Wigan 1-2 Tottenham

Rafael van der Vaart and Gareth Bale struck early for Tottenham at the DW Stadium but they were almost undone by a stirring fightback from 10-man Wigan.

Harry Redknapp's men should have been out of sight at half-time but they only had two early efforts to show from 45 minutes in which they were totally dominant.

A neat 49th-minute finish from Mohamed Diame thrust the Latics back in to contention and, despite Steve Gohouri's 63rd-minute red card, Roberto Martinez's men threatened right to the end.

Van der Vaart stepped in to replace Jermain Defoe after the Spurs striker picked up a virus, with Sandro also coming in for Niko Kranjcar in the only other change to the side that thumped Liverpool 4-0 last weekend.

Martinez made two changes from the 3-1 loss at Everton, with Diame and Gohouri in for the injured Hugo Rodallega and Adrian Lopez.

Spurs looked sleek from the start and came close in the opening minute when Scott Parker found Kyle Walker on the right and his cross was bundled clear by James McCarthy.

And Harry Redknapp's men grabbed the lead in the third minute when Emmanuel Adebayor pounced on Maynor Figueroa's awful back-pass, beat Gary Caldwell and crossed for Van der Vaart to sweep home.

The visitors were looking devastating in the opening minutes and Adebayor once again carved the home defence apart with a through-ball to Bale, whose effort was cleared.

Then moments later Walker delivered another pinpoint pass to Adebayor, who blasted his rising shot just over the bar when he should have scored.

Wigan were having a nightmare, and Spurs should have capitalised again on eight minutes when Ali Al Habsi panicked into clearing a back-pass straight to Parker, who was closed down.

The hosts finally fashioned their first chance in the 12th minute when Jordi Gomez delivered a free-kick from the right and both Diame and Victor Moses were close to connecting.

Spurs' seemingly inevitable second goal arrived in the 23rd minute when Bale was left unmarked in the box and was able to flick home Luka Modric's right-wing corner.

The Wales winger almost repeated the feat in an identical move five minutes later as the inept Wigan rearguard showed no signs of learning from their mistakes.
As Spurs continued their relentless pressure, Adebayor fed Bale who burst in from the left and drilled a low shot which was saved well by Al Habsi on the half-hour.

Martinez swapped Jordi Gomez for Ronnie Stam at the break and his side started the second half with more purpose, a dangerous Moses cross booted out of the six-yard box by Younes Kaboul.

And Stam was instrumental in the Latics reducing the deficit on 49 minutes, pouncing on a poor Benoit Assou-Ekotto clearance to feed Diame, who twisted and fired a superb low shot past Brad Friedel.

With the game suddenly wide open, Spurs poured forward straight from the restart and Adebayor drove in a low shot which was blocked by Al Habsi.

Wigan looked like a different team, with Moses suddenly incisive on the left flank, Diame bossing centre-field and Caldwell almost setting Franco Di Santo clear with a pinpoint pass.
But their revival threatened to be cut short in the 63rd minute when Gohouri was sent off for a second bookable offence after hacking down Bale.

Modric had a hopeful penalty appeal waved away by referee Jon Moss in the 68th minute and the action quickly swung to the other end, where Friedel saved comfortably from Moses.

Martinez made a double substitution on 73 minutes with Conor Sammon and James McArthur replacing Di Santo and Ben Watson as Wigan sought an improbable draw.

Kaboul almost made sure of the points for Spurs six minutes from time when he bulleted in a free-kick which struck the Wigan wall and clattered the bar.

There was still time for the Latics to launch a series of late assaults, with McArthur coming close from long range and Sammon miscuing a shot in the box, but they could not find the equaliser.

Tottenham vs Arsenal Player Ratings
Tottenham moved up to sixth position after beating Arsenal 2-1 in the North London derby at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur
Brad Friedel - 6.5
The oldest member to participate in a North London derby was definitely the quieter of the two keepers.

Ledley King - 7.5
A strong figure at the back for Tottenham, winning the headers and kept his defence organized.

Younes Kaboul - 7
Used every means necessary to keep the Arsenal forwards quiet, and he executed that brilliantly.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto - 7
Watched the runs of Walcott well and did not commit unnecessarily. Went forward and defended together with Bale down Tottenham's left beautifully.

