What's the matter with Jackie?

NATIONAL hammer throw champ Jackie Wong now holds a Covid-19 record that will be hard to beat, and no one will want to beat it.
He tested positive for the coronavirus on March 16, and after 70 days, he is still warded at the Sibu Hospital in Sarawak.
And athletics officials could not throw light on what is happening to the hammer thrower.
Jackie's virus test is still positive after so many days and that is baffling.
According to the World Health Organisation, the median time from onset to clinical recovery for mild cases is approximately two weeks and three to six weeks for patients with severe or critical disease.
"It's baffling and disheartening to hear that Jackie is still warded at the Sibu Hospital and that he had returned positive for all the tests done since March.
"Today one more test will be done and I pray that it turns out to be negative," said Malaysian Athletics Federation (MAF) president Datuk S.M. Muthu yesterday.
Jackie has broken the national hammer record an astounding 18 times, with the latest being last year at the Malaysian Closed Athletics Championships when he hurled 68.22m.
The only "good news", said Muthu is that Jackie is in healthy condition and he trains regularly at his ward.
"I have seen videos of Jackie training at his room in the hospital and he is healthy. But every time a test is done, it returns positive.
"It must be a harrowing experience for him and his family members as it has been more than two months now," said Muthu.
On March 16, Jackie wrote on his FB: "I was tested positive for Covid-19 at 1am. So far I am in good health and quarantined at the Sibu Hospital."
The National Sports Council had tested 48 officials, athletes and coaches who came into contact with Jackie before he got the virus. All 48 people tested negative.
"All the other national athletes, except for Jackie, are healthy.
"It's a pity that he has to be in isolation for so long," said Muthu. |

Jadi mcm ni yang buat i risau betul dgn spesies2 tak pandai duduk rumah dan sibuk nak menempel kat orang konon2 nak bersilaturahim....
Kena kuarantin 2 minggu pun boleh stress, inikan pula sampai 1,2 atau entah berapa lama....

Ada seseorang yang iols kenal kena covid masa march hari tu..
Nak hampir tamat tempoh kuarantin..dia didiagnos ada anxiety disorder..siap sawan lagi..

kesiannye.agaknya lama sgt duduk hospital terasing mcm2 dia fikir.
husband iols lepas kuarantin 14 baru site visit sehari kat tmp keje esoknye bos call suh buat swab test sbb ade bdk kat tmpt keje saspek +ve. terus mlm tu call iols sedih2 fikir macam2 risau. dah la result semgu baru dapat. semlm dpt result -ve, harini ceria dah dpt pergi kerja.
mmg blh dpt depression la kalau tak kuat. |

Lama nye 70 hari. Memang boleh stress. Puak2 degil duduk rumah seminggu pun tak boleh, asyik nak merayap je. Ada tu guna alasan keluar beli groceries tiap2 hari. Dasar kaki rayap

DG ada explain maybe yg positif tu weak positif means virus taka yg tinggal bodies virus je but PCR still detect tu as posiyif. & virus tu tu dah menjangkiti or low pun. |
