg dok dlm anggota pentadbir kelantan dok terkelip2 ja..
selang sari dua... kena ambek gelaran la pulak si husam ni... |

Aku rasa sultan kelantan tarik balik pasal depa ni lantang mengkritik pentadbiran kerajaan negeri. Bg soltan, hg kritik kerajaan negeri seolah2 kritik dia jgk. |
