Kalau ada orang pertikai keberkesanan aikido berbanding jujitsu atau muay thai tu baru pertikai teknik dan  bole diuji. Pasal kelakuan susah la.

One of the fundamentals we teach our students and members is to always keep advancing on an
attacker and take ground, thereby always keeping your opposition off balance.

And its important to note that before you even get to that point of no return???before you
consciously make that final decision to actually fight???You must be prepared to go ???all in??????, and
not stop until you are completely, and undisputedly victorious.

Retreating in any sort of combat only means pain and loss. In fact, in medieval times, most
battles were fought with the full intent to cause a rout, and then 99% of enemy kills were made
while those retreating had their backs turned while running away!

Take ground, take ground, take ground. That is how battles, wars, and even the random assault or
street brawl are won.

These principals are also being applied to our current war in Iraq. While many think the only
answer is to pull out and redeploy, giving up hard earned ground (3000 American deaths seems
very expensive to me) to the enemy is not.

hi

Silat Sendeng pun begitu. Silat Lincah kurang yang pakai nama tu tapi ada juga.

Okey jangan tanya lagi nanti tdpp bagi Silat Cekuk (advance dari Silat Cekik)

ASM.
orang kata bahasa tu jiwa bangsa. Jadi begitulah pada istilah bela diri Melayu, yang umumnya selalu dikait dengan perkataan "Gayong", "lian", "cekak", "lintau", "ganyang", "harimau", "helang", 搑ajawali

Erm, memandangkan dah ditimbulkan isu ni, aku nak la bukak open discussion kepada ahli CM dan CH. Selama ni aku slalu mendengar cerita pasal perpecahan CM dan CH, tapi sebelah pihak je la, CH. Of course la aku dengar apa yg orang CH nak cakap. Bila ada demo CM aku ada bertanya tentang menda ni tapi tak pernah dapat jawapan yg memuaskan, yg mengelak pun ada. Mengikut kata senior aku generasi CM baru tak diceritakan hal sebenar pasal perpecahan tu dek senior2 diorang. So kepada geng2 CM lama kalo sudi citer la sket apa yg korang tau. Then kita bleh comparekan dgn story belah CH pulak.

Teaching Real Self Defense

Hey Panzer,

I feel lucky that I am involved with martial arts and self defense training. Rather then just
protecting people I teach people how to protect themselves, and I know all my instructors feel
the same way.

Martial arts instructors used to be respected in society, but misinformation, McDojos, and
incompetent frauds have turned people away. I see it as part of my mission to teach the truth about
martial arts. Self defense is like any other consumer product, and the public needs to be
informed.

I enjoy sport combatives like boxing, karate, and of course judo, because they're a lot of fun, and
good for combat conditioning, but at the end of the day they're just sports. People don't know
the difference between combat sports and self defense, and that can get them killed. In a
street fight there are no rules and it is a matter of life and death.

Techniques and strikes that would get you penalized in a competition are exactly what you
need to do in a self defense situation.

Do you remember that kid growing up who said he knew karate and couldn't fight worth a damn? The
same holds true today when it comes to most martial arts "experts". Most martial arts
instructors have never been in a real fight, and deep down they know what they are teaching is
useless outside of their martial arts school.

They should be proud of their students for doing well in sport, but instead they tell them
whatever they want to hear. I have instructors who teach martial arts like Tae Kwon Do, but they
teach military hand-to-hand combat and self defense techniques separately.

Another thing a lot of these so-called masters say is that they either taught military personnel
or they served themselves. They know you won't check out their claims, and probably even believe
the lies. If the Navy had as many SEALS as there are guys claiming to be SEALS, they would have
divisions not teams. Also, even if someone served in the military, it doesn't make their sport
combative system any more deadly.

There isn't a week that goes by that I don't hear from someone in law enforcement, the military or
just an average citizen who takes time out to say thanks. They made time to train and learn real
world self defense and combat martial arts, and they made it home safe.

It would be great if one day one of my students goes to the Olympics, but it is even more
gratifying to know that my students are safe because of what they learned.

The truth is few people teach real self defense methods that can work anywhere, even if the odds
are stacked against you. I make it clear to my students, what the differences are between
civilized sport combat, and savage street fighting so they know what really works for self
defense.

Too many martial arts instructors don't know the truth, and their students are the ones who pay
the consequences.

Sensationalized by the media and worshipped by the twisted, serial
killers are human predators. While they may be thrilling in works of fiction, a
real life encounter with a serial killer is a terrifying experience, and it
will take everything you have to survive.

On August 31, 2007 Rob Zombie will release his remake of the classic
horror film Halloween. The film is about a psychotic murderer who was been
institutionalized since childhood, and escaped custody on the way to
court. He then goes on a mindless rampage through the streets Haddonfield,
Illinois with his doctor in hot pursuit. While the scenario sounds unlikely it
is closer to the truth then we would like to believe. When you're facing
down a maniac it isn't about self defense any more; it is kill or be killed.

The reality is that serial killers don't stop until someone captures or
kills them. Serial killers are driven to torture and kill for a wide
range of reasons, and are unlike other criminals. In New York City, the "Son
of Sam" claimed he murdered on the orders of a neighbor's dog, and was
involved in a satanic cult. Canadian couple Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka
lived out their dark fantasies by torturing and murdering young school girls.
Serial killers only make up a small part of the population, but they have the
potential to destroy many lives.

If you don't want to end up being a victim of one of these depraved
animals, you need a combination of self defense and deadly fighting techniques.
Being observant and avoiding dangerous situations altogether is the best
defense.
Follow your mother's advice and don't talk to strangers, and don't let
someone lead you away from a safe location. If you feel something isn't
right, trust your instincts and quickly walk away. If your attackers do
use physical force, assume they're trying to kill you or worse, abduct you
so they can torture and kill you later. Fight back hard and make plenty of
noise; if you can't finish them off, hurt them badly enough that you
can get away.

In horror films killers are depicted as unstoppable forces, with only a
lucky few managing to survive their wrath. That doesn't have to be the
case in real life, though, if you know how to fight back. Self defense
training and combat martial arts will take away a killer's advantages in a close
combat situation, and improve your odds of survival. Remember that
you're in a kill or be killed situation -- start fighting early, and don't stop
until one of you is dead or disabled. Serial killers search for people they
can victimize; surprise them and become their worst nightmare.

The truth is most of the martial arts today are sport martial arts.
Not many teach the combat version. Sport versions are more popular.
Students are more interested in winning medals.