Kyle Walker - 7.5
Fearless going forward, and it was his thunderous shot that snatched the three points from Arsenal.

Luka Modric - 6
A far cry from the Modric of last season, probably because of the Chelsea saga in the summer?

Scott Parker (89' off) - 7.5
The hard tackling midfielder covered his defenders superbly, ensuring there weren't any holes in his back four. Should have done better with that one on one chance with Szczesny.

Gareth Bale - 7.5
Kept the Tottenham fans on the edge of their seats every time he went on his explosive runs. Like most Tottenham matches, Bale had plenty of shots but could not keep them on target.

Rafael Van der Vaart (63' off) - 7
A well taken goal, although there was a debate on whether he used his hands to bring the ball down. Taken off after he was seen limping around the pitch.

Emmanuel Adebayor (85' off) - 6
Didn't have the chance to sprint over to the Arsenal supporters as his return to London this time round was a quiet one. Hardly did anything other than creating the goal for Van der Vaart.

Jermain Defoe - 5
A smart inclusion to play a quick forward against the two slower central defenders, but Defoe struggled to make an impact the whole time he was on the field.

Substitutions
Sando (63' on) - 7
A substitution that had an impact on the game as he was partners in crime with Parker, breaking down all the Arsenal attack especially after the restart when Tottenham were trapped in their own half.
Jake Livermore (85' on)
N/A
Vedran Corluka (89' on)
N/A

Newcastle vs Tottenham Player Ratings
It was an entertaining game at St James Park on Sunday as Newcastle and Tottenham played out a 2-2 draw.

Tottenham

Brad Friedel - 7
As expected, it was another steady show from the veteran American. One slight criticism could perhaps be his indecision which led to Ba's goal, but all in all, no real mistakes once again from Friedel.

Kyle Walker - 7
The England U-21 international defended stoutly all day, and regularly ventured forward to provide support. Could still work on his final delivery, but Walker looks like one for the future.

Ledley King (off 30') - 6.5
Was proving to be the usual calming presence at the back until an injury problem once again forced him off on the half-hour mark.

Younes Kaboul - 6
Nothing fantastic from the Frenchman. Didn't make any glaring errors, but wasn't particularly inspirational at the back either.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto - 6.5
Provided some support when Spurs were on the attack, but considering Obertan hardly troubled him, Assou-Ekotto should have looked to venture forward with more frequency.

Gareth Bale - 6
Disappointing game from the Tottenham's wing wizard. Looked lost in the first half when he was deployed on the right, and took awhile to get into the game when he was finally shifted back to his favourite left-wing position. Still, never threatened the Newcastle defence much.

Jake Livermore - 6.5
An energetic display from the Spurs youngster, although his distribution was haphazard at times, and he did panic when pressured by the likes of Cabaye and Tiote.

Scott Parker - 7.5
Proving to be one of the pick-ups of the summer transfer window. Never stopped running, and was surprisingly at the heart of many good attacking moves. Will be disappointed with some of his final balls though, although one that found its intended target ended up in a goal for Defoe.

Luka Modric - 6.5
Disappointing game from the Croatian international, who tried his hardest. But ultimately it just wasn't his day. Failed to get past his man on a number of occasions, and was also surprisingly careless with his passing. Better days will come for the Spurs talisman, whose talent is undoubted.

Rafael van der Vaart (off 64') - 6.5
Gave Spurs the lead from the penalty spot, but hardly provided a creative spark. No surprise to see the Dutchman hauled off just after the hour mark for Jermain Defoe.

Emmanuel Adebayor (off 90') - 8
May not have gotten on the scoresheet, but Adebayor proved a real handful for Newcastle, despite being doubled-teamed at times by Taylor and Coloccini. Wasn't afraid to drop deep and pick up the ball, and regularly charged straight at the Newcastle goal. Earned Spurs a penalty in the first-half, which Van der Vaart converted.

Subs
Sebastian Bassong (on 30') - 6.5
Relatively decent performance from Bassong, considering it must not be easy having to fill the boots of King.

Jermain Defoe (on 64') - 7.5
Like his opposite number Ameobi, Defoe did what you want from any substitute. He was brought on to make an impact and he sure did, turning on the edge of the area and firing an unstoppable shot past Krul in the 68th minute. Gave his opponent a headache with his constant movement.

