ni baca depa dok sembang2 pasal harga ikan salmon nih.

posting 3/2009


Isi ikan salmon, sekilo dalam RM50. Kenkadang boleh mencecah sampai RM70. Tapi kepala ikan salmon baru RM13.9 sekilo. Ni setakat harga yg saya tengok kat Carrefour.

Asam Tumis(pedas) Kepala Salmon



Bahan-bahan:

Yang penting kepala ikan salmonlah kan tapi campurlah bahagian2 lain
3 sudu cili kisar ~ jika ingin pedas, tambahkan
1 labu bawang besar ~ dikisar
3 ulas bawang merah ~ dikisar
3 ulas bawang putih ~ dikisar
1inci halia ~ dikisar
Sedikit kunyit serbuk/hidup
Sedikit belacan
Air asam jawa secukupnya
Bunga kantan dan daun kesum secukupnya
Garam dan gula ~ secukup rasa
Air
Minyak untuk menumis.


Cara Penyediaan:

Panaskan minyak, tumis bahan yang dikisar sehingga naik baunya. Masukkan pula cili kisar dan tumis sehingga garing. Perlahankan api dan masukkan ikan. Selepas itu, masukkan pula jus asam jawa dan biarkan api perlahan sehingga mendidih. Letaklah garam dan gula secukup rasa. Tutup periuk dan biarkan sehingga masak.

Kari Kepala Ikan Salmon (Salmon Fish Head Curry)





   1. Put in two generous tablespoonfulls of oil in a pot and saute 1 1/2 chopped up onion in the
       hot oil until softened.

   2. Make a thick paste by mixing two heaped tablespoonfulls of fish curry powder with a wee
       bit of water. Add this to the softened frying onions. Fry the paste in the oil till fragrant and
       'naik minyak'.

   3. Add water to the frying paste mixture, plonk in the fish head and let it simmer.

   4. Add in vegetables of your choice (such as carrots, okra, 1/4 head of cabbage). Just make
       sure that all the veg is being submerged in the kuah.

   5. Salt the dish and let it simmer.

   6. Add in some tamarind juice (or, in my case, a couple of dashes of lemon juice) and simmer
       till fish is all cooked and softened.

   7. Enjoy with rice.

Ikan ni memang a star in my family. Marinated, pan fried goes with potatoes and asparagus. Pastu I made my own creamy mushroom sauce with black pepper.

Selalunya aku beli yang fresh di pasar taman tun.  Uncle tu filet siap2 untuk aku. Bawa balik basuh tinggal masak je.

Kalau fresh takde bau. Rasa sweet, lemak, juicy dan sangat sedap.
Kalau dia berbau, masin, keras dan dry.. itu maknanya dia tak fresh.
Aku dah try jenis frozen prepacked.  Hanyir dan teruk rasanya puiii.. hehehe. .

mcm mana nk buat cajun roasted ni..misz mmg penggemar salmon..selalu grill gitu je..marinated dgn garam,parsley dan oregano sikit,then grill dgn butter..hihi

kalo g Jaya Grocer mereka ada section yg boleh masak terus salmon ni ngan pasta.. cubalaaa x mahal sgt, kalo skeping adalaaa RM25+-
