i think we had one of this before...

ermm... the idea is to remove heat from a place...

to remove heat, there must be something to accept the heat...

then, the idea is to have something small enough to accept the heat...

we dont need a gigantic machine to cool down a single room...

things with small mass, but are able to absorb heat...

Find that chemical, our air cond is done.... (thats a little bit fast)

I would suggest you to learn about this from qualified people. AC could be dangerous. Just look at the power connection. Normally it has higher current rating than other appliances. So I'd say seek professional instruction to learn this, besides your own research. Especially if you plan to provide services for other people.

well, I still think you should seek professional help if you're new to AC. Having technical knowledge about electricity may not be enough to begin doing this, although it should help. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering but I won't offer services for critical parts in cars since I have no expertise in it. (Plus I can get sued if anything goes wrong).
I think if you wanna learn from books or online, it's ok as long as you're not yet playing with the real thing or offering services. Be careful.
