Singer BoA who recently performed for a special event of "Hanryu Expo In Asia" entitled "Made In BoA 2007" singing her several hit songs "Girls On Top", "My Name" and more. She revealed that she wished to play the role of Ha Ji-won, who starred in the drama "What Happened In Bali" if she had the chance to act for a Korean drama series. She also said she was crushed on Jo In-sung in the "Main Street", citing that he is the ideal man for her!

[BoA抯 Two Albums To Be Released!]
Two of BoA's albums entitled "BoA The Live" and "BoA Complete Clips 2004-2006" will be release on March 16 in Korea. Featuring live performances held in Japan's 6 cities last year.
The Album "BoA The Live 2006" contains a total of 20 songs, including her hits songs showcased on these tours, various OST music and more. "BoA Complete Clips 2004-2006" also sketches her activities and career growth in Japan.

BoA to be Featured in Wheesung's New Album
Finally, some news for BoA fans in Korea! SportsHankook reports that BoA is scheduled to participate in Wheesung's new album due out this May. Wheesung, a prominent male R&B artist known for his unique voice, is said to have personally invited BoA to sing a duet with him. BoA happily agreed, as they have known each other for several years. According to the article, famous hit-maker, Park Geun-Tae, who is also the producer of Wheesung's new album, is trying to come up with a duet song that will showcase the two singers' distinctive voices.
This is the first time BoA is to be featured in another Korean artist's album since her brief appearance in DBSK's 'Tri-Angle.'

BoA's Fashion on TV!!
MTV Korea created a documentary on Asia's star BoA's leading fashion sense. Named "Girls on Top," MTV Interviews BoA as well as her stylists, BoA's style has become renown for it's chik fashion sense. BoA stated that she doesnt try to follow the fashion trend but rather wears what she likes. She also stated that she loved black and white clothes the most, or clothes without much color. BoA's stylists commented that BoA knows her style and what suits her best, and always picks out the perfect outfit for her in a few tries.
They talk about BoA's transformation from a young hiphoppy girl to a mature and fashionable young lady. In this continuing documentary, MTV will reveal BoA's favorite clothes brands as well as clothing stores she enjoys visiting next week. Tune in next week for more updates from BoA's House.

Is Acting for BoA?
Asia's star BoA is currently in a dilemma. BoA isn't sure if she should make a comeback to the Korean market with an entrance to the acting industry or release BoA's 6th Korean album. BoA, who announced of her entrance to the acting industry since 2005, is having a hard time choosing which production to choose due to many singers failing in the acting industry, such as Hyori. Furthermore, BoA hasnt released the long awaited Korean album last year which kept her Korean fans waiting.
SM has refused many offers in the past such as a part in the Hallyu drama "Goong," a Hollywood staffed Hong Kong movie starring Yao Ming called "Jump," and many more. SM reported that BoA had a high possibility that she would debut to the acting industry through either a Korean or American film. However, if SM felt that BoA lacked skill and experience, she would comeback with her 6th album first.
SM stated that they would decide if BoA would act or not by late March or early April. If they do not decide till then, BoA will release her 6th Korean album in June this year. Let's just hope SM makes the best choice for BoA.

BoA has been chosen to be the new model of Korean Music Channel, KM. KM, which has been the mainstream music channel for the last ten years, has chosen BoA to be their new model in order to transform their image into a more modern image. While changing their slogan to "Original Music Channel," BoA will act as the support in this new transformation to compete with other competing music channels. BoA Completes First Arena Tour 'MADE IN TWENTY" 2007
Yesterday marked the start of BoA's 2007 "MADE IN TWENTY" Live Tour. According to fans who attended yesterday's concert, BoA has given a breathtaking concert full of never-before-sung-live songs such as silent screamerz, and songs from her newest album and single including SWEET IMPACT. Fans were blown away by the interesting outfits and never before seen performances. The above photo shows BoA performing the song Lady Galaxy during the concert. We hope to see a DVD of the concert coming some time soon as this concert may have been the best among all her past live tours.

Ed Hardy Designs a Cap for BoA
A worldwide tatoo design company, Ed Hardy, has reported that they have designed a cap just for BoA. BoA has worn Ed Hardy caps in the past including some Moto performances as well as 2004 studio takes. Ed Hardy, which incorporates mainly skulls and as well as Asian aesthetics, has said to have designed a cap with a purple front and a gray back.
There has never been a cap of this design released in Japan before, and it will be given to BoA as a present with at no cost. Ed Hardy has gained it's popularity by endorsing them through celebrities such as Britney Spears, as well as many Korean celebrities. BoA is planning to wear this cap during a performance in her currently ongoing concert, 'MADE IN TWENTY 2007 Live Tour."
SM Entertainment stated that BoA's recognition in the worldwide market has escalated to a state of companies begging to endorsing their products by BoA. SM expressed much satisfaction and were again impressed by BoA's popularity.

BoA's 6th Korean Album ! !
In an interview in Yokohama yesterday, BoA revealed that she will return to Korea after finishing her MADE IN TWENTY 2007 Live Tour. After having a short break, BoA will start preparing for her 6th Korean album. BoA stated that she was not completely sure if she would release an album this year in Korea but she promised that she would work hard for her waiting Korean fans. It seems as if SM has not yet decided upon the issue of BoA's acting career yet.

