In contrast, our country's prevention and control capabilities are still very strong, and we are very lucky. The United States is really worrying, what are they doing?

As of today, Tuesday, May 26, hair salons, barber shops and places of worship can open.

Yesss!!! untung dok USA :-)

Governor Newsom made an update on this in the last 24 hours.

“The guidelines include distancing measures, including limits on the number of people attending a service, and protocols for disinfecting and cleaning, such as additional hand sanitizer stations and rules around regularly cleaning microphones and other shared items.

The state is calling for limiting attendance to 100 people or 25 percent of the building's capacity, whichever is lower. That limit stays in effect for 21 days after the house of worship reopens, then conditions will be reviewed by health officials.”

Pelik pelik mindset pn ni. Dulu awal awal covid compre dengan italy yg paling teruk ketika itu. Now compare dengan us yg paling teruk gak.

Tunggu n lihat jer. Kerajaan PN akan buat benda sama soon. Bila banyak tour related business closing down, how many people loss job and income and how much its impacting our tax revenue. For now we have 6 month moratorium. So impact kepada banking xnampak lagi. Lepas 6 bulan nanti nampaklah berapa ramai individu & business yg xmampu service debt mereka.

Iol share berita dari jepun semalam.

It's an announcement that sounds almost too good to be true.

But under a bold tourism plan to lure visitors back to Japan, the government has launched a new campaign that will help offset travel costs for visiting tourists.

According to The Japan Times, Hiroshi Tabata, the head of the Japan Tourism Agency, said the $19.51 billion plan hopes to attract foreigners by offering to subsidise half of their travel expenses.

While little detail of the programme has been announced, the government says it could be in place as early as July (despite travel bans to Japan still in place).

The announcement follows Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe lifting the state of emergency in Tokyo and four other areas where it was still in place.

Abe said the lifting of the state of emergency did not mean the pandemic was over but was in response to the country's success in battling the coronavirus. To date, the country of 126 million people has had only 16,433 infections and 784 deaths.

Japan was at the centre of one of the first big outbreaks outside China, when the coronavirus swept through the Diamond Princess cruise ship.

A total of 3711 passengers and crew members were trapped on board as the virus spread quickly. When the Diamond Princess arrived into Yokohama on February 3, 2666 passengers – including 1281 Japanese nationals – and 1045 crew members were aboard. Of them, 705 had the virus.

Just last month, Sicily, south of Italy, opened a similar programme to lure visitors back to the island.

The offers, first reported by The Times, will be available on the island's tourism website.

Essentially, for every three nights you stay at a hotel, they will cover one of them, along with museum and archaeological entry tickets.

The government will use 50 million ($89 million) to fund the scheme, with losses of 1 billion ($1.78 billion) reported from March and April.

Would rather malaysia ni look into taiwan instead kof singapore. They did very well. Well prepared after sars.

The rest tu a bit sceptical la. I dont think vietnam or kemboja punya numbers affected are correct. So testing may not be widely done.  But again i might be wrong.

But still taiwan have seen the best results thus far in my book.
