Dah baca abis buku Sidney Sheldon - The Doomsday Conspiracy.. So far... ok la.. Mungkin sebab first time baca novel Sidney... Jalan cerita dia menarik, cuma macam ada something yang saya tak berapa nak layan sangat dengan buku tu, tapi tak tau la ape..
Saya akan baca buku SIdney yang lain, wat masa ni dah ada jumpa 4 ebooks novel2 Sidney..
One more thing, saya memang minat dengan buku tentang mistery... Sebelum ni saya ada baca novel English, judul dia Ella... and saya rasa saya lebih suka buku ni berbanding buku The Doomsday Conspiracy.. =) |

i'm also trying to read Sydney Sheldon's Nothing Last's Forever.[dont tell anyone, but i hate his books b4 this...dont know why ] and i was too ignorant to know anything about him that i once thot he's a SHE ! :malu: [about this book?hmm...wht i can say is that his knowledge of medicine's quite superficial...disheartening to read...but read it nonetheless, I.

since u kinda like Sheldon's. maybe u can try n read Agatha Christie's? i dont know what books to recommend coz i've nvr read them, but their genre's the same wif Sheldon's. and she's known as the 'Queen of Mystery.

tapi sure raeshad terkejut kalau tahu, sidney sheldon sebenarnya penulis skrip 'genie in a bottle', sebuah siri English yang sangat popular zaman 70-an dahulu, di mana seorang lieutenant ni, terjumpa satu genie di dalam botol, dan genie tersebut menjadi khadamnya. very hilarious due to lots of miscommunication and misunderstanding |

waahhh...byknyer....baru jer abiskan Nothing Lasts Forever by him....tak best la plak...i was rushing through to the ending....
sbb:
1. plot - takder yang misterinye kat sinih pun. and terlalu typical.psl euthanasia....and die nyer ending is soooooooo predictable...i 've guessed it[right] since the Prologue lagik....
2. characters - kebanyakan characters adalah karakter stereotype. Kat yang 'kecundang' ngan lelaki, pastuh trus buang llk dr hidup dier. Honey - using his sexuality through out life + the fact that she soooowanted to be a nurse, but COULDNT bcoz she was a Taft. Paige - terlalu 'baik' and mulia kononnyer....+ perjumpaan dier ngan Justin......and etc etc etc....tak larat nk citer
3. Overall - for a FIRST book of Sheldon yang rae bacer, buku ni mmg a total letdown. :kant:
tapi, that doesnt mean i'm saying that he's a BAD writer....maybe it's just that this book not that great...
i've to search for his Doomsday Conspiracy nih, sbb it was rumoured his Best work????

raeshad, ss' works are straight-forward and does not have much twist in plot. they are popular due to the 'good alway prevail over evil' theme, never give up attitude etc. his books are not mysteries and readers are not supposed to guess the storyline, rather readers should enjoy the stories as they are being told. good luck. |

Hahah, same la here.. Ingatkan dulu Sidney nih pompuan, alih2 lelaki rupanya..
Agatha punya buku ni ada saya download yang version ebooks... sidney sheldon pun ada gak download.. Tapi tula, nak membaca eBooks yang susah sikit, tak mudah di bawa ke mana2, saya nih jenis suka baca novel masa naik LRT, takpun masa nak tido... Anyway, nanti ada masa saya baca la.. (eBooks agatha download kat jiwang.org)
Da vinci Code pun ada ebook, tak baca lagi.. Lagi satu, macam takda feel la nak baca da vinci ni, pasal dengar2, ada kaitan dengan religious kan? :hmm: |
