I rasa ni semua sbb masyarakat malaysia ni mcm pandang hina sket kat bahasa tamil, bangga kalau dpt ckp bahasa hindi. I pun tak tahu reason. Bahasa melayu pun byk asalnya bahasa tamil gak.
qates Post at 3-2-2010 17:35

I think Indian should be proud and deserve to have pride since Tamil too had contribution in SEA in ancient time. everyone have their right to be proud of their heritage. lagipon sini kat Malaysia, not in Thailand or Indonesia.

we have been among each others for such a long time, why not we use everyone's advantage to extend our boundaries in many activities such as economic, social development, and etc?

Tamil dan Hindi adalah berbeza bahasa la. Tak sama. Bollywood pakai bahasa Hindi, bahasa Hindi ni bahasa kebangsaan India. Bahasa Tamil ni bahasa org2 Tamil Nadu. Btw im mamak atau india muslim.

Agree with that, byk org yg macam malu bercakap dalam bahasa ibunda sendiri bila bercakap sesama bangsa. Thats very embarrasing. I pun tak tau ape yg rasa bangga sgt ckp english sesama bangsa sendiri. Mamak2 celup ni yg majoriti, sebenarnya diorang ni bodoh sbb budaya dan bahasa sendiri pun tak reti.

sayang lar, dorang dah tinggalkan kelebihan sendiri, especially Indian Muslims, heritage dorang sangat lar banyak n distinct... sbenarnya ramai jer non-Tamilians berminat dengan bahsa Tamil, cuma orang India kena la promosi sikit, let them see how popular Tamil is. skarang ni pon ada skolah agama yang dibuka orang2 India Muslim di Klang n Penang tapi dorang cuma kumpulkan dana secara persendirian n derma, x da bantuan mana2 agensi kerajaan. patut dicontohi sbenarnya kegigihan sebegini.

hi, banyak benda nak tanya ni... contohnya macam...

1) awak hendak makan apa?
2) saya hendak makan .....

perkara ni agak mengelirukan jugak especially bg orang yg x bertutur bahasa Eropah sb struktur bahasa Tamil ni lepas kita check nampak macam struktur bahasa Eropah la pulak. tq

Owh qates, I rs nak wat phrasebook Tamil sniri la mcm yg ringkas2 gitu... I ada kumpolkan banyak phrases nak mintak tolong qates tapi takot nanti akan terbazirkan masa qates. lain2 tu I dh reti baca huruf Tamil lepas terkial2 belajar sniri, sb I boleh baca n tulis huruf2 devanagri n thai, jadi kita pakai comparison dua2 jenis huruf tu dgn Tamil. tp I dh x reti nak tulis dlm tulisan english pulak bila nak tanya, takot salah ejaan....

nanti I cb letakkan sikit2 perkataan yg nak translate. I geram jugak kat stengah kawan2 India I especially yg ckp English tu, bkn nak ajar orang bhs Tamil, sakit hati betol bila kita tanya dorang, dorang wat macam acuh x acuh aje :@ Yang rajin ajar pon ada la beberapa kawan warga India, dorang ni mmg bangga sikit dgn bahasa Tamil, sikap yg baik.

1) awak hendak makan apa?---- Nee enna sappudo pore ?
2) saya hendak makan ----- Naa sappudo poren

Kata diri utk lelaki dan perempuan sama je. Contoh "naa" tu saya, "nee" tu awak. "Neenge" tu guna utk org tua, lebih hormat.
Tapi kalau ada ayat mcm "pergi la", kalau pompuan kata "podi", kalau laki kata "poda"

Bukan "padam", "paadam" maksudnya "lesson".

"padam" atau lebih tepat "padem" maksudnya gambar...

"saya hendak belajar cakap bahasa Tamil?"--- "Naa tamil kattukure poren", atau " Naa tamil pese kattukure poren"
