Malaysia to host Champions Youth Cup meet

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will play host to 14 top world club sides in the Champions Youth Cup tournament from Aug 5-19.
The unprecedented football extravaganza will see youth teams from ACMilan, Ajax Amsterdam, Arsenal, Boca Juniors, Chelsea, Flamengo,Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Porto, Internazionale, Juventus, ManchesterUnited, Paris St Germain and  plus youth teams from PSV Eindhoven, Qatarand hosts Malaysia.
Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Azalina Othman said they made a bid tostage the event (at a cost of

Now they are preparing for the World Cup squad for 2022...
Darn....they never learn the proper way...i suppose they will try to be the host for that 2022 World Cup..

We hosted the remaja World Cup before...Henry...Owen...dgn pemain2 dari South America ramai yang datang....We lost all the games..I still remember Nik Fadhli score the only goal...yg Tengku Hazman sampai terkoyak2 baju dia time main tu...
Tp....hasilnya...? Where are they now? Blooming oversea..? Nope..they are still playing IN the country...Hmm....

benda alah ni, masa cabut undi haritu kat kl, azalina kata nak hantar youth player training sama2 dgn youth team arsenal or smtg..

but this tourney takleh nak disamakan dgn match2 yg mesia pernah host before this like lawan mu, lawan brazil, world cup youth zaman dulu tu yg takder kesinambungan lepas habisnya tourney... this CYC is not a one-off event yg mesia saja2 buat mcm tu.. it's backed by G-14, with some collaboration for football development in mind (watever taht means.. hehe)

if not one-off event then aper? yearly tournament? and another 17 million to spend.. serius aku rasa since azalina take over nih banyak lak benda2 yg membazir dia buat.. kompleks sukan kat london..

abt the partnership dgn Arsenal dah settle ke ek?? Hari tu bising yg Arsenal tak tahu apa2 pasal nih..

ada option to renew contract for this tourney untuk tahun2 after ni.. kaedahnya haritu azalina kata ni untuk perkembangan bolasepak (mcm biasa punya jawapan la).. kerana ada collaboration with G-14 and the likes (watever that means).. unlike yg kita host kan before this, takat host jer tp takder melibatkan next action ie untuk tolong majukan bola, takder usahasama or that sort of partnership. Aactually aku pun tak nampak apa partnership mesia dgn G-14 - tapi G-14 endorse competition ni.. aku assume antara tujuan g-14 nak majukan bolasepak area sini dgn bantuan club2 tu kot?  n yg sponsor promotional activities tu pun kata dia ada 3-year plan of investment for malaysia, tp aku tak dgr apa lagi diorang cakap after that ..

mungkin itulah tujuan dia.. promote all the g-14 clubs and at the same time nak tolong majukan mutu bolasepak mesia kot.. niat tu bagus.. tapi aku takut execution dia nanti tak tahu macam mana.. takut after 1 year semenya senyap.. kalau follow Hong Kong punya youth tournamnet mmg bagus.. every summer ader.. melibatkan europe top club gak..
