MOUNTAIN climbing at Genting Highland? While Genting Highland immediately brings to mind the bright, fun side of the property, mention Gunung Bunga Buah and all you抣l probably get is a clueless frown. Unknown to most people, Gunung Bunga Buah is a favourite peak with city and weekend climbers as it is close to Kuala Lumpur. It is only a 40-minute drive from the capital.

It is also a popular training trail for those training for a more arduous climb to Gunung Tahan, Mt Kinabalu etc.

But that doesn抰 mean one can take Gunung Bunga Buah lightly. It is perhaps one of the few peaks where the descent is tougher than the ascend trek.

The ascend starts with a long mild walk along a weathered tarred road which turns into a gravel path. Some say the road is part of the old road to Genting Highland some 20 years ago and is still in its original condition. It is a 20-minute walk to the first water point and another 30-40 minutes to reach a small opening to where the natural trail starts.

There is no time for warming up or to take in the natural surroundings for the muddy trail ascends almost immediately from the paved road.

The climb is short but is followed by a long steep drop that makes it tricky and timeconsuming. The drop covers almost one-third of the whole journey.

member aku yg tolong check-in pun kata .. nak check ...

betul kena beratur dan ambik nombor dan tunggu nombor panggil pergi kaunter..dapat kunci.

Memang breakfast ramai org..tkt 3 tu..cafe tu untuk mereka yg duduk kat hotel.. sampai banyak seksyen atau entry  ikut pakej yg dibayar..

check genting website..www.genting.com.my tengok kalau ade promotion. Kalau beli online lagi murah..

Hari tu pergi Genting waktu ade promotion cuma RM78 (bulan sept)  with breakfast for 2(shoulder season) at First World
