Penang records 2 new Covid-19 cases; 'green' state path halted

GEORGE TOWN: Penang was just three days away from being the next green state. However the 11 days of no Covid-19 cases record halted after two new cases were recorded today.
The two new cases were recorded at Mukim 16 of Seberang Perai Utara district.
The source of the infection is still being investigated.
State Health committee chairman Dr Norlela Ariffin said the new cases does not have past records of close contacts with previously infected patients.
"They are also not linked to the Sri Petaling tabligh cluster," she added.
Cumulatively, there are 121 cases in the state but only eight are active at the moment.
Seberang Perai Selatan on the mainland and the northeast district on the island were the only 'green' districts in the state.
Death toll in Penang remains one to date.

Tak tahu sumber dari mana ni yg bikin pening kepala.. dari pasar borong ke ni..aduii
Takkan covid taktau. Cuba call cousin covid mana-mana strain yg ada tu. |

Sebab tu I risau walaupun kes harian berkurang, kita taktau kes kes tersembunyi ni. China sekarang pun dah serabut balik. Singapore mendadak naik kes. |
