When I look at the sky I never lose the awe
These mesmerizing tiny brilliance scattered across this night sky
Carrying me to my first childhood gaze always
Everytime the LLN lights fails and we all gather outside on our fields
Lying back on my palms gazing
Such a magical moment
And in front of me
A dome of black spreadsheet of countless twinkling diamonds
All for me all for my eyes to see
Stars..
The ornaments of the boundless expanse of perpetuity
Immense and gargantuan and burning and violent
But timeless and peerless in their beauty
How lucky am I to exist to see

Blue and orange and red and green
These stars they
Colour the emptiness in me

One thousand brilliant stars punched holes in my consciousness, pricking me with longing. I could stare at the stars for hours, their infinite number and depth pulling me into a part of myself that I ignored during the day..
Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light..I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night. Yours is the light by which my spirit's born: - you are my sun, my moon, and all my stars..
