Lelaki berusia 50 tahun ditahan dalam kejadian serangan dipercayai bermotifkan Islamofobia di Stanwell, Surrey.


Menurut laporan The Sun, kejadian berlaku di kawasan tempat letak kereta di pasar raya besar Tesco berhampiran Lapangan Terbang Heathrow.








Menurut polis, suspek dikatakan melaungkan kata-kata "bunuh semua Muslim" ketika menyerang seorang remaja di taman berkenaan.


Difahamkan, kes dikategorikan sebagai percubaan membunuh sebelum polis menyiasatnya sebagai kes serangan pengganas.


Kejadian ini berlaku selepas tragedi berdarah yang meragut 50 nyawa di Christchurch, New Zealand.


Polis Surrey menerima panggilan kecemasan jam 10.30 malam pada Jumaat selepas penduduk setempat melihat seorang lelaki memegang kayu pemukul besbol dan pisau bertindak agresif sambil menjerit kata-kata berunsur perkauman sebelum seorang remaja ditikam.


Menurut laporan, lelaki itu mendekati sekumpulan anak muda di kawasan letak kereta Tesco dan bertanya salah seorang daripadanya; "Kamu ingin mati? Kamu akan mati" sebelum menyerangnya dengan sebilah pisau.

Lagi.... UTRECHT : Satu kejadian tembakan rambang berlaku di dalam sebuah tram di Utrecht, Belanda pada petang Isnin. Menurut laporan agensi berita antarabangsa, beberapa orang disahkan mengalami kecederaan dan polis anti-pengganas telah dihantar bagi menangani keadaan dengan segera. Laporan itu turut menyebut, kawasan itu kini telah dikepung bagi mengesan penembak berkenaan.

Harris and Klebold committed suicide by shooting themselves in the head in the school library.

"A Dark Night in Aurora"

On July20, 2012, a mass shooting occurred inside a Century 16 movie theater in Aurora,Colorado, during a a midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises. Dressed in tactical clothing, James Eaagan Holmes set off tear gas grenades and shot into the audience with multiple firearms. Twelve people were killed and seventy others were injured, 58 of them from gunfire.

Holmes was arrested in his car outside the cinema minutes later. He had earlier rigged his apartment with homemade explosives and incendiary devices, which were defused by the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad a day after the shooting.

The shooting prompted an increasein security at movie theaters across the U.S. that were screening the samefilm, in fear of copycat crimes.

It led to a spike in gun sales in Colorado and political debates about gun control in theUnited States.

One law enforcement official said his hair was dyed red and he called himself The Joker, the Batman villain played by Heath Ledger in 2008's 'The Dark Knight.'

Holmes confessed to the shooting but pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. Arapahoe County prosecutorssought the death penalty for Holmes.

The trial began on April 27, 2015. On July 16, he was convicted of 24 counts of first-degree murder, 140counts of attempted first-degree murder, and one count of possessing explosives. On August 7, he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. On August 26, he was given twelve life sentence, one for every person he killed; he also received, 18 years for the attempted murders of those he wounded and for rigging his apartment with explosives.

Misteri kehilangan Mohd Haziq Mohd Tarmizi susulan serangan pengganas terhadap dua masjid di Christchurch, New Zealand, Jumaat lalu terungkai apabila remaja itu disahkan maut.

Bagaimanapun, butiran lanjut mengenai masa dan lokasi penemuan mayat Mohd Haziq akan dimaklumkan selepas maklumat lanjut mengenainya diterima nanti.

Haziq adalah anak kedua Mohd Tarmizi Shuib, 42, rakyat Malaysia yang parah dalam serangan di Masjid Al Noor.

Ketika kejadian Tarmizi bersama dua anaknya, Mohd Haris, 12, dan Haziq hadir untuk menunaikan solat Jumaat di masjid itu. Mohd Haris terselamat tetapi trauma manakala bapa mereka parah ditembak.

Insiden serangan di dua masjid di Christchurch, New Zealand itu mengorbankan 50 individu serta mencederakan puluhan yang lain, termasuk tiga rakyat Malaysia, pada jam 1.40 tengah hari (waktu tempatan), Jumaat lalu.

Selain Mohd Tarmizi dari Alor Setar, Kedah, dua lagi rakyat Malaysia yang tercedera akibat serangan itu ialah Rahimi Ahmad, 39, dari Kampung Binja, Bayan Lepas di sini dan Mohd Nazri Hisham Omar, 46, dari Shah Alam, Selangor.

Ketiga-tiga mereka kini menerima rawatan di Hospital Christchurch, New Zealand.

Semalam, polis New Zealand dalam kenyataan di Facebook berkata, setakat ini 12 mangsa terbunuh sudah dikenal pasti.

“Kita sedar kekecewaan keluarga mangsa berhubung tempoh panjang dalam proses pengesahan identiti mangsa serangan Jumaat lalu, namun kami berusaha mempercepatkan proses.

“Mungkin proses mengenal pasti mangsa kelihatan mudah, namun ia lebih kompleks, terutama membabitkan situasi seperti ini,” kata kenyataan itu.

my thought was that it was a shame that these terrorists weren't killed.but i gave it some thought, and now i'm glad that they will face a fair trial.

our society is based on the idea of liberty and justice for all.the fact that the rule of law and due process will still be upheld even for this absolute monster.

the fact that free democracies can deal with this without compromising on its principles even a single bit, the fact that they will rot in a hole for the rest of their lives and watch our world becoming more equal, more just, and more free by the day <<<<albeit with many obstacles makes me very satisfied.