Roman Pavlyuchenko (on 90') - N/A
Hardly enough time for the out-of-favour Russian to make an impact.

Blackburn 1-2 Tottenham: Van the man sends Spurs into fifth

A double from Rafael Van Der Vaart in a 2-1 win over Blackburn ensured Spurs extended their unbeaten run to six games and remained hot on the tails of the Premier League’s top four in fifth spot.
The Dutch international has been giving boss Harry Redknapp a selection headache so far this season after good performances by Jermain Defoe while he was out injured helped power Tottenham up the league after a poor start to the season.
But Redknapp got his team selection right at Ewood Park as van der Vaart put in a star turn to send Blackburn bottom of the league.
After 15 minutes he gave Spurs the lead finishing past ex-Lilywhite Paul Robinson following good wing-play by rampaging right-back Kyle Walker.
Steve Kean’s men got themselves back on level terms when Mauro Formica slammed the ball home from inside the area just before the half-hour mark from Chris Samba’s knock down.
But van der Vaart was able to seal Spurs’ victory when he curled the ball beyond Robinson from 20-yards eight minutes after the restart.

Norwich vs Tottenham Player Ratings

It was the Gareth Bale show as Tottenham cruised to a 2-0 win at Norwich City on Tuesday.

Norwich
John Ruddy - 6
Showed good handling and shot-stopping abilities throughout the match but might have done better to prevent the two goals by Bale - especially the first which went under his hands.

Zak Whitbread - 6
Committed a couple of mistakes in the first-half including and could have been easily punished if not for the poor finishing by Adebayor. Picked up his game after the break and did well overall.

Russell Martin - 6.5
One of the stand-out players for the new-boys. Made several important interceptions and tackles although he nearly gifted Spurs an opening goal in the first-half when he lost the ball to Bale, who could only blast the ball over.

Adam Drury (Off 75') - 6
Had a busy afternoon trying to contain the pace and threat of Walker. Did a decent job restricting him and giving him little space to deliver quality crosses.

Ritchie De Laet (Of 64') - 5
The defender on loan from Manchester United initially started out on the left but was run ragged by Bale in the second-half when he was switched to the right.

Wesley Hoolahan - 6.5
Hailed as the Irish 'Messi', the midfielder was anything but. He did show some neat touches but struggled to find his team-mates with his passes during the match.

David Fox - 6
Struggled to have an impact on the game against the likes of Modric and Sandro in midfield.

Andrew Surman - 5.5
Was hardly a threat to Walker on the left-wing. Was inches away from giving Norwich the lead through a free-kick but sent his effort just wide.

Andrew Crofts (Off 75') - 6
Kept possession well for Norwich but could have contributed more in terms of crosses.

Grant Holt - 7
Was a constant threat to Spurs with his strength and held the ball well for his side. Was lucky to stay on the pitch after what looked like an elbow challenge on Assou-Ekotto in the first half.

Steve Morison - 6
Was lively in attack for Norwich but given little glimpses of the goal to make any meaningful difference.

Substitutions
Leon Barnett (On 64') - 5.5
Replaced the injured De Laet at the hour-mark but failed to make any impact.
Anthony Pilkington (On 75') - NA
Elliott Bennett (On 75') - NA

Tottenham
Brad Friedel - 7
Not the busiest of evenings for the veteran goalkeeper. But showed safe hands when called upon.

Younes Kaboul - 7.5
Was Spurs' pillar of strength in defence and more than coped with the physical challenge posed by Holt.

William Gallas - 7.5
Dealt with everything that Norwich threw at the Spurs defence and was imperious in the air throughout the match.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto (Off 72') - 6.5
Was constant outlet of attack for Spurs on the left. Replaced by Rose with 20minutes to go.

Kyle Walker - 7
More of an attacker than a defender for Spurs. Was constantly bombing down the right-wing and gave the Norwich defence a tough time.

Sandro - 6
Not the best of game for the midfielder. He looked happy to sit in midfield and spread play and could have contributed more to the attack.

Scott Parker (Off 87') - 7.5
A typical Parker performance. The former West Ham midfielder was at the heart of Spurs' play throughout the match and performed his defensive duties well.

Gareth Bale - 8
A mixed first-half performance from the Welshman as he was wasteful with the chances had. But it was the Gareth Bale show after the break, showing great composure for the opening goal and unmatchable pace for the second.

