RATIONALE OF REWARDS CATEGORIES
1)Top scorer in 10Q Interval
Top scorer in any competition will always be compensated by any organisers
2)Top 10 in 10Q Interval
To encourage competitiveness
3)FCA for each Question
FCA is very difficult to get as the competitor has to be alert and keeping tabs on the Quiz. Those who compete for FCA are always at the very top edge of competitiveness. As the question is relatively easy and google-able for the 20+, this means that the 30+ extra for FCA is rewarded squarely for the race and scramble to become the first.
4)FWA for each question
It is hard work to become the first to answer a Question, so if its wrong, it is rewarded (+15) for being the first to try for an FCA
5)MCA for each 10Q Interval
To encourage learning via reading the Quiz properly and carry out appropriate search (or use own knowledge) to get the correct answers. The more MCAs, the more likelihood that the competitor has read the Quiz and consider its answer(s)
6)Best Sequence of Correct Answers
As a reward for trying to be consistent in giving correct answers and to do it carefully (1 wrong destroys the continuity of a string of correct attempts); better sequence is likely to reveal who actually has read the Quiz properly and considers the answers properly, or who familiarity with medical knowledge
7)Best Sequence of FCAs
Even to get one FWA is hard, let alone an FCA; even more so is to get 2 FCAs, and worse still is to get 2 in a sequence. A sequence of FCA therefore will always be rewarded
8)Golden Spot in Overall (Cummulative) List
The hallmark of competitiveness and consistency, and most importantly persistency.
Top 20 in Overall List is shown as a reward to their consistency and to keep trying
The Golden Spot is only attainable by being persistent (ha ha ie degil, and keep going eventho takde mood) and will be heavily rewarded
NB: a potential new category is being considered: best sequence of First To Attempt / Answer (FTA). This is to reward those who get 'FWAs only'; technically 'FWAs Only' actually 'got there first', cuma they got the answers wrong; they have waited and have tried for an FCA, so this shows a great degree of competitiveness. The sequence will count any FCA in a string of FWAs Only (eg FWA,FCA,FWA = FTA of 3). I will discuss with SuperMods yang memantau Board Kesihatan; however, I welcome forumers' opinion. I propose 40+.

Some tips for scoring:
1) as FCA carries very high marks, try to compete for these (even if you got it wrong it is still 15+)
2) FCA is so point-heavy that it is worth to just answered blindly as long as you get there first (ha ha thus preventing others or confusing them, for the correct answers, jahat sikit, but this is competing in essence)
3) try not to miss any Qs
4) read questions carefully
5) if googling, the simpler websites that give the answers are usually the correct ones
6) if googling, identify a ''keyword(s)'' in the question (eg ''...bila bacteria mula membiak didalam darah, ini..''; the keyword is bacteria growing in blood, if u google these, yg kuar is ''bacteria sepsis'', if you google on that, what will come out first is ''bacteria sepsis (septicaemia)''.. ini membawa kepada info yg boleh bantu questions tadi
7) gut-feeling is usually correct |
