One Piece 738 Spoiler Summaries

Chapter 738 Trebol army Special officer Sugar

As Leo looks for a chance to rush in with the Tatababasco, Trebol notices a fly flying by.
He uses his sticky goo like a bullet and instantly kills the fly, and punching it through the walls to outside.
The Tontattas are worried about Leo, but he claims even if he can catch a fly, he won’t catch me.
He goes rushing in for Sugar, but Robin stops him. “Wait, Leo!!”
Meanwhile in the factory…
500 Tontattas are working like slaves, in the SMILE plant.
It’s a greenhouse with Elegant Sunflower as sun light, and river of SAD flows from a SAD tank.
The Tontattas are used as labor because they are able to grow any plant in the world.
The Family goons abuse them as slaves. The Tontattas were fed rotten food and is in no shape to work, but the man asks them whether they want to save their princess or not.
They told them the Princess is ill, and only the SMILE can save her. They demand to see their princess,
but the man tells them he would not want to see them contaminated with the disease, and sheds a fake tear.
The Tontattas fall for it easily.
Robin stopped Leo because she saw the fly with her clone head.
Trebol shot the fly right between the eyes. His reflex is incredible, Leo would have been killed.
Usopp asks Robin what plan she has…
At a Pirate ship near by, the Bee Tontatta uses her powers and attacks the dock with army of Wasps.
Robin, dressed as a Donquxiote family member reports to Trebol that a pirate is attacking the docks, demanding a fair deal on the price. She leads Trebol out of the tower and to the dock.
The Tontattas plan to rush Sugar, but Usopp is not coming.
He plans to stay behind, and tells them he has their back.
The Tontattas surround Sugar and demand the release of their people, and even honestly tells her they plan to knock her out.
Sugar asks he is behind this uprising, as Tontattas are too stupid to realize they are being decieved.
She casts away her fruit basket, and is disgusted that they think she is weak.
Bunch of Tontattas rush her, but she quickly counters by moving her hands rapidly, touching every single Tontattas that attacked her. She turns them all into toys. She’s incredibly fast.
This is a contract. You must obey me until death. Go forth and kill everyone inside this tower!
Sugar picks up the nearby receiver and warns Trebol of the trap.
Trebol had already reached the pirate ship, and attacks them.
The pirates don’t fight back, and explain to him that they were attacked by wasps, and they have no qualms with the price.
Trebol realizes he has been deceived, and rushes back to fleeing Robin.
With incredible speed he catches up and jumps on top of Robin, but the Robin clone disappears without a trace.
He recognizes her face, and realizes that Straw Hats are down here and after Sugar.
Enraged, Trebol picks up the pirate ship and hurls it at the tower, destroying it.

The thrown pirate ship comes crashing into the hallway where Sugar and others are.
Usopp and Sugar both open their mouth wide in shock as they stare at the massive duck-shaped pirate ship above them.
The ship falls and the dock workers run in panic
Robin rescues Usopp, but Leo and the Tontattas are captured by Trebol
Trebol asks where the others are, and lies to Tontattas that he is a friend of theirs.
Leo falls for it and says the name “Usoland”
He also gains the information about the one-legged soldier working with them.
Trebol tells them his goo is flammable, and lights it up, exploding the Tontattas.
Leo is blown away to where Usopp is. Usopp tells him to flee, they can’t beat Trebol.
But Leo is adamant to finish the SOP operation, they can’t fail their captain.
Once the operation is successful he’ll surely take down Doflamingo!
(Captain as in, leader of a squad, not captain of a ship)
Meanwhile at the elevator side
Lao G kicks and knocks the soldier into a wall.
Short flashback for the sodlier
Earlier this morning – The gladiators and Tontattas celebrate Doflamingo resigning from Shichibukai and the throne.
But the soldier tells them what he knows already.. the news is a mistake.
Rebecca is fed up with this, and decides to enter the tournament for the devil fruit.
She says everyone knows the status of Kyros must be a fake. A symbol of hope, a fantasy to look up to.
The toy soldier tells her the tournament is not a fight she can win.
He scolds her telling her she’s still only 16, and a child. She should listen to what he says.
She yells back at him telling him he’s not even her parent, and he’s nothing but a one-legged soldier, he stands no chance against Doflamingo.
The soldier leaves telling her she’s right, but he still wishes her to not enter the ring.
As he leaves Rebecca cries, apologizing to him for what she said
end of flashback
Rebecca slashes at Diamante, but her sword is bladeless. It doees nothing to Diamante.
He steps on her foot so she can’t get away, creates a mace, and clubs her. He tells her the ring is a place for killers, if you cannot make me bleed, you yourself must bleed to please the crowd.
Sabo sees Rebecca in danger, and sends Muscle-melon I mean Bartolomeo to aid her.
He tells him to protect her.
Diamante asks Rebecca if she knows how her mother Scarlet died.
He tells her a toy soldier was crying at her death, and how it was pitiful.
Back to the Lift… the earth is trembling, Lao G wonders Pica must be rampaging, but why…?
Tontattas attack and holds Lao G in place while Kabu goes to help the Soldier to his feet.
Kabu tells their captain to head to Doflamingo, and not worry about them. Only he can defeat Doflamingo!
Back to Usopp
Usopp asks why Leo and others counts on the toy soldier so much, what do you see in him?
He tells Usopp that normally someone turned into a toy is enslaved to Sugar’s contract.
But when Sugar turned the Toy soldier, she forgot to say the contract! The only mistake she made in 10 years.
He is the only toy soldier that can revolt against Doflamingo, he is the hope for all toys and Tontattas.
No one remembers his name when he was human… it is Kyros. The most powerful gladiator in the history of the Colisseum!

