I thought the malays the learn Jawi.. not arabic.. or jawi=arabic?

Every muslim must learn to read the Quran , but only some of them learn/understand arabic language

But nowadays the translations are so advance that it should not be any problem to understand the Quran even by reading the translations .

Again.... back to the topic...

You say that people listen and do not deny or justify what the Iman say. I think this is because they are obssessed with the heavenly reward that Allah promise.

Reward can motivate people to do good and God grants a muslim with rewards for doing good and not for commiting evil .But partisanship is not good but evil so clearly if they were obsessed with God's rewards then they should have avoided partisanship at all cause.

You are right.. that is why many religious doctrine do not specify what reward.....

If it is, then people would compare the religion with respect the the reward they would gain.

And they accept the religion base on the reward that they hope for