BoA Listed as Korea's Richest Star
Sina Entertainment reports the earnings of BoA and other Korean stars. The following is a translation:
"A Korean employment website recently released a list with the earnings of Korean Stars for the year 2006. The female Korean singer, BoA, earned a whopping 350 million RMB (Chinese Dollars), placing her first on the list.
According to certain reports, this Korean employment website grades the earnings of Korean Stars based on their total earnings from performances, guest appearances and talk shows. BoA, being a newborn star, is rapidly known throughout Asia. Every album produced by BoA has sold amazingly well; especially the sales in Japan, where BoA's main sales demographic resides. Recent news also mentions that BoA's penetration into the American entertainment market may result in higher earnings. In second place is Bae Yong Jun. This is attributed to his careful selection of roles in scripts and his concentration and time put into the food and beverage market. But taking his side occupation into calculation, no artists in South Korea can match Bae Yong Jun's entertainment earnings. Jang Dong Gun's total earning of 50 million RMB has placed him in third place.
The most noteworthy star is Korea's Little Heavenly King, Rain. In 2006, the earnings he made from commercials was already approximately 15 million RMB. Adding on TV series, albums and concert performances, Rain ranking in the Top 3 is already possible."

[BoA Begins Tour of 4 Japanese Cities]

BoA to participate in "I Love Korea" Concert in Hollywood Bowl
Korean TV Channel, MBC, is celebrating its entrance into the US market. Home to the famous music show, "Music Camp," in which BoA performed several songs, MBC will be having a concert to commemorate their entrance. Named "I Love Korea," the concert will invite Korea's top singers including BoA, Epik High, Super Junior, Seo Ji Young, Eru, Ivy, totaling 16 stars. Brian Joo of Fly to the Sky and Eugene will be the MCs due to their native English skills. Korean American ski athlete Toby Dawson, winner of the bronze medal for the ski freestyle race in the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, will be participating as well as he became a Korean national hero after this great feat. MBC announced that BoA is planning on revealing and performing a song from her 6th Korean album. Organized by MBC America and MTV, the "I Love Korea" concert will be held as part of the annual LA Hollywood Bowl, on May 5th.

[Japanese Baseball Team to Use BoA's Song]
Yokohama BayStars, a baseball team in Japan's Central League, has chosen BoA's song as the team's official theme song for this upcoming season, according to Yonhap News Agency. It has not been revealed which specific song the team will be using.
"I've been following sports closely," said BoA. "I'm really glad that my song has been chosen for this occasion."
This makes an interesting situation for baseball fans in Korea because Yokohama Baystars' first match of the season will be with Yomiuri Giants, which many Koreans are supporting because Lee Seung-Yeop, a Korean baseball player, belongs to Yomiuri Giants.
Koreans will surely have a hard time deciding which team to support: the one with BoA or with Lee Seung-Yeop?

BoA Finishes MADE IN TWENTY Live Tour Sucessfully
BoA has finally finished her one month long MADE IN TWENTY Live Tour, touring four cities with seven great concerts, finally completing her last concert at the Nagoya Gaishi Hall. Bringing a total of 6,500 audience members to her last concert, BoA sucessfully sang 21 songs changing outfits 6 times and wigs 5 times throughout the concert. News casters reported that BoA captured the heart of the audience with her 'Candle Lights' performance which was sung on top of a 8 meter tall tower inside the stadium. It was reported that she really let out all she had with a developed voice and femine yet reserved outfit which further defined her mature image.
At an interview, BoA revealed that she wanted to sing more feminine and mature songs from now on as she reached the age of twenty. She also claimed the desire to have a love relationship some time in the future. BoA will return to Korea in May to start planning for her 6th Korean album.

Sweet Impact Ranks 5th on Oricon Charts
BoA has done it once again. Hitting 5th place on the Oricon Daily Single Chart, BoA is continuing her history of ranking at least 10th place on the charts everytime a single was released. BoA ranked on a rather high rank considering the other very competitive singles out at the moment. Kinki Kids released a single celebrating their 10th anniversary ultimately ranking 1st place. Beating the extreme competition, BoA has proven her popularity in Japan once again.

BoA Singing at a Musical?
BoA's producer Lee Soo Man of SM Entertainment reported yesterday that BoA has been recieving constant requests to perform in Korean musicals. Korean Musical Company, PMC Productions stated that they wanted to bring the sucessful Korean musical "대장금" or "Dae Jang Geum," into the Japanese market. They believe that the musical will gain much more attention with the aid of BoA's popularity and talent. Mr. Lee Soo Man has much to consider as he is getting requests from the movie, drama, as well as the musical industry for BoA's presence. Which will Mr. Soo Man Lee choose? We will just have to wait to see.

Singer BoA's 22nd single 'Sweet Impact,' released in Japan on Wednesday, is off to a good start, ranking 5th on the daily Oricon rankings.
At the Tokyo Shibuya branch of Japan's largest record chain HMV, BoA ranked 3rd. The Korean female singer is regarded a pop icon among young Japanese people.
Her 5th Japanese album 'Made in Twenty' released in January had topped the weekly Oricon chart in the first week of release. Five consecutive original albums released by BoA all topped the chart in the first week of release, indicating her continuing fame in Japan.

[BoA Releases 22nd Single 'Sweet Impact']
Korean pop superstar BoA's 22nd single "Sweet Impact" was released on Wednesday in Korea following its successful debut in Japan.
"Sweet Impact" is an upbeat dance tune just right for bright and sunny spring days. It's the song BoA belted at her Yokohama concert last month while wearing an eye-catching hat by Ed Hardy, the famous fashion designer.
The track has found a big audience in Japan where it's being used to help promote the cosmetics brand CF.
The song is available in two forms, CD and DVD. The DVD includes the music video to the song, featuring BoA in a splendid dance performance in a stylish fedora.
The track "Bad Drive," which highlights BoA's singing power, is also included with the single.
BoA last week wrapped up a successful four-city tour of Japan. Starting with this single, she plans to devote more time to working in Korea.