Luffy: He’s absolutely fine whatever it is. On the monitor, not clear enough to see the dialogues. It seems Trebol laughs and says how he’s successfully captured the gullible dwarves.
Sugar picks up the tobascao chilli ball and says ‘is this toxic? it doesnt smell good.’
Not sure if it’s Leo on the bottom panel saying something.
Likely, Usopp is about to stand out to be the hero. seems robin is a toy now
Trivia: Usopp’s name is probably based on “Isoppu”, which is the Japanese pronunciation of Aesop, the ancient Greek fabulist.

chapter 740 “It’s up to you!”

Luffy and Violet runs through the B1F of the palace.
The walls are constantly shifting, and every way is a deadend, thanks to Pica’s ability.
Violet worries about Zoro they left behind, but Luffy says he’ll be alright no matter what
Zoro vs Pica
Pica is no longer shape of a man, he’s stretched across from wall to wall, with a face in the middle.
Zoro has no idea how to end this fight, every cut he makes seems to have no effect on Pica.
(Very logia-like)
Meanwhile in 1F, the toy soldier, Kabu, and Rambo make their way through, but Gladius stands in their way.
Kabu and Rambo decides to attack him from two opposite sides to buy the soldier time to run, but Gladius easily catches the two Tontattas.
His arms blow up big like baloon, then explodes, knocking out both Tontattas.
Gladius is a Pam Pam fruit user, and is a Puncture man.
(this will be tricky to translate, “punc” in Japanese is short for tire punctures, but it’s not the English word puncture…
it means inflated to the point of bursting. So more accurately he’s a bursting-man)
He can inflate any non-organic substance and explode it. So he’s basically DIG DUG MAN
He grabs the toy soldier and inflates his head big.
Right as it’s about to burst, Luffy arrives and Jet stamps Gladius away.
Gladius is pissed seeing Violet with the Strawhat, he cannot forgive traitors.
Although she insists she’s not a traitor, as she was never aligned with them in the first place. She runs with Luffy, as they have no time to deal with Gladius.
Gladius blows up his helmet, sending shards at the two, and injuring Violet.
Luffy decides to make a shortcut, and carries both the soldier and Violet and jumps out of the window, using his rubber ability to head straight for the destination.
As Gladius wonders where they dissipated off to, Doflamingo appears. Uh, no wait. Donquixote Doflaemon appears.
The strangely samurai Dofla tells Gladius he’ll leave this up to him and head to the underground for Kanjurou
Gladius tells Doflaemon the samurai dissappeared at the Scrapyard, to Doflaemon’s surprise. (Doflaemon does a great job looking like Dofla to be honest lol)
Meanwhile outside the Suit room, Luffy and co are listening to the conversation in the room.
Luffy wants to bust in and fight, but Violet insists on staying with the soldier’s plan Dofla is interrogating Law, very annoyed about being ignorant of what’s going on.
Law’s plan should have been just the factory… so how does the Tontatta fit in?
How is it that Strawhats are working with them?
How did they get into the underground? Why are they after Sugar?
If this isn’t coincidences, that means they know the darkness at the center of this country…
Baby 5 hits Law, demanding him to answer Dofla’s questions.
Law glares back at her menacingly, which sends her crying to Buffalo
Law has no idea what Dofla is saying, and tells him the alliance with Straw Hats are over with.
Dofla asks King Riku if he knows anything, to which the king remains silent. The toy soldier is glad to see his king alive, remembers when he was recruited by the king when he was Kyros.
He vows to save him.
He wonders what’s taking Leo so long, the moment the toys turn human is the perfect time to strike Dofla.
Leo and Usoland are his only hope!
Luffy: Can I go in now?
Violet: NO!!
There’s no where to run Franky, give yourself in! Shouts the marine.
Franky tells him he’s going to rampage here for absolutely no reason. In truth, Franky knows going to the factory right now while marines are on his tail would hinder the plan.
He decides to fight them here, and leave it all up to Usopp.
Meanwhile, Robin has turned into a toy doll.
She tried to throw the Tatababasco into Sugar’s mouth using the Hana Hana ability, but Sugar grabbed Robin’s clone arm and turned her into a toy.
She wonders where Usopp is, he is their only hope left.
The Tontattas are all defeated by Sugar and Trebol. Sugar wonders if the grape they kept trying to force into her mouth is a poison.
Leo is down on the ground, beaten, and remembers what Usopp said about saving them.
He leaves it all up to Usopp.
While everyone’s counting on Usopp….
Usopp runs from the scene, vowing to never forget Tontatta’s bravery and one day he’ll write a picture book about them.
But he can’t die here now over a lie of being a hero. Besides, it’s Franky fault, why isn’t he here!?
Usopp the coward runs away…

