Dulu ada special articles on Yoga in NST newspaper oleh seseorang bername Florence (lupa nama penuh). Sekali sekala, ada jumpa article tentang Yoga di STAR newspaper juga.

Setahu saya, banyak juga tempat ada Yoga Class ini.

hi sam n other frens,
saya baru kat sini,dok cari2 pasl yoga.Saya memang nak share my truly xperienced!
kalau sapa2 dok pikir nak join ke tak,saya nasihatkan cubala try..
Actually saya pun baru,nearly two years,sebelum ni tak tahu menahu tapi dsebabkan rumah i dekat dgn gym n ada yoga pulak tu,so tunggu apa lagi.Bila dah start i dah rasa sayang kalau tak practise.Selalunya saya buat 4 atu 5 x seminggu.Dari Gentle yoga for beginners sekarang dah pegi Power yoga.You can feel your body aching lepas tu masa baru2 sebeb stretching,tapi lepas tu memng best,yang I paling suka,I lost weight!!Badan pun flexible.This is the best exercise for me.I memng banyak lagi nak share,tapi sekarang kena pegi dulu.I will write some more..

lebih kurang la.. I rasa you mesti dah ada terbaca atau terlihat dlm magazine kan,badan kita kalau selalu buat stretching,dia akan lembut dan yogi yang berpengalaman(selalunya pure dari India) dia orang memang boleh meliulk lentuk,bak kata you tadi.You pun minat ke?Try lah.
Yoga dalam bahasa sanskrit ialah "UNION" penyatuan Mind,Body and Soul.Tapi jangan salah anggap,ia bukanlah keagamaan.ianya juga untuk kesejahteraan badan luar dan dalam.Sesetengah posture(gerakkan badan) ada fungsi yg tertentu seperti mengaktifkan tyroid gland dan sbgainya.
Berkenaan dgn pemakanan pula,jika mengikut yoga yang tulin,disarankan vegetarian kerana badan kita akan menjadi lembut ada dlm teori,tapi tak semua org kene ikut,I telan semua!
banyak lagi yg boleh dikongsi,kalau ada masa,I akan tulis lagi.

hai Julie,
Dah jumpa tempat yoga?Anyway u kat area mana?I dekat damansara,memng banyak kat sini.tapi i advise you cari yg yogi dari India,bcoz technic dia different tau,maklumla kat sana dari kecik lagi practise bende ni.Pilates and yoga is different for me,other people may said otherwise,but I've tried both,I lagi suka yoga,kalau boleh nak jadi cikgu yoga nanti,cheewah.yogashakti penah dengar,tapi I rasa true fitness best jugak,kat sri hartamas

mmmm hehehe I tak braper minat yoga ni coz agak contra ngn citarasa I... I lebih prefer ngn tai chi dan senaman tua... it gives me the feel of how my body moves... mcm bwk keter kita leh rasa apa yg tak kena taww :lol

I cuma interested ngn Yoga ni theoritically jer.. pon seronok tgk org yg leh lentur bdn nih :bgrin: sbb I takleh wat
errr ni nak tanya lagi betul ke kalo dah satukan mind and spirit tu leh boost tenaga? mcm proses mengatur pernafasan ker?

Hi Reuk,Ttakpa lah kalau u tak berape minat,tapi rajin jugak reply:
Perkara penting dalam yoga adalah Breathing.They will teach you how to breath and the breathing technics.This is important as with your mental focus and deep breathing,you will be able to quiet your mind and refresh your body so you're not only healthier and more relaxed but also GENUINELY happier.
berkenaan dengan extra energy,I would say YES.Based on my experienced,I will become more energetic if I'm practicing yoga-from the theory,the said,if you practise dengan betul,you will gain energy-more oksigen in your body due to the correct breathing.
I pun tak tahu mende ni semua sebelum I pegi sana,tapi lepas i dah cuba,seronok pulak,that's why I buat research sendiri.
I rasa you patut bagi peluang kat diri you,cubalah dulu.dekat centre yang I belajar,ramai you,laki pompuan,tua muda,Mat Saleh pun  ramai.!Sebab the instructors are PURE from India,they are knowlegeable and one of them is the World Yoga Champion!!
Kita sambung lagi nanti okay.

share laa sket caner nak atur pernafasan? ada berapa jenis pernafasan yg u blajar? yg I tau some pengamal leh kurangkan bilangan pernafasannya hingga 3 minit skali bernafas.... kan?

Damansara kat mana? I memang tengah cari Yoga class utk join tapi belum jumpa yang dekat my office ke or dekat rumah.. kalau center tu Damansara utama kira dekat jugak la sebab ada NKVE boleh tolong reply.

penah gak join pilates..huhu..sakit2 otot n urat sarap..tk cam senang..biler wat..boleh putus urat saraf..sbb kene praktis slalu br boleh dpt body yg flexible..tp kalo prektis piltaes slalu..body boleh cun solid molid gitu..sbb mm dier stress kat otot2 n movement (betulkan kalo salah ek)