Rafael Van der Vaart (Off 86') - 6
The Dutch midfielder is struggling to rediscover his early season form and had a quiet evening in midfield.

Emmanuel Adebayor - 7.5
Finishing wise it was disappointing by the striker on loan from Manchester City. But his hold-up and link-up play was crucial to Spurs as he set up Bale for the opening goal.

Luka Modric - 7
Not the best of games for the Croatian midfielder, although he did show signs of brilliance and set up Bale for his second goal with a perfect through pass.

Substitutions
Danny Rose (On 72') - 5.5
Had little impact after coming on for Assou-Ekotto
Niko Kranjcar (On 86') - NA
Jake Livermore (On 87') - NA

Player Ratings: Tottenham 2-0 Everton

Harry Redknapp's men tightened their grip on third spot in the Premier League after goals from Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto saw off a disciplined Toffees side

Tottenham

Brad Friedel   6.5
Everton's best chances were all off target in what was a quiet night for one of the three Americans on the pitch.

Gareth Bale    7.5
Hit-and-miss in the first half but far more threatening after the break, whether breaking from the left or through the middle. Came close to scoring in the second half and sent shivers through the visitors every time he gathered the ball and put his foot on the accelerator.

Younes Kaboul   7.5
Has always had the raw ingredients to be a dominant Premier League centre-back and is increasingly allying concentration to his power. Formidable display.

Michael Dawson   7.0
Looked like he had never been away in his first league start since the August humiliation against Manchester City. Commanding in the air and never stop cajoling his colleagues.

Kyle Walker   7.0
Bombed forward at every opportunity and made a few important clearances at the back.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto     Top of the Match      9.0

Outstanding display. Defended and attacked with great intelligence, and plenty of quality. Sent over some delicious second-half crosses before adding to his legend in these parts with a fabulous second goal from all of 35 yards.

Aaron Lennon    7.0
Was blowing by the time he was subbed with 13 minutes left but showed how much he has been missed by offering pace and goal threat on both flanks. Took full advantage of Baines' error to steal in and score the opener.

Rafael van der Vaart   7.0
Dictated the pace of the game with an inventive display in the roving role he likes best.

Luka Modric   7.0
His decision-making and final ball lacked speed in the first half but grew in authority and had Everton exactly where he wanted them in the last half-hour.

Jake Livermore   6.5
Had 18 stitches in his lip after clashing with Kaboul last week but filled in capably alongside Modric in the absence of injured pair Sandro and Parker.

Emmanuel Adebayor  6.0
Got a good ovation when he was subbed late on but his output did not match his industry. Too many Spurs moves broke down because of his heavy touch.

• Substitutions
Steven Pienaar   N/A

Put in the shop window by Redknapp in the closing stages in an unsubtle attempt to entice David Moyes.

Roman Pavlyuchenko  N/A
Replaced Adebayor in the closing minutes.

Player Ratings: Tottenham 1-1 Wolves

Battling defensive performance from a determined Wolves side restricted an off-colour Spurs side to just a share of the points

Tottenham
Brad Friedel   6.5

Maybe could have done better with the first goal. His attempted save wasn't helped by the presence of Luka Modric but helping the ball back into the danger area was a gift for Fletcher. Made an excellent save right after half-time to keep Spurs in the game from a Frimpong volley.

Gareth Bale     Flop of the Match    6.0
Didn't get much joy up against Kevin Foley in the first period so began to drift inside as he has done to much success lately. Shooting boots were awry though and he spooned one good chance in particular over the bar early in the second half. Late free-kick flew over the Wolves crossbar. This was a really off-colour performance from the Welshman even in spite of his squared assist for Modric.

Younes Kaboul   7.0
One marauding run opened a chance for Spurs in the first half and he was otherwise solid at the back. His contribution going forward should not be overlooked - the rare but powerful forays into the opposition half often open space for his team.

Michael Dawson   6.5
Very shaky start where a couple of loose passes gave Wolves possession in dangerous areas. Aside from that, he came back into the game well and restricted Wolves to few chances in the second half.

