'Get me the 3 best players' says Abramovich

Roman Abramovich has ordered the Chelsea scouts to find him the 3 best players at this month's under 21 European Championships as he focuses his attention on youth. The Sunday Mirror claims that Abramovich has given his scouts the unenviable task of identifying the tournaments three most talented players with a view to bringing them to Stamford Bridge. The paper claims one of those players is likely to be Italian star Gianpaolo Pazzani from Fiorentina. Chelsea's head scout Piet De Visser has his eye on four players in particular who he believes will shine this summer, telling the paper:

"There are four players with their names written in capital letters on my notepad. Players who are not under contract with a big club yet."

Chelsea Target To Sign Next Week

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will have to wait till next week to found out if he has won the race to sign Tal Ben Haim from Bolton.

Newcastle also joined the race after his former manager tried to persuade the Israel International defender to join up with him once again.

Ben Haim has held talks with both Chelsea and Newcastle but the thought of challenging for the Premier League title is to good to turn down and will confirm his chosen club in the forthcoming week.

Chelsea originally made an offer in January but it was turned down by Bolton but he could now join them for free after he refused to sign a new contract at the Reebok.

JOSE MOURINHO last night promised to win back the Premiership title with free transfers.

Chelsea boss Mourinho has claimed that he will have no money to spend in the transfer market this summer even though billionaire owner Roman Abramovich has publicly insisted there will be funds available. But super-confident Mourinho still believes Chelsea can regain the title from Manchester United.

Reading midfielder Steve Sidwell and Bayern Munich's Peruvian striker Claudio Pizarro have already arrived for nothing, and they will joined PSV defender Alex - who is owned by Chelsea.

United, meanwhile, have splashed out
