Proton:
MSX 2007 model
Status: Rumor
The MSX will be one of the first original products for this Malaysian
company, as well as its first ever SUV/crossover thingy.Proton MSX (code name) is using CamPro V6 engine with 2.++cc engine.
Putra 2008 model
Status: Rumor
The last Proton Putra (called simply Coupe in export markets due to the
horrible name) was just a badge-engineered version of the Mitsubishi
Lancer 2-door model that was sold until 1998. The Proton version, however,
has used this outdated design up until the present. The next Putra will
also be a badge-engineered version of another car: the Lotus Elise. While
this seems highly unlikely, the fact is that Proton bought Lotus way back
in 1996 and retains full ownership of the sports car company. Thuis ought
to do wonders for Proton's image.
Satria 2006 model, July 2005 debut
Status: Spied
Proton replaces the Satria, a rebadged version of the previous-generation
Mitsubishi Colt, with a new car, designed in-house. It has quite a
resemblance to the Rover 25. A GTi model will also be available, with a
turbo and suspension tuned by Lotus.
Tiara 2006 model
Status: Spied
The current Tiara is just the French Citroen AX, which has been out of
production for years, in a slightly reskinned body. This is finally
replaced with an original and fairly modern product by the Malaysian
company. It may have the ridiculous name of "Sassy."

weh baru aku ingat....2 bulan sudah aku ade terserempak dgn tiga2 bijik kete ni kat highway ipoh-kl , aku ingatkan kete org hantar dari perak ke kl nak buat touch up body color ke haper...rupanya kete proton testing.....yg korang kata putra replacement model tu mmg depan mata aku kete tu....mmg sedap mata memandang walaupon body cincai2 mcm dlm gambar tu..
btw..aku tak sangka plak kete savvy ada dlm trip dorang kat highway 2 bulan sudah tu...yg kelakar ....kwn aku skali dlm kete aku tanya yg bentuk tinggi tu ape (yg savvy tu)...aku pon cakap la...ford focus ke haper kot nak bikin touch up kaler...wakaka..
anyway....mmg tiga2 model tu sejibon dgn yg aku terserempak...confirm! |

TD2000 tu memang kete paling biol they have ever produce.. sib baik wat tak banyak.. tapi haku rasa kalau RM150k, ramai gak yg beli nieh..
yg 2 bijik tu memang dah bocor rahsia, satu SRM, satu lagi TRM atau known to market as savvy dah skang nieh... yang rendah nie aper erkk rahsia dier.. |

Ni apa yg aku dpt la...
Proton has confirmed that the car, which has been codenamed Proton Ultimate, will ride on a modified version of the super-strong but lightweight, all-aluminium Monaco chassis developed by the British car maker. This chassis will first be used as the basis for the new Lotus flagship M250 coupe
The Lotus-developed core technology used by the Speedster - the exceptionally stiff and light chassis of extruded and bonded aluminium which also forms the load-bearing structure for the car - will also be used in the MSC as will a mid-engined layout. With Lotus having refined this technology - its ultimate form is in the Lotus M250 prototype - the development cost for the MSC would not be very high. According to Tan Sri Tengku Mahaleel, Proton's CEO, it will cost just a quarter of what it would cost to develop a high-volume sedan. Considering that the Waja was developed at a cost of RM970 million, this means the MSC should cost around RM400 million. The MSC will not be produced in large numbers and a figure of 3,000 units, to be produced over five years, is planned.
The powerplant for the MSC is still a secret but Tengku Mahaleel has indicated that it would have at least 147 kW/200 bhp. It could well be the Petronas engine or to reduce costs, a turbocharged or supercharged Satria GTI engine which is being developed by Proton. But because of the light weight of the car, it will not need a large engine to achieve real sportscar performance. The target is acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in less than 6 seconds.
When the MSC was first announced, the price indicated was around RM150,000 but that was before any cost studies were done seriously. The figure has now been raised to ‘under RM200,000' which would still be quite a bargain against comparable imported sportscars.

Tapi kan, kalaulah korang diberi pilihan antara kereta2 lain dengan Proton 2 pintu ni kan... Korang pilih mana satu?
Contohnya.... Alfa 156, Mazda 6, Renault Megane dan yang sewaktu dengannya....
Or maybe Mitsubishi Evolution 4-5-6, Subaru Impreza Ver5 (recond)..... NAk ke korang pilih this particular Proton? |

Any 4 doors sporty sedan against this car...I'll go for the 4 doors...else depend on the prices... |
