tommy my boy! Jesus was not buried by laid to rest and this is how it was done.

John 19:38

"Joseph, of Arimathaea, an honorable counselor, who also waited for the Kingdom of God,
came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.

John 19:39-40
And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen,
and laid him in a sepulcher which had been hewn out of a rock,
and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulcher."

sorry Tommy, your definition is wrong to begin with. Looks like you don't even read the Bible for yourself. This is really laughable

What other definition is there? Please enlighten us, oh wise one of the ages.

Its funny that Muslim Tommy thinks Jesus is a corpse. ahahahahahahaha.....................

cheers

Jesus is a corpse. Wasn't that christian believed that jesus was burried for three days.
If he ever existed (and I am 100% certain that he did), his corpse has long since rotted away. You worship the memory of an ordinary man.

Hey Debmey when you get done laughing why don't you summarize a few facts from your religion and tell us how or why one variant belief of it is true over another? How many diffferent beliefs of Christianity and Jesus were there in the early centuries? How many different beliefs and tenets can you list? Is Catholic Otrhodox Christianity the truth or is it Protestant? Why did so many diffferent Christians kill each other in arguments over Jesus? Was Jesus born of a virgin and a miraculous divine birth or was he just a man who became the Christ later in life? Could you explain just those two generic belief notions for starters? What do you base your claims and beliefs of Jesus on? Do you use the New Testament as a basis? Do the issues of forgeries, contradictions or interpolated passages bother you? Are you aware of which ones you think you can trust? Of do you have voices in your head like others which indicate the grand truth? Fill us in. Do you know anything about this religion or the "Bible" or do you just believe what ever pops into your mind?

When do you think the New Testament was written then Tommy? Before or after the resurrection?

From the evidence, the gospels were written in the late 2nd century.
It was written many years after the supposed existence of Jesus. There was no resurrection because dead bodies do not come back to life and then float away to the sky.

When are you going to post YOUR definition of "living through Jesus", Debmey?

Oh, if what you say is true, then aren't you contradicting yourself?

How so? THere was no resurrection, the Jesus you believe in was a fantasy, and you are living your life based on a man who never lived...or, in the highly remote chance that he did, was merely a man and his body is long rotted away.

Now, what is your definition of "living through Jesus"? You keep saying we have it wrong, but you aren't hurrying to correct us.

simple, you said Christians beleive and liive thru a dead person, but at the same time, you also admit that the NT was written after Jesus resurrected. Didn't you contradict yourself already?
Not only that, both Christainity and Islam believe Jesus ascended to heaven. That will end up contradicting your claim that Christians beleive and live thru a dead corpse.

Explain yourself Tommy.

cheers
