Because he got a Hebrew name and he gave hebrew names to his wife and sons. |

If you mean your inaccurate and sometimes even ridiculous English translations, then I guess you are truly missing a lot.

By this kind of (stupid) logic, Ibrahim was an Arab and he spoke Arabic because Ishaq (Isaac) and Ismail (Ishmael) are Arabic names.
Pfftt...anyone can see how silly reasoning this is.

So whats the issue of Chinese not knowing hebrew and greek?
why the double standards?
Because those were the languages your alleged Man-Gawd spoke?

There is no proof that God spoke arabic at all.
Mo said that the witnesses to him receiving God's word were jinns. Now how do you verify that? |

Its better than not understanding at all. Christians are not required to pray or to recite anything in hebrew or aramaic. So your argument is weak. |

Nope these are also HEBREW names.

Tell me why Adam got a Hebrew name and why he gave to his wife and children Hebrew names as well?

The translations are ridiculous, especially the Yusuf Ali translation which is an apologetic transliteration more than anything else. |

No, the Torah was mostly written in Hebrew for a Hebrew audience.
Written copies of the OT texts were dated after the Babylonian exile, scholars know this because they were written in Aramaic, the official language of the Persians at that time. By then most Jews were Aramaic speakers.
Moses and the earlier Israelites most probably spoke Egyptian language. Isaiah said Hebrew was a Canaan language so when the Jews conquered Canaan, they had most probably adopted the native language. And they've adapted very well. According to the OT, some Jews were so comfortable with their new land, they even took foreign wives and worshipped their wives's idol gods.
So, had Moses's exodus was to China, the Torah would've been written in Chinese and Adam would've had a Chinese name and gave his wife and sons Chinese names, BUT that does not mean Adam actually spoke Chinese.

No they are ARABISED names. I am talking about the names Ishaq, Ismail and Ibrahim specifically.
Tell me why Adam got a Hebrew name and why he gave to his wife and children Hebrew names as well?
Because your scribes translated his name into Hebrew, the same way the Quran uses the Arabised names of the Hebrew prophets. At least we are not silly enough to call the Hebrew prophets ARABS....
Same goes with Malay Muslims: they dont understand Ar ...
There are Malay Muslims who are educated in the Middle East and know Arabic. So there is no need to peddle your ignorant assumptions here.
