2010 machines ran intensely at first test of the season!On January 19th, manufacturers competing in the SUPER GT began jointtesting at Suzuka Circuit. The testing continues until the 21st.

5teams fielding brand new Honda HSV-010 GT, namely ARTA, REAL RACING,DOME RACING, NAKAJIMA RACING, and TEAM KUNIMITSU, showed up at Suzukawith all drivers of respective teams in accordance with theannouncement made yesterday. For last year's champion manufacturerLEXUS, Juichi Wakisaka and Andre Lotterer drove their TOM'S SC430 withCar no. 1, which only the champion is allowed to wear, along with TEAMLeMans, TEAM KRAFT, TEAM CERUMO, and TEAM SARD. For Nissan, NISMObrought in No. 23 and No.3 GT-R's plus 2 test cars (unconformed to theSUPER GT regulation). Satoshi Motoyama and Benoit Treluyer took thewheel. In addition, JIMGAINER from GT300 class ran No. 11 car andanother Ferrari F430 (unhomologated to the SUPER GT regulation).

Withthe Honda HSV-010 GT being in the center of attention, the morningsession started at 10 AM. Clear sky with 12 degrees temperature, it wasrather warm in a suntrap. As expected, DOME whips out 1 min 55.172 secat just 20 minutes into the morning session. Soon later, NISMO's No.3car (Benoit Treluyer) cuts down the time of HSV-010 GT to 1 min 54.787sec, which ended up to be the fastest time in the morning. No officialtimes from SC430's and Ferrari because LEXUS teams and JIMGAINER didn'tuse circuit's timing system. Towards the end of the 2-hour morningsession, DOME's HSV-010 GT came to a halt on the side of track, and, atturn 2, No. 23 GT-R went off the track. No major damage to both cars,it seemed.

Afternoon session began at 14 o'clock. Weathercontinued to be nice. Most of the participating cars stayed out longeron the track in the afternoon session, consequently accumulated thenumber of laps. Some teams may have executed a long-run testingprogram. DOME's HSV-010 GT recorded 1 min 54.723 sec, which became thefastest time of the day. At the end, DOME, NISMO's No. 23 car, and REALRACING's HSV were the only cars to put their lap time in the 54 secondsmark.

Although SC430's did not use circuit's timing system, tiremanufacturer's measuring device showed that TOM'S recorded an amazingtime of 1 minute and mid-52 seconds mark in the afternoon. Overall,LEXUS fleet had a good day throughout with TOM'S also setting time inlow-53 seconds mark in the morning along with other SC430's marking 53– 54 seconds.

Car stopped on the track in the morning, but everything else looked well for the team.

It was even difficult to see the rear view of HSV-010 GT at the Honda presentation, but here it is.
Can ARTA stick their tail out in front of the rivals?

NSX no more: Honda HSV-010 GT ready to race in SuperGT

The Honda NSX might be gone, but it's set to live on as the HSV-10 GT in Japan's SuperGT championship.

Although we don't have an official release or specs yet, we do have the image above and some preliminary details on the HSV-10 GT or Velocity Sports Honda. Built to the 2010 GT500 regulations, the new front/mid-engine racer from Honda is packing a 500+ hp, 3.4-liter V8 and sending power through the same Ricardo sequential manual gearbox fitted to the 2010 SuperGT cars from Nissan and Toyota. Underneath all that glorious carbon fiber is the same chassis Honda's been working on (originally as an NSX replacement) for the last two years. The SuperGT season opener is scheduled for March 20 and 21 of 2010, but we expect more details and a host of high-res images to hit soon.

ade tebace gak org komen, keter honda ni naseb2 je dpt masuk dlm GT tu sbb keter ni xde production. kete2 yang masuk GT tu syarat die msti kene production kat luar dulu. tapi honda ni pandai die kaw team kat rules and regulation, terus die masuk . ganti nsx die.

Distinctive dot design. Series of dots are in beautiful gradation.
Pattern on the dots and roof top resembles carbon materials to give impression of lightweight.