Kyle Walker   7.0
Did his best to get forward but found it harder to link with Lennon than usual. Had a touch more space to support the forwards in the second half but was often pegged back by the threat of Matt Jarvis. Later in the game the right-back managed to typically fly forward and unleash a goal-bound effort. A deflection meant it didn't trouble Hennessey though.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto  6.5
Showed a lot of desire to get up and support the attacks but his passing was sometimes amiss. Not his most productive game on the ball and was booked midway through the second half for a sneaky trip when trying to recover possession.

Aaron Lennon   6.5
Sometimes lacked support in the wide right area and was subsequently shifted to the left in the second half where he had more joy against Kevin Foley. Was taken off for Defoe on the 73rd minute. Not his best game.

Scott Parker   6.5
Industrious performance showed that he was definitely back to full fitness. The midfielder put in a typically gut-busting box to box performance with few mistakes. Couldn't contribute enough going forward to create any clear cut chances - but not for the want of trying.

Rafael van der Vaart   6.0
Took a blow to the head early in the first half from a defensive clearance and it seemed to send his radar a little askew. Most definitely didn't have his shooting boots on and was a periphery figure at times. Came closest with a 25 yard free-kick that whizzed just wide of Hennessey's left-hand post. Other than that, the Dutchman lacked involvement.

Luka Modric   7.5
Had the first chance of the game but his low drive skidded just wide of the left-hand post. Had a couple of tentative strikes including a volley at Hennessey but his second half shot was more than good enough to pull Spurs level. Overall, did well in the middle and grew into the game. The lack of direction in Spurs' shape in front of him made his playmaking job tougher

Emmanuel Adebayor   6.0
Worked the channels as he often does for Spurs but wasn't at his best around the box. Showed a lack of awareness, or is it a goalscorer's instinct, to tap home Bale's on-target pass from an offside position. Aside from that he lacked conviction in his movements, running over one ball in the box that fell to no-one in a white shirt. Not on the same wave length at times.

• Substitutions
Danny Rose   N/A
Entered late on for Assou-Ekotto

Jermain Defoe  6.5
Came on after 73 minutes for Aaron Lennon. Had one slight-chance that was saved by Hennessey. Little else.

Player Ratings: Manchester City 3-2 TottenhamA last-gasp Balotelli penalty sealed victory for the Premier League leaders after the visitors had come from two down in this five-goal thriller at the Etihad Stadium
Tottenham
Brad Friedel   6.0

The veteran American had no chance with any of the City goals and had to be at his sharpest to produce a strong first-half save from Aguero's powerful strike. Good distribution on the whole.

Kyle Walker    6.0
A strong, composed defensive display from the young right-back, but he will be disappointed not to have tracked Nasri better for City's opener. Always a threat when he bombed forward at pace and ran at Clichy.

Younes Kaboul  6.0
Mad moment as he stepped up before City's opener, giving Nasri a huge gap to run into. Sometimes looked a little clumsy against Aguero but was strong in the air and made some important interceptions.

Ledley King   5.5
The Tottenham captain returned from injury and produced a composed display - until a clumsy challenge on Balotelli to concede the penalty for the winner.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto   5.0
Good positionally but often far too casual both on the ball and in his attempts to win the ball.

Gareth Bale     Top of the Match    7.5
The Welshman seemed a little frustrated until he popped up in the 65th minute with a stunning equaliser, curled into the top corner from 25 yards. Threatening thereafter as he played with more confidence and ran at the City defence. Created a brilliant late chance for Defoe.

Aaron Lennon   6.0
The winger's pace was always a threat, especially on the counterattack when he looked to run at Clichy. Provided the assist for Bale's goal when he rolled a simple square pass to the Welshman.

Scott Parker   6.0
Angered the City supporters with a series of strong challenges for which he was eventually booked. Energy and experience were important for the visitors, especially in the latter stages.

Luka Modric   6.5
The classy Croatian was never afraid to demand the ball and got joy from spinning passes out to the wide areas. Never particularly opened up the City defence but was the key player when Spurs had spells of possession.

Rafael van der Vaart   5.5
The Dutchman played an important tactical role in the first half as he dropped into midfield. Didn't find much space to pick passes and was limited to potshots at goal before being replaced by Livermore in the 67th minute.

Jermain Defoe   5.5
Almost anonymous in general play as he continually lost challenges but popped up with the goal that put Spurs back in the game. Good composure to take the ball past Hart and slot home. Will have nightmares about miss from a yard out in the closing stages.

