Duit lesap dari CIMB (Update: Dapat semula pada 25 Jan 2021)

Hi,
Tak sure betul ke tak i buka thread kat sini but i nak tanya pendapat forumers sekalian.
Semalam i received sms notification bagitau debit card CIMB i kena charged RM399.90 sebanyak 5 kali without asking me for the TAC. I immediately called bank but too late.. RM2,000 da lesap dari account i..
CIMB kata they all akan investigate and kalau confirmed fraud case, baru duit i akan dipulangkan.. They advised me buat police report to expedite the process but still akan ambil masa up to 45 working days to investigate..
So now i tak sure what else to do.. Should i report to BNM too? Or PIDM? I will call Apple Malaysia to see if they can help to investigate too..  |

no 68833 ni...scammer...aritu dpt msj dr no ni..kata nk terminate a/c aku....kalo x nk..kena isi beberapa info kat link yg drng bg....aku x berapa nk percaya...terus pi bnk..tanya..drng bgtau..tu bkn bnk drng punya..tu scammer...jgn klik...dan abaikan msj tu. |

Mcm legit je..ade purchase apa2 dr apple thru installment ke? Yg dia terus direct debit ur card? Maybe ade org pakai kad u ke? Kena siasat ni

Masa called bank tu dia terus cancelled debit card and disable cimb clicks so now still tak boleh check.. Monday ni baru nak pegi bank untuk apply card baru..
Memang banyak 2k tu, sedih i kalau memang tak bole dapat balik.. |

Sebab nampak sms tu la i cepat2 call bank.. Menggeletar juga tangan sebab tak pernah kena macam ni.. |

Da called customer service CIMB, dia siap bagitau berapa balance dalam account.. Sedih gila bila dengar.. Dia kata memang ada transactions tu and advised i lodge police report and call directly to apple malaysia.. |

banyak cara u boleh kena :
> skim card : yang ni orang pasang device kt atm machine captura your bank card data
> online : u shopping guna debit card nanti dia boleh akses card u, biasa kt online ada jual, hacker hack shopping cart cm shopee , lazada atau paypal atau pun online banking
kalau rasa nak selamat just tukar kad baru cimb, matikan semua auto payment dan keluarkan duit masuk bank lain. rasa tu lebih selamat. ataupun duit sorok kat bank yang xde akses online internet.
lagi satu elakkan guna public wifi, even ofis wifi pun kaka xgalakkan , baik pakai direct lan kabel. |

Kalau ikutkan memang legit but the problem is i memang takda account dengan apple.. Phone pun guna huawei je.. That's why bank kata they all akan investigate.. If memang transactions tu i punya, memang i takkan dapat balik duit tu.. |

Hari tu masa ada news lazada ada data breach, memang i da removed semua payment details.. Kat shopee pun memang tak save.. Yang ada kat grab and google play.. Semalam bank tu pun ada tanya pasal google so i just cakap i memang ada save card number untuk google play..
Rasa frustrated gila sekarang.. Da la account ni i guna untuk salary juga.. Memang da rasa tak secure and maybe akan tukar ke bank lain..
Thanks sis, i memang fobia nak shopping online da lepas ni.. |

So far i memang dapat sms dari nombor ni untuk CIMB transaction.. Sms tak pernah delete so bole confirm yang ni bukan scam.. |

Debit kad mmg bahaya n mostly bank dont eager to assist. Unlike cc..
Pls report again cc to telelink bnm utk make sure cimb bt kje. Cimb antara bank pemalas kaka pnh jmp.. Xeffisyen n caca merba
Dpt job byk byk pon mula dr zmn jibby ja.b4 this all goes to mbb or pbb for their efficiency |

Setiap kali i buat online transaction cimb, mmg dapat dari nombor 68833 tu beritahu ada pengeluaran dari akaun cimb ke mana2. So far ok xde masalah apa pun. |

I pernah kena exactly like this 2 years ago... but on my citibank cc... I dapat msg noti charge at apple for rm199 on my card and dalam noti tu bgtau suspect fraud charges... I terus check online my transaction history berderet dekat 15x charge total beribu... dia buat tu 15 charges at the same time tapi msg yg keluar kat fon satu je... mmg melompat I call citibank to cancel the card and cancel the fraud charges... alhamdulillah kes cepat settle and citi terus hantar kad baru... I tak buat polis report sebab citi terus proceed untuk cancel the charges... dalam seminggu jugak la untuk dia restore balik to original credit... anxiety jugak I masa tu sebab 1st time kena and alhamdulillah itu one and only time...
my advice, next time nak bayar guna kad and tekan pin number, make sure u betul2 hide your hand gesture from the cashier... lantak la nampak macam mengada2 nak tutup but I learned my lesson... I suspect I kena sebab the day before I beli barang and I tak hide masa tekan pin atas meja sebab konon tak nak nampak awkward... stupid me... and to be safer pakai wave je...

I think this happened to my ex colleague before.. Some more transaction dia dalam usd.. I guess credit card still okay kot, mine ni debit card so tak tau la bole dapat balik ke tak.. Sedih.. |
