VAMPS Releasing New Song in December! And This Song from "BEAST" Will be Re-Arranged Therefore!
This year in July VAMPS have just released their latest album "BEAST" and from the songs on the album the track "MEMORIES will be released as a single in a newly arranged version in December this year. This single has been set within the storm of releases during their hectic touring schedule in 2010.
As "MEMORIES" will be re-arranged for the release, the CD+DVD version will be containing the music clip for the song. It has been completely re-recorded overseas, along with the "PIANO DUET", which had also been part of the album previously. With these two songs in a new version each, we hope you check them out!
Moreover, this month, VAMPS will be presenting the live event tour "HALLOWEEN PARTY 2010", where as on October 27th, bands like SCANDAL and on October 31st idol group S/mileage will be performing in an unseen collaboration until now. We hope you look forward to this as well!
Rock duo VAMPS held the final stage for their “VAMPS LIVE 2010 BEAST WORLD TOUR” in Chile on November 6th. The tour stretched across 6 countries and had 11 electrifying stages.
When the duo came out, they first greeted the 5,000-member audience in Spanish, before screaming, “Are you ready?”
They performed 20 songs including their upcoming single, “MEMORIES” (set to be released on December 15th). Moreover, they delighted their fans by yelling, “CHI CHI CHI LE LE LE VIVA CHILE” – a popular Chilean expression that became the heartwarming motto during the miners’ accident.
VAMPS released their latest album “BEAST” in Chile, and it reached the #4 spot on the music chart – an achievement never before achieved by a Japanese artist. Although VAMPS will cease their unit activities for a while, HYDE said that he received phenomenal empowerment through the world tour.
VAMPS to release photo album detailing their world tour
This fall VAMPS went on a popular world tour and now that they’ve wrapped it up successfully they have announced that they will be releasing a photo book that details the entire event on December 4th.
The photo album will go on sale at the 4 DAYS concert event held at the Yoyogi National Stadium and will be available on the first day of the performances. Their world tour started on September 26th in Taiwan and took them to ten different locations worldwide before ending on November 6th in Chile. The photo book will contain scenes from the shows as well as listings of the staff’s “real-time tweets” that were made during the performances. By combining these into a book it should give a great play-by-play overview of the entire tour for fans to enjoy.
With the world tour complete, VAMPS will now be focusing on their Japan tour of “VAMPS LIVE 2010 BEAST.” The tour resumes November 12th at the Zepp Nagoya and will have new goods for the second half of the tour.

L'Arc~en~Ciel's HYDE voices himself for "Bakuman" anime
It was recently revealed that musician HYDE (L'Arc~en~Ciel, VAMPS) is doing his first voice acting work for the "Bakuman" anime series. At a post-recording event on Monday, he lamented that he couldn't be natural in his role because he was nervous.
The anime is based on the "Bakuman" manga, created by the "Death Note" duo of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The story revolves around two aspiring manga artists, and one of the characters in the story is a mangaka and musician named Koogy. HYDE is providing the voice for himself, appearing in the anime as Koogy's producer.
In addition to his voice role, HYDE rewrote the English lyrics of the VAMPS song "GET UP" into Japanese, and that version is used as one of Koogy's songs in the show.
"Bakuman" airs on Saturdays at 6:00pm on NHK Educational.