• Substitutions
Jake Livermore  6.0

Came on in the 67th minute to replace Van der Vaart. Worked hard but lacked quality on the ball.

Steven Pienaar   N/A
Replaced Lennon in the 88th minute.

Patut dapat kad merah - Spurs

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- AGENSI

Player Ratings: Tottenham 3-1 Wigan
Luka Modric and Gareth Bale were on the scoresheet as Spurs picked up all three points at White Hart Lane to continue their Premier League title charge

Tottenham
Brad Friedel   6.5

Did nothing in the first half because nothing was asked of him. Had a couple of simple saves to make in the second but could do nothing about Wigan's deflected goal.

Gareth Bale     Top of the Match    8.5

Wonderful finish for his first goal, chesting Modric's pass into his path before volleying past Al-Habsi. The winger showed great awareness of the gaps around him, constantly switching with Kranjcar and dropping deep when required. Had a couple of efforts that were repelled by Al-Habsi but, overall, looked back to his devastating self, delivering another trademark goal in the second half. His shift and shot low past Al-Habsi was finely placed and was unlucky not to grab a hat-trick.

Younes Kaboul   7.5
Calm and composed at the back, dealt with most that was required and was very unlucky not to score from one of two Van der Vaart corners.

Ledley King   7.0
Maybe losing a bit of pace but King still has the nous to provide stern cover at the back. Could do little with the goal Spurs conceded but will no doubt be disappointed.

Kyle Walker   6.5
Began with his usual detail of marauding up and down the right flank and stuck to his task encouragingly, providing a useful outlet for the midfield.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto  6.5
Not his best game but was as composed as ever and provided a decent outlet on the left. Was lucky to escape punishment for a studs-up challenge on Di Santo

Scott Parker  7.0
I seem to say this every week but he was full of energy and kept Spurs ticking along nicely. Put few passes astray and was rabid in the tackle.

Rafael van der Vaart   6.5
Started well and provided a couple of chances through well-taken corners but was replaced after 31 minutes with a calf injury as Livermore came on.

Luka Modric   8.5
Majestic display from Tottenham's little artist. His superb vision created the first goal with a fine pass over the Wigan defence. Showed great reactions to latch onto a deflected clearance to slot low and hard past Al-Habsi for Spurs' second goal.

Niko Kranjcar   7.5
Started off on the right flank but drifted inside to good effect. Had one early chance in the box to shoot but opted for the dummy before cutting back to Modric who blazed over. Popped up on the wide left again to curl his effort into Al-Habsi's hands. Second half saw him come into his own as he began to dictate play despite some hefty challenges.

Emmanuel Adebayor  6.5
Guilty of a couple of missed chances inside the box but his presence is of great benefit to Spurs. The movement and ability to link with the midfield is always welcome. Made way for Lancaster.

• Substitutions
Jake Livermore   6.5

Enforced change with Van der Vaart injured, came on and looked solid alongside Parker. Had to move to right-back once Walker went off and was exposed for their goal.

Sandro   6.0
Came on for Kyle Walker with 15 to play and tried to get involved on his comeback.

Cameron Lancaster  6.0
The 19-year-old made his professional debut coming on for Adebayor with 12 minutes to play. Looked lively but had little of the ball.

Official: Tottenham complete signing of Everton striker Louis Saha

Frenchman seals move from the Toffees to London for the rest of the season after David Moyes takes decision to let former Manchester United forward leave the club.

Tottenham have completed the signing of Everton striker Louis Saha on a permanent deal with the club taking up the remainder of the Frenchman's six-month contract.

Harry Redknapp has swooped for the signature of the former Manchester United man to bolster his attacking options after Roman Pavlyuchenko was allowed to leave for Lokomotiv Moscow.

Redknapp told reporters: "It's a permanent deal, you know its not a long contract but I like Louis Saha, I have always rated him very highly.

"I think he's a fantastic player, good movement can score goals and I think he probably needs a change.

"He's done great at Everton but he's out of contract at the end of the year so David has let him go."

Saha has made 20 appearances for the Toffees this season scoring just two goals and hasn't found the net in his last 13 games.

The Frenchman joined David Moyes' side in 2008 from Manchester United after a string of injuries had tarnished his time with the Red Devils. He played 115 times for Everton in total scoring 35 goals.