ONEPIECE Chapter 741 – Usoland the Liar
The cover is Straw Hat crew in military caos
Usopp runs, wondering how the hell to get out of there.
He’s still blaming Franky.
Trebol grabs a receiver for the PA system and yells out to the whole facility for the toys to stop gawking and get back to work.
The toys realize there’s a revolt going on, and hopes for success.
The fallen Tontattas are munbling Usoland’s name.
Trebol and Sugar wonders who that is, and Leo screams USOLAND!
He tells Trebol that that’s the name of the legendary hero who will save the whole country, to which Trebol laughs.
After hearing their tale, he tells them that’s all a lie.
Whoever this Usoland guys is, he’s a coward and must have already ran off.
Usopp hears the conversation, and confirms Trebol’s suspicions are correct.
But the Tontattas do not back down, Leo tells him Usoland will keep his promise and come kick his ass.
Trebol stomps on Leo.
Then as other Tontattas cry in support of Leo’s claim, he walks around stomping on all of them, making them squeal under his feet.
That’s enough!! Usopp comes out of hiding.
He screams at the Tontattas that Trebol is right… he has been lying all this time!
He’s not a hero, nor is his name Usoland.
I am Usopp, the sniper of the Straw Hats. A pirate!
Leo asks him but he’s still a hero, right?
Usopp replies, no, he’s no hero, he’s a pirate.
Trebol asks him if he’s come back just to confirm his lies,
and Usopp said he’d rather gamble his life here than to live with this on his conscious.
Remember my name, it is USOPP!
And if I die here, build a statue of me next to Noland!
I’ll become your “legendary hero” here and now!
All the toys at the factory hears his speech, the man who will be their hero.
Usopp attacks Trebol with Shurikens (Plantanas Shruiken?) made out of plants, which seems to have chopped Trebol in half!
(although he’s likely a logia…)
Meanwhile in the room of Suits
as Luffy, Violet, and Kyros waits for their opportunity, Kyros finds a good sword to use.
Violet explains to Luffy how Kyros was in the tournament, and Kyros’ flashback begins.
A young boy named Kyros, age of 15, murdered someone in the slums.
The king and his men come to arrest him, and he attacks King Riku.
(Kyros looks like young Dragon btw)
As the guards try to fire upon Kyros, the king stops them.
He asks Kyros to come with him.
Enraged Kyros had committed murder to avenge the death of his friend.
He must fight in the Coliseum to win his freedom.
A hundred win is needed for it.
In matter of 4 months he has earned his freedome with one hundred victories.
But he has grown to like the Coliseum, as he is wanted and needed there.
He chooses to stay.
He continues to build victories after victories, and contestants from all over the world come to challenge Kyros.
He fought giants, and even Fishmen underwater. After 4 years, he has reached the heights no gladiator has ever seen… 1000 victories.
Kyros visits his friend’s grave, and meets King Riku there.
He burst in tears saying no matter what he does the rest of his life, he is remembered as a murderer.
He wishes people would just forget about him entirely…
Ironically, the wish of his youth was granted decades later, in the worst possible way.

