Sebab setau aku, aku dah check 2-3 forums, kalau iPhone tu v1.1.2out-of-the-box memang confirm tak boleh nak unlock untuk guna sim darinetwork provider lain, i.e. sim telco Malaysia.

Betul, tak boleh, tetapi masalahnya bukan pada v1.1.2 sebenarnya, tetapi pada modem firmware 04.02.13_G... sbb lagi tak ubah modem firmware jadi 04.01.13, selagi itu unlock tak berkesan untuk gsm kad.

Jika Modem Firmware 04.02.13_G (Ver 1.1.2) terus dilakukan downgrade cara biasa ke v1.1.1 iaitu dengan terus jadikan iphone recovery mode dan restore v1.1.1 melalui iTunes, lepas tu unlock, tidak mungkin dapat membaca sim kad gsm malaysia.  tapi masih boleh diupgrade kembali ke v1.1.2, tetapi akan sangkut... bukan setakat sleep, malah sebenarnya black screen.. proses go to recovery mode masih boleh dibuat sekali lagi, proses lain, termasuk hidupkan melalui beberapa cara yang aku buat, kalau hiduppun.. hanya sementara, apabila screen kembali black kerana auto lock, maka akan gelaplah semahu-mahunya.  Siapa pun tak hendak jadi begiti, setiap kali nak guna kena hidupkan kembali dengan menyambung ke PC @ mac. leceh betul...

Jika modem firmware 04.02.13_G dilakukan tindakan berikut:

• Make sure Modem version is 04.02.13_G in Settings → General → About.
• Set Settings → General → Auto Lock → Never
• Start Installer and install BSD SubSystem found in System Category.
• Go to Sources and tap edit and add http://i.unlock.no/
• Now install "BB Downgrader (1.1.2)" found in Unlocking Tools category. This will take around 5 minutes.
• When done, restore your phone to get 1.1.1 firmware reinstalled.
• When phone have been restored, you can Activate and unlock as normal.

Kemdian kalau nak stay ver1.1.1 pun ok, yang pasti bukan saja v1.1.2 dah down ke v1.1.1., tetapi modem firmware pun dah down jadi 04.01.13.
dengan modem firmware 04.01.13, boleh saja nak upgrade ke ver 1.1.2.

OK la kalau camtu, sebab aku still ada satu lagi iPhone untuk di-unlock.

Ko punya week berapa punya production?  boleh check digit keempat dan kelima dai serial number.  Ko skrg pakai line/telco apa?

week 40, modem firmware asal 04.02.13_G and sure have bootloader version 4.6, he he, pasti tidak melangkaui 45 week ke atas.. walaupun aku beli iPhone aku tu, dah tersedia ver 1.1.2 bersama sim kad at&t, tetapi mengikut kiraan week memang ianya untuk ver1.1.1.   Jadi aku bernasib baik tidak membeli keluaran week 45+.  

Aku terjumpa cerita ini:

Se betul la aku macam yang aku cakap ari tu, v.1.1.2 out-of-the-box masih tak boleh di-unlock.

STEP3 - Activate And Jailbreak

Dial *#307# and hit call
