keta haku dah 2 tahun..
once in a blue moon ada gak masalah susah start...
tapi most of the time hokay jer...
ala2 3-4 bulan sekali ada la certain period dia susah start..
haku bajet spark plug nak kong kots sbb tak pernah tukar lagi spark plug...next service baru kena tukar katanye |

klu takde prob cam ashna..... skit2 mungkin plug kot.
plug tuh jgn tunggu 40k seperti yg proton rekemen.... nanti muncul masalah coil plak.... lagi baik masa tukau plug nanti ko ader kat seblah dia masa dia cabut2 cable coil tuh... ada kes dia buat cabel jd rosak pastu drive jd tak sedap, tak mantap, engine tersedak2 sbb bocor... last2 berfungsi 3 silinder jer.... masa tuh coil kena tukau baru sbb kabel dan coil skali jual...
renault pomen cakap plug savvy nieh better tukau dlm 30k paling lama.... bukan aper untuk keterjaminan masa depan
tp masing2 punya keputusan laaa..... |

klu gi proton SC yg kecik atau edar yg kecik2 gila2 dia letak 30 hinggit seketul..... 4 bijik mau 120 hinggit untuk brand champion tuh
klu gi SC besat2 boleh dpt murah 30% rasanya.....
aku pon masih pakai yg asal lagik sbb aku tukau masa balik kampung... tak tau nak tanya kedai mana brand lain.. last2 kat proton edar... takpelah skali skala kena katok bayar mahal....... |

ingat nak beli barang2 yg kena tukar tu sket2 dolu..
tgk kat savoc ada senarai harga barang2 savvy yg ori dan non ori parts..
kalau campur2 boleh la save sket kots.. |

dont worry la... savvy aku lg 4 bulan cukup 2 tahun.. alhamdulillah.. takde problem langsung setakat ni..
cuma penah tukar bulb lampu depan aje.. yg lain ok aje...
tapi aku risau gak la pasal spark plug tu.. takut mekanik tu tak reti pasang.. boleh rosak ignition coil..
kereta kalau nak buat hal.. tak kira jenis apa..
kakak aku beli Hyundai Matrix.. pagi ambik.. petang buat hal.. central lock tak berfungsi..:@ |

Setakat petang tadi, dah 4 SC aku call... semuanya kata takde stok speed sensor TDC nih.. Alih2, dorang suruh aku pergi Glenmarie atau COE.
Aku saspek dorang saja taknak buat benda tu.. leceh sebab position nya yang terceruk kat gearbox.. padahal cajnya bukan banyak pun.. under warranty.. |

Hallow guys aku bawak savvy jugak...prob ni memang common sebab renault punya hal...renault kat uk pun ada prob ni...nak kata problem besar tak juga sebab mudah nak solve problem ni..minor servis jer..nak bukak mudah janji ada tools..
Sensor tak tukar ker baru lagi, ok jer lepas cuci..kalu tersadai kat tepi jalan dok leh nak start dok leh nak buat aper boleh try sentuh2 wiggle2 sikit wayar hitam kat sensor tu..confirm leh start pas tu..gambar sensor baru ambik dari savoc nru jugak..designnya lain sikit...yang peliknnya shunt cablenya yang tak seberapa tu harganya sampai dua ratus, sensor baru cuma 60 ringit..tak tau sebab apa..

Top Dead Center sensor is also known as Crankshaft Position sensor, Crank Angle sensor, Magnetic Speed sensor. It's known in Proton inventory as Engine Speed sensor.

Symptoms of problems related to TDC sensor.
1. Hard to start problem especially in the morning. Sometimes need many turns then can only start.
2. Second gear jerking at low RPM. ( A minor symptom that will lead to more serious hard starting No.1 and stalling No.3)
3. The engine will suddenly stall at traffic lights. Needs many turns to restart the engine.
The causes of the Problem
1. Small metal filings from the flywheel/clutch area will stick to the magnetic tip of the sensor and corrupt the signal.
2. The bleeder screw is directly above the sensor. The coolant from the bleeder could contaminate the sensor area which does not seal against the hole. After removing the sensor, you could actually see the rusty coloured flywheel/sensing teeth while peeking into the rectangular hole.
3. Loose connection of the sensor's wire socket.
How to solve the Problem
1. Claim for a new sensor from Proton if your car is still under warranty,
else
2. Clean the sensor.
How to locate, remove and clean the sensor.
Firstly, need to remove the stock airbox. A step by step instruction on how to remove it is shown in the link. The area we're going to work on is between the engine and battery.

Tools needed, a ratchet, an extension bar, 10mm socket to remove the bolts. A pocket magnet pickup comes in handy to insert the bolts in such a lack of space engine bay.
Remove the 2 big white clips fastening the small and big coolant hoses. Try locate the sensor which is under the coolant pipe and thermostat housing. Remove battery for easier access (optional).
Remove the metal bracket that's holding a wiring loom which directly obstruct the sensor. The bracket is bolted on the back of the engine block using 1 bolt.
You can pull the wire loom to work on the sensor's two bolts. Use and extention to unscrew the bolts.
Clean the sensor, especially on the magnetic tip with a clean cloth.
The rusty colour flywheel inside the hole.
How to install the new type of TDC sensor
New TDC sensor with Shunt Cable package. Pictures were contributed by fhartzli from Savoc NRU. Thanks bro!
Remove and unsheath the TDC sensor wires.
Cut and strip the wires of its insulator.
Join the two pairs of wires, yellow to yellow and green to pink. Insert the protective tubes that come with the shunt cable package.
Wrap with insulator tapes. Then sheath the wires back with the corrugated tubes. Done and it's that easy.

Update terbaru...
last week aku hantar keta aku kat glenmarie.. aku cerita panjang lebar problem aku.. pastu aku mintak dia tukar jer speed sensor..
Bila aku datang balik petang tu (aku ni jenis bizi sket, tak dapat nak tunggu kat situ)... aku tengok kat borang tu, mekanik tu tulis "clean sensor" .. he'eleee..
Bila aku approach mekanik tu, dia kata sensor orait lagik.. perlu bersihkan saja.. Anyway, dia janji kalau jadik lagi ... dia akan tukar sensor tu..
So far, dah dekat seminggu.. orait jer nampak. Kalau nak meragam pun, aku harap biarlah cepat2 sikit sebab mileage aku dah 43000.. takut abis warranty nanti.. |
