Watch: M'sian driver assaulted in road rage incident on Tuas Second Link

KUALA LUMPUR: A road rage incident on the Tuas Second Link has rattled motorists in both Malaysia and Singapore.

In a viral video uploaded to the Facebook page of Singaporean news portal STOMP, two men in a Singapore-registered Audi are seen alighting from their vehicle, flinging open the doors of a Malaysia-registered Hyundai and physically attacking its driver.

The incident near the Tuas Checkpoint on July 12 was captured by the dashcam of a nearby vehicle.

According to an eyewitness and owner of the dashcam, the violent altercation was triggered after a bus had broken down in the first lane near the checkpoint.
"As a gracious driver, the white Hyundai Starex driver signalled to indicate a lane change.
“Most cars in the second lane practised the '1-in-1-out' rule to allow cars in the first lane to merge and overtake the bus – except for the blue Audi," she said.
The video shows the Audi refusing to let the Hyundai switch lanes.

"The unfortunate incident did not stop there. The Audi driver and his passenger then stepped out of their car and started to physically attack the Hyundai driver.

“It was unfortunate that the Hyundai driver did not lock his doors," she told STOMP.

It is learnt that the despite being assaulted, the Hyundai driver declined to seek redress and did not make a police report.
According to the eyewitness, the driver "was in a rush and seemed reluctant to pursue the matter. He also wanted to avoid trouble, as he frequently enters SG-JB."CLICK HERE for the article

kena pukul Singaporean motorists taknak pulak ambil tindakan undang-undang. aku rasa kalau dua orang dalam Audi tu Malaysians, gerenti dah kena saman sampai tinggal spender.
