A plain story about yourself is for average candidate..

Use below technique to impress the interviewers..

for example...

"I came from very poor family..... at age of 7th I had to sell nasik lemak from door to door and bla bla...
...Here I learned that.... to gain a single cents is ... bla bla... " contoh lahh..

so the interviewers will probably know what is "yourself" according to your story..

last 2 week lil ader interview SPA as PSM..biasalah kalo dh PSM ni soalan
mesti related dgn it la kn..

soalan ni disoal psm kat spa tuh..
1. apa tugas psm?
2. apa itu msc dan terangkan dgn detail..
3. apa itu e-government?
4. terangkan apa itu open source
5. cane nak allocate saiz sesuatu database.. (paling tak leh jawab..):siok:
6. programming lang. yang tahu.. (paling siot sebab terjawab saya tau bm dgn bi jek...hahahahaha)
7. kenapa nak jadi psm sedangkan dah apply for ptd?
8. terangkan apa itu sdlc, waterfall
9. rmk-9
10. 3tier (member yg kena...)

ermmm ni pegawai yg dh tua skit yg tanya..
1. cuba citerkan kelebihan awk..aper yg awk lebih dari org lain..ala ala cane nk 'jual' diri sendiri la
2. perkembangan isu terkini dalam paper
3. perkembangan terbaru johor (kebetulan masa tuh pm baru balik dr johor)

ermm minta2 luluslah kan...result kuar 19/9 ni :pray:

pandai2 aaa carik weakness yg positif
cam saya nih terlalu detail ke
pastuh cakap aaa yg ko tgh berusaha overcome ko punya weakness

contoh kalo ko cakap ko nih slack dalam planning
tapi sekarang ko dah start ada buku planner ke...pda ke

pada aku, kalo dorang tak tanye, toksah cite pasal family adik beradik sume. it's irrelevant. (tapi tak tau la apasal some malaysian companies still ask that).

kalo nak cite pasal hobby, make sure you have something to highlight that is again, relevant to the job you're applying. the first few minutes is really important. you want to make the early impression that you are the guy for the job.

contoh nya aritu aku interview ngan construction company.

Antara benda yang aku cakap ialah favorite TV channels and programs. sounds irrelevant? Nop. Aku cakap, favorite channel aku is History and Discovery channels. and favorite shows aku mostly berkaitan ngan engineering, cam Engineering an Empire, Modern Marvel, Extreme Engineering and Mega Builders. And aku highlight that malam sebelum tu, dalam Mega Builders, aku nengok project jambatan baru kat San Francisco yang company tu bina, and it was so inspiring. You see, hobi pon hobi gak, but it's totally relevant. because they want to know that you are interested in what they're doing.

lain lain benda cam family miskin ke toksah sebut kalo tak ditanya (i've seen this). i mean, if I'm the employer, I wouldn't care if your family is poor or how much you need the job to help you financially. I care if you are enthusiastic in what you will be doing in my company, and if you have what it takes for the job. Remember it's business, not welfare.


satu lagi kena prepared gak. sometimes interviewer jenis yang tak banyak cakap, tak banyak tanye. so in that case, ko kena adjust sket, voluntarily cite. but again, cite benda yang relevant. i'm sure there's a lot  you can say about yourself, but you must select things that in some ways highlight your qualities that they seek. check the job description, it may give you some ideas on what quality they might look for. also tanye la sesape yang keje company tu. cam aku aritu, aku tanye member aku yang dah keje ngan company tu. dia cakap keje dia busy la, sebab construction management is a lot of work. so bile interview, aku cakap aku memang suke buat keje, in fact, I live to work. I'd work extra hours to get the job done, to produce quality work. And it turned out that that's exactly what the interviewer wanted to hear.

but whatever you say, never lie.

so, whatever the job you're interviewing for, you must do some homework. you have to market yourself differently with different company and different position.

the whole point is, you want to highlight, although subtly, that you're the right person for the job. and you don't wanna look like anybody else. you wanna stand out.