ONEPIECE Chapter 742 I will always be near you

Kyros has reached 3000 victories in 9 years.
He even defeated the mysterious gladiator Ricky.
Kyros went easy on Ricky, realizing Ricky was his teacher and lord, king Riku.
Riku invites Ricky to leave the coliseum as he has work for him.
A year later, Kyros is promoted to commander of the royal Riku army.
He is popular with the people, but princess Scarlet denounces him a killer, and complains he is unfit to lead an army.
10 year old Viola uses her eye power to defend Kyros, but Scarlet tells her to stop reading into his filthy mind.
She orders him to stay away from herself and her sister.
But when Scarlet was kidnapped by pirates, Kyros saved her.
He apologizes for touching her, but she cries and hugs Kyros telling him how frightened she was.
Soon the two fall for each other.
However, Riku tells them the world will not welcome the two getting together.
Scarlet is adamant she will be with Kyros, that she fakes her own death to the public.
As the public morns, Riku tells Scarlet and Kyros he wouldn’t have forgiven this is it was anyone else but Kyros.
The two live outside the kingdom in the flower fields, and have a daughter.
King Riku and Viola visits their house often, and welcomes the newborn.
Kyros tells his daughter, Rebecca, that he will always be near her.
But tragedy hits the family.
On the fateful day, Kyros heads to the burning palace, leaving Scarlet and Rebecca behind.
He tells them to meet him at the Red Flower Garden if anything was to happen.
Kyros confronts Doflamingo, who is holding the king captive by him.
The Donquixote family managed to shackle Kyros with a seastone chain, although he is not a Devil Fruit user.
Dofla tells him to join his side, and that old royalty will all perish today.
Dofla tells him he already sent his men to dispose your wife and daughter.
(I don’t think that’s a very good recruiting tactic, Dofla)
As he tries to execute Riku in front of him, Kyros cuts his own legs off to free himself from the shackles,
and saves the king.
But he is turned into a toy soldier in the process.
He carries the king and flees on one leg.
He saves Scarlet and Viola from the chasing pirates, and tells them to wait at the promised place.
But they have no memories of him anymore, and doesn’t head to the red flower garden.
Scarlet is shot and killed in front of his eyes by Diamante.
He screams out his wife’s name, and carriers her body out of the city.
Flashback ends
As the soldier snaps out of it, Viola sees Gladius and goons coming up the stairs.
He realized he’s been duped by a fake Doflamingo.
Kyros realizes if they’re gonna end up fighting him here, might as well surprise attack Doflamingo.
Meanwhile in Colisseum, the cracks from Burgess’ attacks are reaching the underground.
Sabo continues to dodge Burgess’ attacks, and smiles “good, good”.
(implying, the structural damages Jesus Burgess is causing is beneficial to him)
Diamante tells Rebecca that he is the one that shot Scarlet to death, and Rebecca crumbles on her knees.
Barto complains his physical barriers is pointless if words are what’s defeating her
At the toy house, Franky is beaten and on the ground against combined Senior Pink, Mach Vice, and the marines.
He believes Usopp is capable, and trusts he will cause the panic.
Underground, the Tontattas are chanting Usoland
The toys think to themselves, if Usopp pulls this off he will be their hero, and they will follow him.
Even Cavendish says he won’t go after Luffy anymore if they can save him from being a toy.
After much explosions, Usopp is down. He is unconscious beaten, and trapped in sticky.
Sugar pulls out the “poison grape” (the tatababasco) and shoves it down Usopp’s mouth. She thinks it’ll kill him.
The moment Usopp gulps down the grape, his eyees and tongue shoots out like tentacles, as he screams.
Sugar puts on the Enel-faced-Perona-face, as she screams in the horrible site.
Trebol tells her to get a hold of herself, but despite his cries, Sugar foams at the mouth and loses consciousness… !!

Note:
Keep in mind, the toys cheering for Usopp on the scene are named powerful gladiators
Regardless of what happens, Trebol is El fxxked.
And Usopp face is frightening. It’s like fungus growing out of eyes and mouth scary.
If you saw that up close, you’d wet your pants too! |
