Kids love their homemade games right! A fancy makeshift frog game made out of nothing but a custom cereal box always gets most kids interested. This game will be imitating both a frog’s jumping and disappearing act and also how they catch their prey with big open mouths and leaping insects out of thin air.
Cereal boxes are large, providing enough real estate for various customizations. Creating a frog game out of them is just another one making them reusable and also very versatile at the same time. You will need high-quality crafting skills along with a few other add-ons to complete the task.

This homemade frog game can keep kids as well as adults interested. Imagine a party at your home and then you have a few frog games spread around for added entertainment. This kid special idea only requires Mini Boxes of Cereal or Post Cereal Boxes with just a few other household items.
Top quality Cereal Box Packaging from top end suppliers comes with durable materials in various thickness grades. This will add more strength and long lasting capabilities to your frog game. Make sure to use boxes from high-end Custom Cereal Box Maker or check for material durability yourself. Ideally, you’d want materials that are largely tearing proof and will not come off when bent or scored as well.
Here’s our guide to help you create a usable makeshift homemade frog game out of pretty much an empty Cereal box Packaging:

You Will Need:
You will need to following items. Most of these will be available at most households, if not, get them from a neighbor or purchase them from a superstore:
• An empty large sized cereal box made from thick durable materials with removed inner films or foils if anywhere applied
• A pencil and pair scissors to make round cutouts with a flat line on top and cut them out precisely
• Different colored markers to write scores on each hole to count your dunks and declare a winner
You will need the following to make a scoop to chuck in those chocolate balls:
• Some chocolate balls (cereal balls or chocolate topped round balls from any other food recipe)
• A plastic spoon with some 4 to 5-inch wooden stripes that are not too thin holding up to a small amount of pressure without breaking apart
• Pair of rubber bands with some clear plastic tape to be wrapped around your chocolate ball scoop
• A bottle of glue with a thin opening mouth making it possible to drop glue in shape of small drops
• A fully round cylinder of cardboard materials (usually medicine packaging serves best or you can get one from the market)

How It’s Made:
First, you will need to make the chocolate ball-landing pad using your cereal box:
• Lay down your empty large Cereal Box on a flat surface and cover it with a green color wrapping paper. This is optional and will only make your frog game look better portraying the color of a frog. You can even have a frog drawn paper to make it even more interesting
• Use the pencil to draw different sizes circles with the minimum one about an inch in diameter and the biggest one 2-3 inches in diameter.
• Be sure to draw precise circles leaving out their top half a quarter flat for scoring and folding and cut the circles out without removing them fully and only to the flat edges that you left
• Bend and score the circles standing them up to about 90 degrees in angle for the balls to land on the sides and slide down the holes perfectly
• Use your various colored markers to write numbers on these holes with smaller ones having a larger number and larger ones having smaller numbers. These will award points based on the holes chocolate balls go in. Your frog game box is ready.
Now you will need to make a ball-shooting scoop. You can leave this one if you want to shoot balls using your hand but kids love to shoot chocolate balls with scoops. Here’s how that can be made:
• Lay down two wooden stripes flat on a flat surface and apply a drop of glue on each of them right along the center using your glue tube or bottle that has a thin opening. You’ll need to have small drops that don’t fall out causing smudges or get other things attached on the sides
• Lay out another wooden stripe running right along the centers of other two stripes on top of the glue dots and let them stick together for a little while
• Get you plastic small spoon and join another wooden stripe with it using that clear tape. The stripe should only run to the neck of your spoon and the clear tape can run along the top and bottom ends being taped strongly without letting the joint move at all
• Now, get on that hard shell of the cylinder that you picked up and cut its lid off perfectly using your scissors. Also, cut the separated lid across its center making two half circles
• Apply one-half of the circles along the spoon and strip with the other half going on your three wooden stripe structure along the one centered stripe’s top end
• At this point, you can add a bit of color or paint to these if preferred to make the whole game look more attractive
• Place the two half circles on top of each other with the topside being that of the spoon and strip joint. The top half circle should rest a bit behind the bottom half circle with the spoon head facing opposite from you
• Tie the end connecting the spoon and stripe joint with the three stripe structure with your two rubber bands and make them as tight as your prefer your ball-shooting scoop to work.

It’s all done; your ball-shooting scoop is ready. Place those tiny balls of chocolate in the spoon and shoot away with the cereal box made landing pad placed at a shooting range. The Custom Cereal Box Maker who made the box in the first place would never have guessed you planned this application of it as well. We hope you win at the game scoring as many points as possible.
