Hi!!!

come accross with this sentence on someone's blog but I'm not really sure what it means.

"I have never been more motivated to finish school as I am not that I know people out there will want to hire me".

another Q from me.

1) penulis tak bermotivasi nak habiskan sekolah?
2) the thing is, I'm totally confused with above sentence...

I need more explanation on "couldn't be happier" n "never been happier".

The sentence you quoted above was not properly constructed. Something is missing or wrong words might have been used. I, myself finding it difficult to understand the sentence.

Kalau dalam bentuk active where kita letakkan pembuat perbuatan di depan ayat sebagi subjek dia boleh dalam bentuk:-

1. Ali did the installation of the window frame just now. Simple Past - Active form (With time indicator bila berlaku i.e. Just now)

2. Ali has done the installation of the window frame. Present Perfect - Active form (No time indicator bila berlaku).

Kalau dalam bentuk ayat yg you bagitu ialah bentuk Passive (dipasang)

1. The installation of the window frame was done by Ali just now.Simple Past - Passive form

2. The installation of the window frame has been done by Ali.Present Perfect - Passive form

Adjectives ending in 朎D or 朓NG

In my earlier posting at http://knowledgecentre.wordpress.com/2007/11/19/114/I have givenexample on some adjectives ending with -ing.

Another form of adjectives are the ones ending with -ed. A common errori s thinking that any word ending with -ed is a Verb in its Simple Past or Past Participle form. You have to be careful here as some words that end in -ed are also adjectives.

Then there is also confusion in using the -ing and -ed ending adjectives as you might think they are interchangeable. For example the word disappointing and disappointed.

揟he movie was disappointing.

Sayang_Dia,

Silent ialah adjectives dan digunkan untuk menerangkan Nouns. Ianya ialah kata Sifat dan kalau dalam frasa pertama tu maybe sesuai tukarkan kepada Silent Love..

Untuk frasa kedua tu Silently ialah Adverb dan digunakan untuk menerangkan Verb, Adjectives atau Adverb yg lain.

In Love ialah Adjectives so boleh lah gunakan frasa "Silently in Love"

Boleh juga gunakan seperti "To love someone silently"

Untuk jawapanpertama, ada dua jawapan iaitu:-

1. works 杙enggunaan Simple present untuk fakta tentang di mana Joyah bekerja.
2. is working枛 penggunaan Present progressive untuk perbuatan yang sedang Joyah lakukandalam jangkamasa yang panjang.

Untuk jawapankedua, gunakan Present Progressive kerana pengunaan
