I have some experience in this. The last company I worked for taught me a lot and gave me a lot of experience. The most important thing, in this case, is to find understanding with the client. You need to talk to customers so that the conversation is more meaningful. Don't turn the call into a monologue with yourself. You talk about the client's problems, and they don't listen to you. Ask questions, and have a conversation, it will bring you closer to understanding that the call was not in vain.
