Berkenaan dgn arkitektur bangunannya , dikatakan ramai arkitek bergabung diketuai oleh seorang Imam Islam...
"The Taj Mahal is generally considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements of Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. Construction of the tomb started in 1632, and was completed in 1648. It took 22 years to complete the tomb, and an extra 5 years for the garden, with the help of 20,000 workers. Sculptors, masons, craftsmen, and calligraphers were called from Persia, Ottoman Empire and Europe to work on construction of the Taj"
Memang ada banyak cerita2 ttg Taj Mahal ni tetapi tidak berasas.termasuklah....
"Shah Jehan deemed that no one else should ever copy the masterpice, so he had the master craftsmans hands cut off.
Some European scholars held the view that the Taj was designed by an Italian - Geronimo Veroneo. This was first suggested by Father Manrique, an Augustinian Friar, who came to Agra in 1640 A.D. to secure the release of Father Antony who had been imprisoned by the Mughals."
"The speculations of P.N. Oak, through his book Taj Mahal: The True Story (ISBN 0-9611614-4-2) have received lots of attention. He claims that the Taj Mahal was originally a Shiva temple and that all structures in India, currently ascribed to the Mughals, actually have an earlier Hindu origin.[20][21] In 2000 India's Supreme Court dismissed Oak's petition to declare that a Hindu king built the Taj Mahal and reprimanded him for bringing the action.[22][17]"
So case closed.

I've seen Taj Mahal myself. I went there in 2001. Sungguh menakjubkan. It is very beautiful. Semua ukiran bunga on its wall made of precious stones. Didalam Taj Mahal on every penjuru tertulis ayat-ayat suci al-quran dan ianya memang sebuah makam dan makam tersebut terletak on the lower ground of Taj Mahal tetapi tidak dibenarkan masuk but still I can see makam tersebut. We were told that dinding luar Taj Mahal tersebut yang di buat daripada batu marmar tak payah dibersihkan ianya boleh membersihkan dirinya sendiri and always shining. Inside Taj Mahal tersebut sangat sejuk memang tak ada air-conditioning walaupun musim panas ini kerana didalamnya dibina system pengaliran udara yang mana apabila angin masuk ke dalam Taj Mahal angin tersebut akan terperangkap dan menyejukkan di dalam Taj Mahal tersebut and one thing that i find Taj Mahal amazing the water fountains still work tak guna eletric pun. Memang amazing akitek zaman tu. :ah: |
